I realized I caught a nail at 4:30 and while another Firestone just told me to drop the tire off tomorrow, this location was both available and willing to fix my flat on the spot. The cost was agreeable and I am thoroughly pleased with the service speed and quality. My questions were answered and the staff took social distancing seriously.Admittedly, the first location I called may have simply been to busy to be bothered. Still, Im glad I called around.
This place is amazing. Quick straightforward honest service. I messed up quite alot on my car and it was fixed in 2 days. Highly recommend!!!
I had a flat tire I noticed before heading to work. I called and Chris was so helpful and was able to squeeze me in. I ended up needing new tires, so they replaced all 4 and it was surprisingly less than I had anticipated. Thankful I was able to get in on such short notice and he kept me informed through out the process.. it also felt nice to not be harassed into buying what I didnt need (the tires were an upsale I guess... but I knew that was needed, I just kept postponing but it was waaayyyyy overdue)Thanks for the great service
The worst service I have ever had. Replaced an AC condenser at a cost $700 saying that would fix the issue. Then tried to add on another $800 because the condenser they put in had a leak.Multiple people told me not to go here. I should have listened. HORRIBLE.
Excellent place to buy tires and their care
I received great customer service from Michael and the rest of the team. They even recommended a salon to go to while I waited to get a tire fixed.
These guys are awesome period i only take my vehicles here becauae of the great customer service.
I’m impressed with the lack of effort
The manager Chris and Jeff are amazing. I took my car in to get it service. After the service I found some small things and I brought to the manager Chris attention. HE MADE THINGS RIGHT. I am extremely thankful for him taking care of the issues and his professionalism. I definitely recommend Firestone Auto care on May Ave. Thank your Chris. Also thank you Jeff for always being so helpful. You guys are awesome. These men deserve a raise.
Worst service possible. Waiting 25 mins for the older guy to acknowledge me. Got setup for oil change and alignment. Gave him a number to call when he was finished. Found out 30 mins before closing they couldnt get it in. Car was there from 1:30 to 7.
These guys are really efficient and I feel like they take great care of me and my Jeep.
The service was great, however I feel like the guy tried to sell me something I didnt need, yes my headlight was melted however trying to sale me something that was over $900 dollars when I got it fixed for less than $60 was a little overdoing it. I get he works on commission but thats ridiculous.
I usually take my work van in to Firestone for oil changes and for regular maintenance. The guys at the front desk are always a pleasure to talk to. I always look forward to talking with them while Im waiting on my van.
I bought 4 new tires, the next day drove over something and had a flat. Called firestone to see if I could come in to get a new tire (even if I had to pay for it) but I was told they were already closed (although the website says 6 wnd to y answered the phone. it was a little after 5). I asked about the morning and was told yes I could come in at 8 but it would be a few hours b/c they had appointments. Wasn’t offered an appointment or another option. Went to discount tire that was open until 6, ordered tire and will call me as soon as they get it in to get it on today!!!! Also found out that I could have gotten the tires a couple hundreds cheaper at discount. Lesson learned!!!
Great staff. They were timely and very nice. I appreciate good customer service especially during this pandemic!!!! I went to two auto shops yesterday for an oil change and they were charging almost triple what I usually pay and they were rude af!!!
Awesome!! Did my breaks and rim!!! The customer service was fantastic!! They did awesome on the phone to in store I’m not going anywhere Elena!! Guy working the phone was awesome!!!
Awsome place. Ill be returning if needed.
Last September, I bought what they told me were “top of the line” tires from for my 2013 Dodge Ram. Fast forward to February- my wife was driving my truck and it completely blew out. It was absolutely shredded. Just gone. Luckily, she was not on the highway or she could have been hurt or worse. I had to buy a new tire $250 + I also had to buy a new sensor because the original one was lost which cost an other $250. When I went back to they were openly and flat out indifferent to what had happened. And, more importantly, unwilling to reimburse me for the considerable costs I had to shell out. It’s ridiculous that after less than 6 months, tires would blow out. Obviously they’re using low quality tire and sloppy workmanship. You couldn’t pay me to go back to for any reason. I’ve already told all my friends and family to avoid this place. And now I’m telling the world.
Thank goodness. They were open early. We had a nail in our tire and were able to get it fixed. No hassle Thanks Firestone.
Very good service done in the time I was told. Very professional staff. My experience allows me to recommend highly!
DO NOT USE THE ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM AND EXPECT IT TO WORK. I’ve scheduled my car twice for different appointments, only to arrive at the place and then tell me they can’t get me in. Call and make your appointment or run the risk of wasting a lot of time.
