Good things: They got me in as a walk-in, without a wait. This place is not a crowded circus as The Nailery (Olathe) can be. My gel nails look pretty decent.Bad things: I had a young man (Marco?) and he was obviously very tired and in pain. He kept stopping to rub his shoulder and try to sit up straight. At one point I noticed he was actually falling asleep while doing my nails. I asked him if he was okay and he nodded yes. Another nail tech said something to him (not in English) and he tried to wake himself up. He was also sweating, leading me to wonder if he was sick.Bella - you might want to take better care of your employees and thus your customers?

While getting a pedicure, the guy asked me which pedicure service I wanted. I had looked online and it have me 3 different options, $25, $32 and $38. I told him the cheap one. I could not remember the names of the 3 options. He the cheap one, uh? As I checked out he said $35. I told him online said $25. Well I put special polish on to last longer. Did he ask me if I wanted that. NO. Did he even say he was doing that service. NO. I may own a home in Johnson County, but Im still on a limited budget. In my opinion, this was a cheap, dishonest nail salon.

I paid $63 for dip acrylics and I shouldn’t have. I asked for coffin nails and some were but some were also ovals and squares. The dip came out VERY clumpy and I thought she would fix it but she didn’t. I would’ve loved to have gotten her name because she needs to re-learn how to do nails. These nails are so poorly done, I am never coming back to this location.

Daughter left salon with bleeding nails. They cut skin in 4 cuticle/fingernails and 1 toe nail drawing blood. Painful & the nails did not look good! Very uneven polish job! When I notified the manager of the salon of the terrible experience, he stated there was nothing he could. When asked if we could get cuticle cream for the red/inflamed areas he handed over oil (not sure what it is) in a used old bottle of nail polish. Very sketchy! Extremely poor customer service! Will not be back!

Went in for a gel pedicure and dip on my fingernails. I asked and was originally told I could use the same color for my toes and fingers because I wanted them to match but then after my toes were done I was told I couldn’t do that and there was not a matching color for my fingernails so I had to mix match. The dip looked good right after it was done but after two days I have multiple nails that are chipped and cracked. I had been to this place a while back and had been satisfied but I was extremely unhappy with this visit and the result.

Edit: dropped them a star as the technician dug into my great toes for ingrown toenails. I dont think a technician needs to dig in that deep unless they are doctors. My pedicure was completed on a Saturday afternoon and my right great toe is still hurting on a Tuesday. Attached is a photo of the cut she made on my toe and how it is red and swollen. The toe is still tender to the touch and Ive been using Neosporin and Band-Aids since that appointment.Quick and quality service. They fit us in as a walk in without any difficulties. The man explained prices and services before we picked out colors. The woman who completed my pedicure and manicure was efficient. I liked how the sugar scrub came individually packed. The spa is clean, efficient, and reasonably priced.

Had a black dip done and you can see straight through the black dip. Horrible nail techs. Will never come here or recommend again.

My fiance went yesterday and was cut about a dozen times, they werent obeying sanitizing laws, nails were crooked and poorly done, overcharged, rude, and took almost 5 hours. enough reasons? place should be shut down.

Called 15 minutes before coming in to ask if they could squeeze me in. They did, and gave me an awesome gel manicure in only 20 minutes (I was in a rush)!! Kind, great family feel, would definitely come back.

Today I went to Bella nails for a manicure with an upgrade of the opi shine polish. Twice I was asked if I wanted a gel polish or dip manicure and I said No. I can’t do gel as they always always peel and I will no longer do dipped nails. Anyway, the manicure was subpar and I had to ask for the tech to remove the remaining nail polish at the end of the cleaning before the polish application. I had a text from Bella nail for 10% off for my birthday. They tell me that it is not their store but the other one off of 87th St, same name but different owner. I was handed a brochure and looked at their prices as I just shelled out $30 for a sad manicure. Their old prices were listed and I asked if they changed the prices and was told by a man working there, they had increased their prices and he have many brochures and could not change the prices on them. I said I did not want them to change their prices but rather provide a better manicure with hot stones or a hot towel, at least. While my nails are drying, the owner asked if I had the coupon to the 87th St. location and I replied yes and he told me to go there. I told him that I would and left. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a business in my life. The place is a very nice looking salon and it’s the closest one to my house but it is the least professional, worst customer service, poor quality, over priced nail salon I have ever been. I have no idea how they stay open. Tomorrow, I will drive to the Bella Salon off 87th St and have them redo their work. This is not the first time I have been disappointed in their service but this is the last time I will ever patron their salon.

