It was pretty good. Not many open spots though.
The people at the office and the maintenance are super nice and professional. The main issues are the abusive charges they make you pay moving out. I felt ripped off! They also have zero control about who comes inside the property. We had our car stolen from the parking lot and several neighbors said they had the cars broken in too. The constant work in the parking lots and garden was annoying too. Overall the apartment is OK for the price, except when you move out.
I lived here for a year and loved it! Ryan was amazing showing me the unit, maintenance was super quick and fixed everything and were also super nice!! I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a quiet and safe apartment complex! I loved living here and am so sad to be leaving.
We moved here on January and less than 2 months in, we had to deal with damages related to winterstorm. It went on for another four months and we dealt with inconveniences with the way contractors dealt as well (let’s not get into details). Lacy, the community manager, listened to all our rants, arranged what was necessary to comfort us, gave us regular updates about future events of maintenance. Today, we got an email with a thank you note and a compensation package. We are very happy to live in an apartment that cares so much about its residents and actually works hard to do what they can to make our apartment a home. Respects and thank you!
I lived at Montclair Parc for several years. There were some office changes but Celeste and Lacy were there the whole time I lived there and theyre AWSOME! They remembered me by name every time I walked in and always had a good attitude. The maintenance guys are all nice as well and speedily repaired anything Id asked. I ended up moving out of OKC but would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, clean, and quiet apartment.
The office girls are very nice, however the garbage service almost never took our garbage, the maintenance almost never helped us in a timely manner when we requested. The apartment we got was newly renovated with a broken cabinet door and residue all over the counter tops from installation and all ready a nick taken off of the side trim. There was already water damage and the carpets did not match. They almost never exterminated and because people move in and out so frequently, we got roaches a few times and we are very clean. The parking spaces were taken up by a maintenance mans 5 cars all of the time and we had to park way down in another buildings parking section. Once we moved out. The apartment charged us for extermination(even though we did not have bugs at the time of leaving and they had not exterminated in months), new carpet(which was left in perfect condition, and that counter top nick and cabinet door that was there when we moved in as well as cleaning. We payed many fees and a lot of money per month for services that were not consistent, an apartment with a nice facade but not a nice quality, and at the end of our time there, they ripped us off. Very displeased. We payed our bills on time and always were respectful. We were one of the only ones who picked up our dogs feces from the ground as requested. And still they charged us over $300 for the things mentioned above. Running housing like a business is not humane and the way this place is run, it will be ghetto in a short time and is already going that way. They tried to get as much money from us because they didnt put good quality things into the home to begin with so they charged us for a cheap renovation when they should not have gotten cheap formica counters to begin with. Again, when we moved in there was glue all over the counters which we could never remove. Very cheap, very greedy, and Im very displeased.
I really love Montclair Parc! Celeste is always kind and professional when I go into the office. Shes extremely knowledgeable about the apartments and cares a lot about the people who live here!Ive lived in several apartment complexes and this one really takes the most pride in their property and residents.
Ryan Bergman is hands down the best leasing consultant I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I were treated with so much respect and kindness. Ryan had information ready for us and made our move in process so smooth. Montclair Parc has been such a wonderful place to live and we’re thankful to have a hard working team.
RYAN is amazing!!!! I’m in the process of relocating. I’ve called Montclair Parc All apartments several times and always ask for Ryan. She is courteous, patient, professional and kind. Prior to ending the call Ryan, ensures all of my questions. More importantly, I never feel rushed. I’m am pleasantly surprised. Though I haven’t moved in “yet”, thanks to Ryan, I feel like I’m a member of the community already. I hope the level of customer care I have received is representative of the living experience I will have once I move in. Thank you Ryan, for making a stressful time bearable and for answering all my with questions with patience and professionalism!
Customer service was great at first, but then the issues came. Everything was asked last minute and they’d expect a quick response. Rent went up within the time we were able to get situated (a day) only to be told we couldn’t be accepted. We should have been told prior that our guarantor had to make 5x rent to be accepted as well. We currently pay $1150 to rent a house, but wanted to downgrade to an apartment. How is it easier to rent a house (through and agency) than an apartment? Wasted $150 for application fees.
When I was looking for a new apartment, Alisha was very helpful in helping me find one. She was really attentive and actually listened to me. I didn’t just feel like another number. I felt like a human. Thank you Alisha for doing such an amazing job!!!!