My boyfriend and I are on a trip from Chicago on our way to Arizona & stopped in Oklahoma City for the night. We woke up with a few alarming car sounds and decided to bring it into one of the few places open here on a Sunday. We spoke with Mark on the phone and later met with him in person and he was so kind to check out the car for us before we hit the road again. He gave us really great & helpful advice and put all our worries to rest. This guy realllly knows what he is talking about & he was so friendly and so personable, if we happen to be in OKC again & need anything Mark will be our go-to guy.
Great customer service! Staff is professional and courteous, and they listen and respond appropriately. They may make suggestions, but they dont try to oversell. Store and surrounding area is kept clean. Chris is AWESOME!
I must have been to three or four different tire and alignment stores throughout OKC, and never had a good experience, until I came to the Firestone on North May. Chris was friendly, very helpful, and a straight shooter. I purchased tires online and had them shipped to my home, but it made no difference to them here, as I still got great service. Also, Firestone has an unlimited lifetime alignment offer that really is one of the best deals around in terms of auto service. This is especially true if you do ordinary suspension work in your own garage like I do, and need to take it to an alignment shop afterward. I rarely leave reviews, but I think people should know about this place. These guys will be my go-to tire and alignment shop from now on.
My husband found some tires for 65.00 per and when I went in the guy told me the cheapest he had was 80
Chris at this Firestone location is an exemplary professional. As many car projects go, I initially came in for a replacement tire, but upon tire removal, a bad bearing was noted. Chris crew had issues removing the bearing, and this caused the whole assembly needing to be replaced. Chris worked with me to come to a compromise on my vehicles repairs and associated costs. Highly recommend dealing with Chris at the May and Grand Firestone location!
Over several years I have learned this shop gives good advice and excellent service. There have been times when they could have exploited my situation or pushed for products not needed or not need yet. They took good care of me and I trust them thoroughly . Once they made a mistake, and they told me they made a mistake! That’s unheard of in this era of deny and blame the customer. THEY HAVE EARNED MY BUSINESS FOR AS LONG AS I HAVE A VEHICLE
Great experience. I walked in needing new tires. My father used to work for Dayton Tire building tires and knew exactly what was needed for my vehicle. Was able to get in and out easily, tech did a great job on install and car now drives wonderfully. They didn’t try to sell anything unneeded, which isgreat. Only challenge was they need more staff due to high walk in and call volume, but overall service was great. Will visit again, and would recommend.
Absolutely the best service I ever got. The girl in front was awesome. Got a great deal on tires. I highly recommend this store.
This is by far the worst possible place you could take your vehicle. I had an issue with this location previously and decided to give them a second chance only to end up being taken advantage of a second time. PLEASE...If you take any advice from reviews seriously, I am warning you now save your time, money and potential damage to your vehicle by going anywhere else besides Firestone! I took my car in for a simple oil change and the technician left something unplugged on my car. I picked up my car and noticed the check engine light was on. When I tried to ask about the check engine light I was told I brought the car in with it on! Long story short, further damage was done to my car caused by the negligence of the employees of Firestone. Not only did they refuse to accept responsibility for their actions, they made me pay to repair the damage their incompetence caused!! And to top it all off my detailed email went completely ignored by those in charge. I’ve accepted I will never get a dime of my money back from them and that my car will never run the same. My only hope is that I can spare others from the same traumatizing event. Please, if your car or truck needs anything, from an oil change to windshield wiper replacement DO NOT trust Firestone. It is obvious this company is only out for money and does not care what is destroyed in its effort to make it!!
Motor blower replacement 😕.Staff and crew very professional!
Very polite and very fast i think its the best shop around !!
We had something stuck in our tire.... great business would recommend.
I had a problem with my brakes and I scheduled an appointment for them to check them out.I agreed to the services needed and they had to change out my whole break system. It was a bit pricey, but the attention to detail was worth it.When leaving, they noticed my back taillight was out, which they fixed for free.I would recommend this Firestone if you need any kind of break job or other car troubles.
I have used this Firestone for 10 years plus as my primary mechanic. They have saved me more than once by fixing repairs that I attempted on my own but was unable to complete. When you find a good mechanic that you can trust you keep them.
Got a set of new tires and alignment for what I think is a good price. It took nearly half the afternoon to have them done, but other than that it was fine.