Our overall experience was awful!!!! Well never come here again!!! Me, my step-mother and my sister all went to get our nails done here. They did mine and my step-mothers the way we wanted and correctly while my sister (11) got hers done poorly and incorrectly.

I was very excited to finally get a mani-pedi. I stopped into Bella Nails and asked the girl at the desk how much one was. She said $38.00. I went yesterday. I had never been there before. Lets just say, Ive never had a pedicure take only twenty minutes before. I should have left then. When he started my manicure, the towel he opened up had someone elses nail clippings in it. He shook the clippings out and turned the towel over. When it was over, again very fast, he charged me sixty dollars. I said I came in because I was told the price was thirty-eight dollars. He said I chose special polish (OPI) and that hed raised his prices. We argued, I finally paid, he walked away, and I had to walk to my car barefoot because I couldnt put the shoes I wore in on over my pedicure. I will take it up with American Express. I wont go back.

I went for the first time today for a pedicure despite the average ratings/reviews. It’s close to my house and I was hoping to find a new spot.This will NOT be my new go-to place. The polish selection is awful and you have to pay extra for half of the colors.My nail tech had extremely long nails that were painfully digging in to my toes while he was painting them. He was hacking away at my cuticles which was also painful.The staff was barely friendly. They were busy and only had maybe 3 people working at first. It took forever.Definitely will not be back.

Typically, I am happy with their service. However today, I walked in, honestly expecting a wait. I walked in and asked how long and was told no wait. As I sat down, I started looking at others in their pedicure chairs. The lady said they were done.. however they were still waiting. It was going to be at least 40 minutes before they got to me. I dont mind waiting, I do mind being lied to.

They gave me the wrong color and I didnt have time for them to redo my nails so I asked if they could give me a discount since they had obviously given me a different color than I had asked for. She said they dont do discounts but will redo my nails free of charge. After taking all of the dip polish off my nails that she had just finished she told me to go wash my hands. Then she told me I was done and could leave. I looked at her confused because she had said she would Redo My nails but all she did was strip them of the color. My friends heard the whole conversation. The ladies at the nail salon denied saying that and said If I want them redone with the correct color I can pay the $40. But all they would do for me is remove the wrong color Free of charge After being there for an hour I left with no polish on my nails. What kind of business doesnt fix or make up for their mistakes? Worst establishment ive ever been to and I would not go back there if my life depended on it. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Customer service is poor at this shop. They sit you down and tell you it will only be a couple minutes but ended up waiting 30 minutes before someone got to me. Also had an issue with the color with the gel polish turning a weird brownish green two days later. I went in to see if they could help me and the owner/manager guy fought me on it and was quite rude. True good customer service would be to satisfy the customer. I will not go back.

I just moved to the area an am looking for a new nail salon. Upon walking in I was greeted like I was a bother. When I sat in the waiting area I immediately noticed the filth. Dust bunnies all over the floor and covering the decorations and furniture as well. I should have left, but needed my nails done badly. The lady who did my nails never spoke the entire time except to ask me how much tip Id like to put on the card at the end of our business. That too bothers me, because I dont feel comfortable leaving a smaller amount when she is the one inputting the amount. Please take time to sweep or vacuum. They also allowed their dog to roam around.

I got a pedicure done. She cleaned up really well and did a neat job. Prices are reasonable depending on what you get done. Didnt have any waiting time.

Called prior to appointment to see if a wait. I was told no, come on in. Get there with my girls and we sit there for over 20 minutes. We had two that needed soaked off, didnt even start that for over 20 minutes. Asked my daughter who did her nails and proceeded to tell her they looked really bad. Told my other daughter she needed acrylics because of her nails biting. This would be ok, but felt he was rude. I gave him my debit card he asked me how much tip....when I told him he raised the price by a few dollars. I dont recall ever being asked what I was going to tip PRIOR to running my card and then writing in whatever tip I wanted. I let him know my time is valuable as well. Be honest with customers there are A LOT of choices in the area to get nails done. Third bad experience at Bella, wont be returning.

Teenage daughters went there. Cost was more than advertised on the website (2 times). They were up sold on products they didn’t want or need. Staff was rude both in person and on the phone. Won’t go back.

I have been coming here for a few years and the staff works really hard. They are kind and really want to help people have a good experience. They just changed out all the massage chairs which is great! The place is clean and tidy.

I come here regularly for pedicures and have always been pleased with the experience. They have opened for us for baby showers outside of regular business hours on more than one occasion. The owner is super nice and accommodating. Thank you!