These apartments are so nice, and the grounds are kept beautifully. The staff at Montclair Parc are truly amazing! They have all been so helpful in many aspects of my move. I can’t thank them all enough!
For the short time that I have lived here, I must say I am EXTREMELY impressed by maintenance. My issues have not been anything major but Corey has been most helpful and very informative when he comes by to resolve the issue. He gets the job done very quickly and efficiently. Thank you Corey and Montclair Parc!
I recently moved into my new apartment at Montclair Parc. I love my apartment. There were a few issues that I thought should have been taken care of prior to my move in but they were all resolved very promptly. The grounds are beautiful and I feel very safe. Thank you to Ryan and the Maintenance Staff. I would like to add a commendation for Corey Jones. He had to come to my apartment twice today for repairs. He was very prompt and did an excellent job both times. One was my AC so I was very appreciative since it is still hot outside.
I really enjoyed living here, friendly staff. If I had a maintenance request it was always taken care of in a timely manner. One of the reasons I chose this apartment was I always felt safe coming home anytime of the day. That was extremely important to me when picking an apartment. Always meeting new people at the pool in the summer, great times :)
Despite the gorgeous apartment layouts and community. The staff is extremely amazing and truly cares for their tenants. I would definitely recommend Montclair to anyone.
The maintenance team at Montclair Parc exceeds expectations. They are quick to requests and emergencies no matter the time or day. Cory was especially helpful during a recent maintenance emergency I had during the holidays. Montclair Parcs maintenance team is the best around!
The staff at Montclair Parc is superb! Super responsive and helpful. Property is clean and grounds well kept. Would highly recommend!
I was assured that the apartments garage I wanted to lease would accomodate my vehicle. I specifically asked Celeste if it would and she promised me it was large enough. I was not allowed to see the apartment before move-in nor view the garage. When I came to move in, I discovered the garage was far too small and would not accomodate my vehicle. Montclair Parc refused to let me out of my lease and instead charged me $2400 to break the lease, despite lying and misleading me.
I live here. Its a nice place to live in a nice part of SW Okc.
A lot of money for faux entrance gates . They work most of the time but of limited value since only the entrances and the exits are gated. The rest of the property has no fencing or gates at all. Any Intruders cant steal your couch but they can take your wallet
Love our apartment home so far! Staff is friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable!
I would never refer anyone to move into Montclair Parc. They only care about the money and not the tenants. As a Si gale mom I needed to find something affordable and at the time it was. I am super disappointed they take on a bullying stance when residents decide to move out.I paid my deposits and I’m being charged for routine services before a new tenant moves in. No I don’t think so.In the beginning they were very nice but you learn that quickly it’s fake.I extended my lease for a few months and called in to cover myself and give a 60 day notice and was told I only had to give 30 days. Well I called and gave a 30 day as well to be told that I needed to give a 60 day..... my rent went from $786-1122 in a matter of 3 months. The appearance and staff were great in the beginning but when you give notice the attitude completely changes. I was paying for security when there was no security for over 8 months and there were car windows busted out as well as damage. We pay for a gym and that was closed for several months as well. Than we have to pay for a trash service when I was fine walking my trash 25 yards to the dumpster.Upon move in I was given an apartment with dirty, stained carpets and I said it’s fine but I will not be responsible for carpet when I leave as they were filthy to begin with. Suddenly I’m being charged for carpet and painting when it’s routine maintenance to repaint an apartment before a new tenant moves in as well as cleans over what you would clean. To charge for that is outrageous. I was charged for lease cancellation When not once did I cancel my lease. This is not just a case of me this is several other tenants I know personally that have dealt with these same issues. They are attacked and nickel and dimed for anything and everything. Save your money and look elsewhereI explained I was moving as I couldn’t afford to stay and was told it would be a shame to have an eviction on your record... I mean who says that.
I had the pleasure of visiting this apartment community and it is as beautiful in person as it is online. Ryan, the leasing agent...is phenomenal...very knowledgeable of her property. The manager celeste answered my initial call and was very friendly and asked all the right questions.