Place was pretty nice they inspected the whole car. Kinda on the high side 20 bucks for a patch when walmart charges 10 but the did find out i have split tires. And gave me a very reasonable price for new tires
The Firestone on 7535 N. May Ave in Oklahoma City said it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to fix my car today. I called after an 1 1/2 hours to see if the car was fixed and the guy said it was going to take 2 more hours and that they had not even started working on it. I called right at the 2 hour mark and he finally said it was going to be at least another 2 hours because they were having some issues on other cars. After all was said and done it took just under 8 hours to change my oil and fix a leak in my back tire. I dont believe I will ever be going to Firestone to get my oil changed again. This should have been a 1 hour fix at most. Save your time and drive 5 miles to the next closest Hibdons tires. They at least will give you an honest estimated time on how long it will take to complete a simple service. 2/17/2016
They really helped me out! I found out my tire was almost flat after getting off work, and they got me in right before closing to get my tire patched. Great customer service!
Service is horrible since JC was let go. Not the customer service your store once had. Firestone took a tremendous amount of time to fix a simple flat. We had to call them not once, but twice for updates and would have had to wait another day to get our vehicle had we not lived so close. I will be looking for somewhere else to service my vehicle.
My last visit. 7 hrs and counting to replace a tire. This place is always slow. I come because I live close enough to walk. Employees are always friendly about how unbelievably long its taking. But I wont come back.
Holy crap! We had an appointment (an actual APPOINTMENT) at 2pm to have an oil change. Its now 4:22 and were still waiting. They drained the oil from our car WITHOUT having an oil filter. We were supposed to pick our son up from school at 3:45, however, since these idiots put the cart before horse, we are stuck. Cant leave, no oil. Great job, fellas! You just lost a LOOONG time customer. Goodbye.
Only best Firestone store ever. Great job to manger and his crew
I took my car to the location at 7535 N. May Avenue in Oklahoma City after my A/C system was damaged in a highway incident. My car was inspected, and it had been determined that I needed both a new condenser and compressor. The total estimate was north of $2000.00, and I was told that the job would take 3-5 days due to special order parts.Given the high amount, I decided to go ahead and file a claim through my auto insurance. This morning, I met with my insurance adjuster and dropped my car off with Service King. Not even six hours later, I received a call back saying that ALL repairs had been completed, my car was ready for pick-up, and that the total cost was $389.65. The adjuster even stated as much that Firestone was trying to screw me and that damage was nowhere near as significant as they had stated. So, Firestone - how can you get away with recommending unnecessary repairs and trying to charge a guy >$1600 more than he needs to?
If youre a woman, be very careful. Girlfriend brought the car in for a tire rotstion and they said the car needed a new tire, and had a broken wheel lug stud. The car did need a new tire but didnt have any wheel lug stud issues prior to her visit, they tried to play it off to her as though it was not something that happened on their watch.I went up there and explained that it had no issues previously and that either they or the last firestone (S. May) broke it. They agreed to repair it, citing the issue was caused by the other firestone store. Not a bad store, if youre not vehicle ignorant. If you are, I reccomend you have someone who isnt deal with them on your behalf.
There were some issues here. I ordered tires, they didnt call me, I called back and they said they would call back that evening. They didnt, I called back the next day and they said they would have one shipped that day and they would call me back that day...they didnt. I got a call the next day saying my tire was in and at that point I was fed up. People are busy and I was unavailable for the next 5 days and my 2 days off had passed from the time they were suppose to be in to when they actually came in.I left a pretty nasty review but to be honest, those guys were nice. They were helpful and understanding and didnt attempt to bother me while I was frustrated and irate. I ordered tires online and they were at my door by the 3rd business day where I waited a week with them. Seriously though the people I dealt with were extremely nice and helpful, one even asked if he could check my tires and plug them if thats what they needed. I declined because my tread is practically gone and I just wanted new tires at that point.Anyway, be patient with these guys, they are doing their best to help people. I wish I would have been more calm headed and I would have new tires by now but I didnt. Only the upset people leave reviews, if all the people that received great service left a review, this place would have at least 4.5 stars.Again, nice and polite people and thats what we need, rather than assholes like myself that felt that leaving a rude review would somehow make a difference.
Very slow those kids are idiots. I waited 3 hours for a simple alignment when they weren’t even busy. My truck was on the alignment rack the whole time with no one working on it. Hire some adults who know what they’re doing
I had a tire blow out on the highway and once it was replaced badly needed an alignment to continue my road trip. The manager understood my situation and was able to provide me fast service.