Nails and service were fine. Judy watch your receipt. We were charged more for the gratuity than we told the lady. I wish i would have looked at the receipt before we left. I told the lady 8 dollars, she charged 12 for tip. Probably wont go back.

Worst service ever, did not do what was asked, over charged by alot over what advertised prices shows on there pamplet, took major advantage of my 11 year old. Filthy salon. And very very rude

I had a $30 balance on a gift card, stated clearly on a receipt of my prior visit, and the male owner told me the balance was $0 and would not accept it, claiming I must have “forgotten spending the money.” When I told him I felt scammed he yelled at me. The time before that they cut my finger so bad they couldn’t charge me for my manicure. And multiple times I have been there and they let their son try and sell you fundraiser items for his Boy Scout troop while you are getting your nails done.

Absolutely horrible service. I got a pedicure and left with multiple cuts. I asked to have my callus removed and the lady didnt do that. Plus my cousin got a fill and when we were paying they tried to charge her double for something the owner husband messed up on. When we try to explain she said well next time just go somewhere else. SO RUDE!!!!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!!!🤬🤬🤬

Terrible. I asked for a regular manicure. Waited about 10-15 minutes. One of the technicians came out and led me to a station. Then she disappeared. 10 minutes later she had not reappeared and several other people who worked there had walked by and ignored me. I left. Apparently they are not interested in my business.

Called ahead of time to verify they could get us in, drove 20 min, waited over an hour and they kept saying just a few more minutes!!! Terrible customer experience. If you dont have time, say so. We ran out of time and had to leave...without our nails done.

I have been going to Bella Nails over several years for both manicures and pedicures. Recently, I have noticed that both the quality of services and the attitude of employees has declined. I will not be back. Most recently, I got a gel manicure at this location 5 days ago. It had micro bubbles in the polish from day one and started peeling at day 4. I went back to Bella nails today to ask for them to fix the nails affected. I asked for the owner and explained to him that I was disappointed in the quality of the manicure. He got defensive and asked if I actually had a gel manicure and who did the manicure. When I named the individual, he stated that she NEVER had any complaints. There was never an apology or any move to fix what was done poorly. He did then say they would fix the manicure, but they were very busy. I offered to come back later, and asked for a good time or an appointment to come back. He said they wouldnt do an appointment. I asked then who I should ask for when I came back, and again, he said just to ask for the manicurist...this whole experience was not customer friendly at all, and actually felt that he was trying to shame me/accused me of not being truthful. I will not be back. This is not my only negative experience at Bella Nails, and have frankly only returned recently because of proximity to my home. However, there are many other nail salons, and this most recent experience pushed me over to try something different. I would encourage anyone who is driving by this salon to keep driving.

Used to love going here as it was close to my house and the staff was friendly. During the last year its changed dramatically. The owners have horrible customer service skills and the employees dont smile anymore or make small talk. Workers rush through manicures and pedicures are sub par. Even though its close to my house Im not going back.

There were 4 people waiting when I got there & the guy told me itd only be 10 minutes. After waiting about 20, I got taken back to a pedicure chair, only to soak my feet for another 25 minutes. I realized 10 minutes is what he tells everyone regardless of how long it will be.My nail technician was super nice & very good. There was a 10 year old ( guessing age) boy at the cash register. I had to interrupt his computer game to pay. I asked if I could pay $5 extra on my card to leave a tip. He said no, if I dont have cash I dont need to tip. Then changed his mind & asked how much I wanted to tip. I said $5 so he ran my card for $30.50. I hope the tech got her tip from me. I paid $25 for the pedi, $5 for the tip & $0.50 for a mani/acrylic surcharge which is strange because I got a basic pedicure & even brought my own polish. Ill probably never go back.

Not an excellent experience. Went for a regular manicure/pedicure, and lip/chin wax. I’m not a great judge of pedicures because I typically request the bare minimum. I was instructed to walk barefoot from the pedicure chair to the manicure area, which isn’t a huge deal but I’m pretty sure I felt nail clippings with every other step. I was asked twice if I wanted a gel manicure, because “regular manicure chips”. Once I confirmed that I just wanted good old fashioned polish, I received a hastily done manicure with little attention to shape or cuticles. In the end, I was overcharged by $4.OK service if you need your nails done in a pinch and don’t want a long wait, but I would not recommend otherwise.