I was very disappointed in steadfast management. I would advise against living here as I do not believe they are dealing with people honestly. I am a professional who moved in while my kids completed the school year in another city, and as I wait for my house to be build in OKC.I choose Montclair Parc due to it’s proximity to my place of employment and because I liked the lay out of the Jefferson apartment. When I moved it, the place was anything but a luxury apartment. It looked like they moved in after a frat house was kicked out. The walls were riddled with poorly done patches, the metal doors had hundreds of dents and scratches, and the stains from water damage were everywhere. If I had not driven in from 2,000 miles away, I never would have rented this place. But I needed to live somewhere, and I’m not picky, so I stayed.I filled in the damage wavier saying the place was not in great condition, but did not write down every issue both because It would have taken weeks to finish the form, and I never thought they would hold me accountable for the preexisting damage. I am not sure how I could have done any more damage, especially since I only slept there, and was out of town for over a week each month. On the plus side, it is a gated community, although all others do is wait for the gate to open, then drive in. I did feel safe, but obviously others do not as both the front and back patio door (on the second floor) have two set of locks. If you decide to live here, fill out the damage report fully. But judging from my experience, I doubt you’ll get your security deposit back.
I am a current resident Ive Montclair Parc Apartments. Take it from someone how live here you do NOT want to live here. I am barely over a month into my lease there has already been a shooting here. A month and ten days in to my lease and Im already being harassed by Property Management. I have learn within 30 Days of signing in my lease that the property management and staff are two-faced Liars that will tell you exactly what you want to hear to pacify you. They will look you in the face with a smile and say anything to make you think this is a great place with nice people as they stab you in the back and liar to you. Example when I was checking them out as a potential place to live I had heard about parking issue and I asked them about that they said oh no there are no parking issues. Well that is a bunch of BS the parking is horrible here. They will harass you like them leaving a letter on my door about my balcony so talk to Neighbors that are violators of the balcony policy and they informed me they did not get no letter. So I ask the office about this and once again they lied to me and said that they are sending letters to every buddy. Take my advice and stay away.
I was a tenant with Montclair Parc Apartments for 2.5 years. In the course of that time, I never paid my rent late and I took immaculate care of the apartment. When I left the apartment, I left it very clean. When I approached Gabrielle, the office assistant manager about my circumstances; she showed me a great deal of compassion and stated that she would work with me. I was an honest tenant and I did not try to slip away in the night. The compassion that she showed me must have been a ruse; perhaps at the time that she was speaking to me, there was a prospective tenant at the other desk and her kindness was meant to impress them. I hadn’t left the apartment complex for 30 days and already the account had been turned over to a collection agency. Was this what she intended, when she said that they would work with me? I gave my 60 days notice to vacate the place on 6/6/2018. On the contract that I signed and received a copy of, it shows that I would only owe $1,260 + water; so the amount of money that they state that I owe now is a ridiculously inflated amount of $1,356 more. Are you going to try to tell me that the difference is in the amount of water that I used?
I lived therein 2015 and for 2 years and I loved it when I was there. the staff was really nice and it was a really nice and cleaned place and as a teenager it felt like home to me there because everyone that is there are really friendly. when I lived there I was in building 10. I want to thank the staff for making me feel like home and making this place a safe place for me. ( I wish I could move back, I miss it there )
The staff is nice enough. Our apartment faced incredibly bright lights behind the World Fresh international market. While the grocery store is closed, sports cars rev their engines behind the store and burn out their tires all night on Saturdays. Every time our lease expired they attempted to increase the cost of rent by over 15% of what we were currently paying, and we had to argue with them to get the cost down which was exhausting. The worst part was when we finally moved out they attempted to charge us for several fraudulent claims about damage to the home. They claimed we (after 5 years of residence) needed to pay 1100 to replace the counter tops in the home. They refused to give us evidence of why they needed replaced (theyre white linoleum counter tops, which anyone knows get moderately stained after normal living there.) My husband had images of our move out having videoed the entire apartment because they did not do a walk through with us.They refused to return our calls and eventually turned it over to collections despite our continued efforts to contact them. The home office claimed we needed to speak with the regional office and the regional office would claim we needed to speak with the home office and eventually both just stopped speaking to us or even attempting to resolve the issue.
What a great Multifamily property & exceptionally easy to do business with!
I have lived here at MP for a year and absolutely love it. As a Certified Trainer I genuinely appreciate their attention to any concerns that occur regarding the fitness room. Also, for my apartment repairs they have been very quick and attentive.
