I have had the pleasure of having Matt as a personal trainer twice! He has helped me come back physically after having a baby. Now, he is helping me ramp up my fitness by helping me focus on form, providing me with workouts that hit my target areas, and teaching me new and safer ways to perform exercises. Its so helpful to have someone trained watching your form to prevent injury. His knowledge on self-care, fitness and nutrition is critical to keeping me on track during the week. He listens to my goals, modifies workouts to my ability and challenges me.Not only are Matts workouts effective, but its always fun to hang out with him. Its working out with a friend and cheerleader! Workouts arent supposed to be boring. I look forward to our weekly time together - talking fitness and life! And if you have kids, Matt is so good with them too. My 4 kids frequently interrupt our session, and Matt has always been so kind to them. I love the convenience of working out at home while getting all of the benefits of a trainer! Thanks so much, Matt, for being a part of our fit family!

Matt is a great motivator and truly passionate about what he does. I am 56 years old and have never really exercised before. I dont feel comfortable going to a gym, so the fact that Matt was willing to come to my home made me give this a try.I knew right away that he was someone I would enjoy working with. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and not judged. He is a true professional, really cares, and manages to keep it challenging and fun at the same time.For the first time I felt motivated to make some real changes in my life. 6 months later I am in better shape than when I was 40, I am losing weight, and am successful in quitting a 42 year smoking habit. WOW!!!Matt has been there every step of the way supporting and mentoring me through this all. Every time I felt like throwing in the towel he was there to remind me how far I have come and why I need to keep going.He is very intuitive, and expert in keeping my spirits up and my motivation strong. Matt helped me out with my 2 boys while playing High School sports with their nutritional needs while going between football and basketball seasons. Matt guided my boys in the right direction with detailed outlines of what would work best for them both in training and nutrition. He is a great guys who cares a lot about his clients success while educating them along the way!
Matt really enjoys his job as personal trainer. He comes prepared with a lesson plan for the goal of my fitness needs. He is willingly to alter the plan if my physical needs are not ready but always gives me the plan on how we will achieve that goal later. He is very pleasant, personable and adds humor to the fitness work time so that it distracts me and time just flies by! He challenges me to strive for the smallest goals and in the end I can achieve the big ones! I really enjoy working with Matt and would highly recommend Lake Country Training!
Matt designed several workouts for my athlete son that utilized the equipment we already here at home. He took my son through each workout, customizing it based on his needs and preferences, and making sure my son was using the proper techniques to avoid injury. Matt provided a write-up of each plan for easy reference going forward.

The Training/Routine’s that Matt has either showed me or worked with me on, I have never seen with other trainers. He’s a great motivator, and sets goals that are achievable which are key to sticking with your training and transformation. Matt is very professional, knows how to work with all body types!!