Not a satisfying experience. First, we had to wait an hour before anyone touched our nails even though we had made an appointment. They were very busy and seemed to have short staff so we were understanding of that. Then a technician comes in, glares at my friend, drops her tool box down on the floor, and then walks away. When she came back, she just looked very unhappy to be there and ended up rushing through my friends pedicure. She spent 15min on a signature pedi and finished before the lady next to her who started 10min before. I lucked out and got the manager, who did great. At the checkout, my friend cordially talked to him upfront about how she wasnt satisfied with her service and he just questioned her. She told them she would pay for the $25 pedi but didnt feel like she received the service for the signature. He continued to question both of us as if he wasnt going to budge and finally said, fine, Ill give you the sugar, referring the the scrub, told us to have a nice weekend and walked away without an apology. Needless to say it was not a relaxing experience and we will not be going back. Before posting this, we realized there are quite a bit of bad reviews and should have researched first and gone somewhere else.

I got right in, folks were very nice. Paid extra for nail polish that supposedly lasts longer, and if it does, they get a 5! Prices competitive.

I dont live here but went for my nieces birthday to get our nails done. We went on 3/17/17. We got no chip mani and pedis. Im very disappointed they rushed and my nails have bubbles. One nail is already chipping. My daughter got here done with the mood changing color and they only put 1 coat. If I could rate them zero I would. My family wont be going back to this place.

They did a wonderful job on my gel set so Id thought Id come back and try a waxing. Terrible mistake i broke out terribly. Not sure if Im allergic to the wax or due to poor sanitation. Never broke out before.

Today they made my daughter feel embarrassed about the nail design she wanted and barked at me when I politely asked to have a smudge fixed. 0 stars

I am honestly not tha pleased, the inside was nice but the service was not the best place Ive went.. My sister goes here all the time and tells me how great they were so my mother and I decided to go since our usual lady couldnt fit us in. I got a full set done, the person cut me on two different fingers as well as taking almost two hours. After gluing on the nails, they stopped and went to paint another ladies nails leaving me sit for over 30 minutes. They seemed angry that I did not want to get Gel polish and hardly said anything to me after I said no. My mother got the signature pedicure and it was only 20 minutes at max.. We will not be returning.

Used to love this place but not anymore. I tried the gel nail a couple of times and EVERY SINGLE TIME it chipped right after... They will try and talk you into the gel nail and tell you its better but my regular nail polish always lasted longer and was cheaper. Its also a hit or miss on if you get someone super nice or extremely rude. They do stand around a lot... You also almost always have to wait, this past time I had to wait over an hour to get only three nails I had broke fixed! At that point I decided it was time to start going elsewhere. Dont recommend this spot!

I’ve been going to bella nails for years and recently i got acrylics for the first time there. at first i thought they were nice & didn’t really have complaints until i went to a different nail place to get a fill and the man there who did my nails told me that my nails were uneven and bumpy, the shape (which was supposed to be almond) was not almond and more like oval & each nail had a different shape. i didn’t realize this at first because i didn’t know any better because i’ve never gone to any other place for acrylics. The man at bella nails who i assume runs the place has never been the nicest either, he & the other staff members would treat me differently from the others because of my age & would always try and change up what i would ask him to do. i will not be coming back.

We starting going to Bella Nails when we moved to the area. They always do a great job and are wonderful with daughter too.

I went into this business for the last time yesterday. They are rude and generally dont even greet you. I waited 45 mins in the water for a pedi and then left. The manager came over with tools, grabbed some gloves and never came back. Only 3 other customers were there. He was on his phone the entire time. Today I called to talk to him and he hung up on me after many lies and being very defensive. My daughter had the same treatment X2. She no longer goes there.

The hours state that it opens at 9:00 am on Saturday but no one was there today... I waited until 9:10 in the parking lot then left. In my opinion you should be ready to take patrons at 9:00 am unless this place of business is closed...

I waited at least 20 minutes for just a gel nail painting, then when I found out they didnt have the color I had in mind I was rushed to pick a new color. Overall I am not happy with the outcome, I have polish on the skin around the nail as well. My nails are cut uneven too.

Ive been to several nail salons & this is my favorite. Friendly staff, up to date & clean establishment, & my toe polish usually lasts for at least a month or two.

Rude. Male owner treats customers bad. Raised his voice to me. When my nails began to chip after 48 hours I went back and he wanted to charge me 30 more because he said it was my nails fault not theirs, despite the fact Ive never had problems before and the gel was thinner than usual. I do not recommend going here. Unless you like to be treated with disrespect. Awful experience. They also start talking in Korean when they dont want you to understand which I find distasteful.

We drive from Leawood every two weeks to get our nails done here. There is not a strong fume smell with the location and we rarely have to wait. Most of all, the nail technicians are SUPER STARS