A couple of months ago, I wrote a review, concerning being overcharged, when I gave my 60 days notice and Celeste, the apartment manager responded with such duplicity of kindness that comes so natural to her. Do not trust her or Gabriel; because they will take advantage of you, if they can. For me, it was to the tune of $1,192! Celeste has refused to correct this. There are better places to live - Trust me.In response to the manager: That is a lie, when I gave my 60 days notice, you had my current phone number in your system and I gave my forwarding address to the manager staff, before leaving. I have not moved since then.
My boyfriend and I have lived here for about a year now. The front staff are very friendly and professional. Maintenance team is amazing. We called because our AC wasnt functioning properly and the maintenance team fixed it the very next day. The only downside is that they dont accept packages so we have to go out of our way to pick up any packages that do not fit in our mailbox. Other than that, its been wonderful living here and calling Montclair Parc our home.
Its a nice and comfortable apartment complex.I was there for the last one year and everything went smoothly.I hardly had any problems. Even if a problem pops, they send maintenance to fix it the same day.The staff are friendly and helpful. As someone mentioned below about Automatically sending any owed money to collections with no call or email.I was not comfortbale with that, so I talked to the apartment management (Assistant Manager: Gabrielle Johnson) and she went an extra mile and helped me overcome that.I got the final amount due before sending to collections.Of course I am supposed to pay off the same day (I do everything Online) and it was fine with me. I was happy without having to deal with collections.Overall, I was happy with my stay there & Thanks to the management team.
Overpriced....dogs running loose
Love these apartments. Quiet and clean and l our neighbors have kids and havent had a problem. The staff is amazing and really considerate. Im glad we moved here.
Great place to live. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Four stars only because there is not a tennis court in the complex. I will move if I find a similar place with a tennis court. Seriously there is plenty of space for a tennis court
The staff were friendly and the apartments and grounds were well maintained. I enjoyed my time there. When I left the apartments at the end of my lease agreement; however, when I paid my last weeks rental payment, I had to pay an estimated amount or, as they told me it will automatically be sent to collections. So I paid additional money to cover my water bill and the rent. The water bill was mysteriously twice the normal amount. Strange since I was actually not using as much water. When I did the walk through, I was told there would need to be some repairs. I asked the amount that it would be, but they would not give an amount. Just we will bill you the amount at the new address. When I received the statement it was not from the apartment, but from a collection agency. They sent the amount owed to collection to lower my credit score!Because the apartment managers did not collect additional funds to use as a deposit, I had to pay a full additional months rent while I was trying to pay my months rent on a new house. The rent that is paid for having a pet DOES NOT cover anything regarding repair for pets.Even though the apartments were nice, I would hesitate to recommend them based on their poor management. I believe it is best to be honest and get at least 1/2 month rent to use as a deposit, especially if you are going to always send to collections immediately. I paid my rent as I agreed to, and my thanks is to have my credit score lowered. You would by wise to continue to look at other apartments to compare and ask for details about how they handle their final billing.
Not happy with the porch rules. Been here for a few years. Wish I didn’t renew my lease.
The apartment itself was spacious and clean, but little things would break just as it would in my much cheaper apartment. The office employees were easy to work with except for one, who harassed us throughout our entire stay. I have never had to deal with such unprofessional attitude. Her actions alone made us leave half way through our lease because we were treated so poorly. I will never lease with this management company again, and will be advising everyone I know to do the same.
Great apartment complex. Great friendly staff, and affordable living. Love living here
I lived here for a bit. I understand we are under new management. I called for security the other night and they no longer use their service, but the sign on the gate says otherwise. The pool area is horrible there were people smoking, people with glass containers, people bathing their dog in the pool. Its obvious New Management do not take their job seriously or care about the community theyre supposed to run.
Never had an issue that wasn’t resolved quickly and professionally. Maintenance is the best of any complex I have ever stayed at.
Nice place kinda hard to navigate at night .
The girls that work here leave the good reviews.Nothing good about this place
Office staff are rude and unprofessional. I had to call maintenance every month because something was always broken. Paid extra for a garage but it was broken for 2 months. Ac broke but thr office manager said it was working. They finally fixed it. Ac didnt work in master bath and bedroom. My light bulbs went out every 2 weeks because of electric issues. The apartment also have mice issues. Not worth the money
You never really know how good an apartment complex is until you have a problem..mine is with noisey upstairs neighbors. Ive lived here for a few years and have had many neighbors with kids but these neighbors have been the noisiest. I think the security people are starting to ignore my calls. Nothing seems to get done and nothing seems to help whether its calling the office or the patrolled security. So now unfortunately I have to wait until my lease is up to move just to get away from these damn neighbors
I would highly recommend to stay away they will be more of a nuisance than a insecure home owner renting there home. staff is very rude and inconsiderate.