Timely & quality work- good edtimates for informed decisions.
I would give more stars, especially if my review was simply based on the service I received last night, this morning is a different story. The guys helped a lot last night by putting on my spare for no charge, and allowing me to leave my tire until this morning. However when I got there this morning to get my tire the guy just opened the door and said youre welcome to it ok?!?! No offer to help take it to my car? Im guessing it was because I didnt buy a tire from them well I couldnt buy a tire that they didnt have either. The guy went on and on they could get one from another store they couldnt do that last night and if you could do that and knew I was coming back then why didnt you have a tire there ready to put on the next morning? Poor customer service and dont be rude to customers when you dont have what they need, sorry about the fire, but thats not my fault, and neither is your merchandise stocking problem.
I had initially talked to a gentleman named Roy about my problem over the phone, I believe he was the manager. He was very patient and understanding. I was having an issue with my vehicle not wanting to start. After getting it jumped I drove up to Lakeside Firestone. The problem did not manifest its self while I was there, it started every time! However, Courtney and Camarin were very helpful and referred me to someone who specializes in things of the same nature my 2014 Ford Edge was displaying. The results of the charging system came back as good, (which did not help my peace of mind) but the best part was when Courtney informed me that since they could not determine the problem, there would be no $25 charge for the test......that made me feel better even though the problem had not been resolved. Why should someone have to pay for something, when it wasnt fixed? That is what you call great customer service! Keep up the great work Roy, Courtney, and Camarin!
Great service
It was the worst experience Ive ever had. Rude employees. First of I dropped my car off at 745-8am and the guy I talked to at the counter said the guy that does the inspections wont be there til 9am but they never told me this over the phone when i called a few days before my car was dropped off. So my car was sitting in the parking lot for almost a hour and a half til the inspecting guy got there and of course they had my number wrong in their system so I didnt get a call back from them letting me know what is wrong with my car until almost 11-1115. I called up there to check on my car and they told me that my back drums and shoes were completely worn out and they need to be changed and they told me that they were gonna check all my fluids before they hand my car back over to me so I said okay thank you. So they told me they were gonna put my old shoes and drums in my trunk, as soon as I went to go pick up my car I had spoken with the guy that helped me before and they charged me an arm and a leg for something they halfway did including checking all my fluids that they did not do at all. So me and my grandpa look at my old shoes and drums and 1 side was still good but the other side wasnt. But of course as soon as I get home my boyfriend checked all my fluids, tightened my break line that firestone was supposed to do but didnt and now I regret even letting firestone work on my car I should of went somewhere else. I will never go back for anything.
Very disappointed to learn that there was a 300% to 400% markup on a part that was replaced on my vehicle and to have the manager only respond with we have to make a profit was just not acceptable. I understand that you are a for profit business but this is ridiculous. You WERE my choice service provider but with markups like this I am forced to reconsider. Labor prices are already rigged and ridiculous in the auto industry. Smh.
I came in to see if they could put a power steering belt on my car as mine came off and had no power steering. Mark came over and said he needed to do a vehicle inspection to see if anything else was wrong. I said I didnt want or need that as I know what the problem is I have no power steering belt thats why I have no power steering. He said he would have to do one any way just to be sure. I dropped my car off shortly after 11am. I asked if he was too busy when I called prior to look at it and fix it and he said no since he had all day and they clised at 7pm. I called back after almost 3 hrs with not hearing from anyone and was told he was on lunch. When he finally called back he said he he wasnt going to put a $20 power steering belt on unless I did the complete system which would cost almost $800! This wasnt a recommendation but refusal to even attempt to help and thus send me back on the rode without even a p/s belt which at least would have helped a little until I could afford to fix the rest.Worse, while doing the vehicle inspection I never wanted like I told him, he broke the radiator neck and caused my car to start leaking coolant profusely! He then said I would need to pay him to fix the part He just broke! He didnt have enough integrity or ethics to say he accidentally broke or worse he did it intentionally because he is a crook and that is how he does business, by damaging peoples cars and then charging them to fix them! I have never ever had a coolant leak until he touched it, it just suddenly, mysteriously appeared, and Ive had this car several years, until this thief started unwantingly tampering with my car. I took it to another mechanic who confirmed he broke it and then tried to rig it with another clamp to hide what he did.Worse Still, he didnt even completely put my radiator cap back on or completely tighten my radiator hoses! Like he was wanting me to drive off so my coolant would all leak out which could blow the engine and refused to even put on a p/s belt so I had no power steering! And left a strand of p/s belt on for some reason which could have wrapped around other parts and did more damage, like that is what he wanted. He didnt even do the most basic of care, as mentioned above, which could have gotten me or someone else on the road killed and he didnt even care about that either. Not only was Mark incompetent but malicious who is a thief and a liar who tries to extort money out of customers by breaking their cars and then not only admitting it but trying to get them to pay for it. After calling several more times and getting the usual runaround about, your next, for 7 hours, I finally decided and picked it up at 6pm! I paid them for the damaging vehicle inspection and engine pressure test and not having them do any more work was the best decision I could have made. I wouldnt trust them as they might try to damage more parts and try to get more money out of you. NEVER GO THERE if you want an honest, ethical and competent mechanic!Ps I just spend $165 2 weeks prior and this is the way they treat paying unsuspecting customers. BUYER BEWARE!
