Very poor experience, and dealing with the ramifications 7 months later. I found this company through Thumbtack. I was a brand new business owner and was very excited to work with a female-owned company. Upon speaking with Lynne the very first time I called, I was immediately instructed to turn my single-member LLC into an S-Corp without even discussing how much I planned to earn for the year. The justification was that I wouldnt have to pay self-employment tax. I was naïve and inexperienced, and I completed the S-Corp form I was sent and instructed to complete without ever signing any agreements or consents with this company. Rookie mistake, and one I take full responsibility for. HOWEVER, I was under the impression that the paperwork would not have been submitted until my tax returns for the previous year were being prepared. I talked with others in my particular field and was warned that making my company an S-Corp in its first year was a HUGE MISTAKE. Frantic, I contacted Lynne, Yvette, and another person who was covering for someone while they were out. I explained that I DID NOT want my company to be an S-Corp and to avoid filing that paperwork. I told them I wanted to go with a CPA who gave me appropriate advice for my current situation. I was assured THREE SEPARATE TIMES that my paperwork was shredded and that the S-Corp paperwork was redacted and had not gone through. I thought this was the end of things, but I received a letter from the IRS last week stating that my company was considered an S-Corp as of October of last year (I spoke with Mrs. Van Blake in December and started my business in October). I am incredibly upset and am going to have to spend all day tomorrow on the phone with the IRS, and I am going to have to spend a lot of time trying to correct this mistake that I was assured three times would not happen. Im hoping the IRS gives me grace or this will be a VERY EXPENSIVE mistake. Im the most angry with myself for trusting this company and not doing more extensive research when I first started out. Learn from my mistakes - do your research and ALWAYS get a second quote/opinion.

She was able to request documents from the IRS and get five years filed. I received my refunds in a short amount of time and plan to use her in the future! A+

Will not being going back. Short version of my story. This company did our taxes. We ended up owing the IRS $4000.00 We knew something was wrong because weve never owed anything to the IRS. We asked that our paperwork be looked over again. We were told there was nothing that could be done. My wife spent 16 hours total on the phone with the IRS over the course of 2 months. We found out there was an error made by our tax preparer. We ended up resubmitting our paperwork ourselves and ended up getting a refund of $4000. A pretty expensive mistake.

Moved to OKC area and found this CPA firm, cant be more happy with the level of service. They do my business payroll and books, making filing taxes easier. No longer have to turn in a box of crumbled receipts!