There is a lot of field and not a lot of park essentials for children very disappointing
Great employees and have been so helpful and nice to my husband and I
The managers here and the women at the front desk are the most professional and nicest complex management team Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you 😉
Nice and clean
Beware of renting here. My daughter had to end her lease early due to health issues that required her to quit her job and come to live with me in another state, but they did not care and have charged her several thousands of dollars. She was in very ill health and we tried to explain to them but they didnt care. They rented her apartment but are still charging her for her lease. We also had the apartment cleaned and they charged her a cleaning fee.
Ive only been a resident for a week, but the staff has been extremely helpful in getting everything in the apartment fixed and redone right. Initially the carpet on the stairs leading down to the garage was stained and smelled horribly like cat, which made me gag. couple days later they were ripping the carpet out and replacing it for me.My apartment came with new carpet, new paint, some new appliances and fixtures, and was very clean. Neighbors seem to be quiet and respectful.Best of all these apartments are 1 block from qdoba, right next door to a nice park and elementary school, right next to a Homeland, couple blocks from Crest and a new Walmart being built, Gas station on the corner, and much more. Location is perfect.
Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.Non professional staff. Very very VERY disappointed
Poorly managed complex, will nickel and dime you for anything because they cant fill units. Automatically sends any owed money to collections(iq data, equally incompetent) with no call or email. And will try to steal your deposit without adding it to what you owe.
I apoligize i was confused which was montclair
I lived here for a little bit until I found bed bugs, apparently other apt units had them too. One bad thing about bed bugs is, you cant really get rid of them... You just have to move.
Wonderful staff, so kind and caring! Definitely recommend this community to everyone!
Great place to live and reasonable. Good location and the staff are very friendly.
Great management and really nice aparments!!!!
If your plan is to always stay here and never move. Your fine. They lock you into a lease. And you have to give 60 day notice. It is very hard to look for a place 60 days in advanced. It is imposible to find a place to move to that will wait 60 days before you can move in. I was one day late bc of a holiday i wasnt able to get my check cashed on the day rent was due. They will charge you a 98 dollar fee.(they did work w me prior bc of my traveling for work. Helped me twice and waived my fee.) They did work w me on this a few times. Which i am well pleased with.I have been told when you move. They will keep your deposit and when you ask how much they will not tell you. You will get the bill after. my lease is coming up. So this is intimidating knowing i may not get my deposit back.I really enjoyed living here for the most part. Janet i would like to see get promoted to manager. I think i would enjoy my stay here and renew my lease. She is understanding, and have never seen anyone that puts the time in for her residents as she does. She really goes over and beyond!! She is the only reason i have stayed as long as i have! I am sad to see w all the work she has put in. She has not been promoted. So.. I am very unpleased to see this. When she stays in the office working more hours than i see anyone do! Not uncommon to see her helping someone after business hours!. They get you at the end of your lease. That is why i am giving them a one star. Also pigeons mess all over your porch. They do have problems w the pigeons using the bathroom all over your deck. They do not attemp to fix anything about that. It is on the tenant. When i moved in. My door was all scratched up when i moved in. And has not been replaced or painted. The parking area does not have cameras on it. The gate is open often. Allowing anyone to enter. Durring the symmer the gates was closed to enter the pool bc of people vandalizing. The gym.. all the machines do not work except the treadmill. Free weights are damaged. Need to be updated. Need to have assinged parking but do not. You are not guaranteed a parking place which you may have to park further from your apt.Pros: They do have quick maintance. They do make sure to fix any issues quickly.. It is quiet. Is gated and havent seen any rift raft. I didnt care for the manager here. She will be leaving and getting another manager. So i will soon see how things get better. For the most part. I enjoyed living here do to the little issues. I dont like how they lock you in. And how expensive it is to get out of a lease early if needed. It is rediculous!Things i would like to see changed is if a circumstance happens and you have to leave earlier than u plan. To make things more affordable. The computers for the business center needs updated. System is from back in the 90s.
Nice community
One Star not to the amenities, but to the OFFICE STAFF, rude, lack of knowledge, If you want to renew your contract be careful, theyre very tricky in order to charge more for not renewing (CHEATERS).
Nice complex with good amenities.
Nice