Friendly staff and quick service. Very understanding of my car care needs and anticipated my questions.
Lifesaver every time I go to Firestone something is done wrong to my vehicle I have quit going now they need to put the wrong tires on it they do things to it that wasnt supposed to be done have to have it fixed again and again
Very friendly people I never had problem at this Location.
Cheers To Mr. Jarvis,(I didnt get his last name) at the Firestone on N May Avenue in Oklahoma City. His Phone Etiquette And Professional Customer Service was above and beyond. My daughter lives about 30 to 40 miles outside Oklahoma City, and had came to Okc for a tournament Saturday Morning. After the tournament she stayed the night, and When Time Came To Leave, Her Vehicle Wouldnt Start. Come To Conclusion, The Starter was bad. Now its 11:30 am and she has to be home by 1:00 for class. So I called and googled, to see what mechanic shops are available on Sunday morning. 3 Pep Boys and 3 Firestone Complete Auto Cares.I called (2) Pep Boys explaining situation and my daughters time schedule, but they had appointments scheduled within the hour to 2 1/2 hour time frame. Which wouldve gotten her into the shop to start servicing around 2 or 3. So I furthered onto calling Firestone, and Mr.Jarvis answered with fun and excitement in his greeting. I told him of my daughters delima, and that I am 5 1/2 hours away and her mom is 2 1/2 hours away and I need someone who can accommodate this non appointment situation. He to, informed me that they had an scheduled appointment coming in at noon. **me sighing now**But then he said, if you can get the vehicle to me now, (she was 3 miles away, per Google Maps), he would jump right on it and get her out, if no other issues occurs, by 12:45. **Thats what i needed to hear**But The Only Issue Was, He Couldnt Take My Credit Card For Payment Over Phone. Due To So Much Theft Nowadays. So back to 0 again....**again sighing**He Apologize, But Then he responded, Wait He told me that he could still assist me with that. All i had todo was goto any Firestone and have them verify my ID and My Card, Then he could take the phone payment. No Firestone open on Sunday where I Was, but it was where my wife was. So Again, He Went Above and Beyond. My Employment Is Servicing Clients Myself. And To Me, He Was Awesome!!! (As any parent would feel the same if their child is out of town somewhere, and have vehicle problems. Our Worry Level Exculates To The 10th Power)I Know This Is Long...But Again Thank You And God BlessFor Your Great Efforts!!!
Very friendly staff and work done in a timely manor.
Fare prices to the great costumer service and work they do.
Good in a pinch, but expensive and always scheduling issues... Sometimes sketchy quality
Terrible place to go to for car service .. they take so long no matter if you have an appointment or not. 1 hr wait if you have an appointment before they even get to your car. they totally dont care whats wrong with your car. i bought my tires from them. they are the worst tire place when it comes to help and customer service. if you plan on going to this store plan on bad service and leaving your car there all day.
They have always taken care of my car when needed. Little over priced, but great service
My wife went in for a flat tire and was told by Jeremy it could not be repaired, They charged her $213 for a tire that my local Firestone and Tires plus have for $125!!!! So I called up there to ask about this and Roy (who picked up the phone) said that they could not change the price of the tire even if he wanted to (thats a blatant lie by the way). Taking advantage of women and lying to customers is apparently how Lakeside Firestone does business, Embarrassingly enough it is also the location of Firestones corporate headquarters.
U know when u go here their doing it right
Good service! New tires are perfect
Play good job for a good price
Horrible customer service took 3 hours just for an hour change had some service work done here took a whole day plus half of other like that other guy said if you do service work be prepared to leave your car here for a whole day.
Good
Great guys
I am so tired
Great service
Great folks
