My hair dresser is Kim Reese.. Shes absolutely one of the sweetest people Ive ever known. She listens to what I want and that means alot to me. She is amazing with color and high lights. I feel so comfortable when Im there. I love that I can get my nails done, get waxed or a facial all in one place. All in all, I love Sola Salon. Ive never seen anything like it.

The beauty spaces are fully equipped and just beautiful! My stylist is Michala of Complete Look by Michala, studio #27 and will be replacing my regular stylist after my visit today. She is a true pro and knows her styling and hair care.

I went in with a clear image in my head of what I wanted. But Im no fool-Ive been burned before by salons and I also had several photos of the exact shade I wanted my hair to be. Very Gwen Stefani bleached blonde. Kimberly explained it would take two sessions to achieve the color-but that the first session would leave me with cool blonde highlights and would be a much lighter color than it was when I came. She even showed me photos of what my hair should look like after the first session. Gorgeous ash blonde highlights mixed with my natural dirty blonde hair.The appointment was scheduled to take three hours. SIX hours later I was almost in tears by the time she started to blowdry my hair. It was almost ten oclock at night and I needed to get home. Also, the whole time I was there she wouldnt let me see my reflection-she even put a bag over my head when I went to the bathroom and instructed me not to peek. I obliged but will never be duped again.Three hundred dollars and six hours is how much it cost and how long it took to bring my hair color to the ugly orange blonde color it is today. I cried, even she cried. She said she shouldnt have promised to make it a certain color and she should have managed my expectations better. She still wanted full payment though. The entire thing left me with an awful hair color and now Im more gunshy than ever to go to a hair salon.
