I went in to Creative Stylz for a simple mid fade. Sounds simple, I even showed the barber (Daniel) a picture and he totally destroyed everything, the worst decision I made, so I will never let him cut my hair nor my son’s hair.I went in and Daniel was available, I told him what haircut I wanted. I realized something wasn’t right the way the blade kept clipping my hair, when I looked at the completed hair cut it was a disaster, it looked like a bowl cut with no fade.I told him to fix it, he couldn’t do that, he kept fidgeting with the clippers, total amateur! I told him to just stop, I will go home and finish it myself.Ok so no dusting the hair off, didn’t even bother to sanitize with rubbing alcohol or clean where he tried to edge my hairline, then charged $25 for an incomplete haircut that left me looking like a dork.Anyone that wants a good haircut should avoid Daniel. Worst experience ever. Until my hair grows back I have to look at the B.S this unexperienced, amateur barber did to my hair.

Well I should have asked before I paid please dont take this the wrong way its not about the money its about facts in my eyes I wear my hair natural because its better for my hair and should be cheaper ija since I didnt get any chemicals so no product used I didnt get shampooed thats no product used or cut oops I did and got charged for a full hair cut and got less than half cut now lets at for the style say 25 a hour ijs ummmm things that make you go ummm is all I can say dont get me wrong I love your work just over pricedthank you💜PS: I can take it from here😏

I have been back and forth with barbers in Oceanside for awhile now. I love supporting black owned businesses. I have taken my sons to Creative Stylez before but havent been able to commit myself to one shop because different barbers have different ways of doing things. I am hard to please when it comes to getting my sons haircut so in order for me to go back, I have to find the right barbers. Today I think I have. Damian and Clutch has done a wonderful job with my sons hair. Damian was very patient with my son all the while my son was being very fidgety in his chair. Clutch was awesome with my oldest, he gave my son pointers on how to achieve the desired look that my son has been wanting. Bishop has been there for years and knows what to do when I walk in there. So thank you all so much for being skilled in your craft. I will be back. Not to mention, that this is the only black owned barbershop shop in Oceanside that is most affordable when it comes to cutting kids hair. It also pays to know that these three are knowledgeable in their skill.

Anthony the barber is the person who cuts my hair at this establishment. ALWAYS AN I MEAN ALWAYS. Great to go to this barbershop. Its fun informative and YOU GET A GREAT HAIRCUT as well. I actually move to San Diego which is approximately 30 minutes drive away. Yet I have not found a barbershop nor a barber that is consistently outstanding in giving a haircut plus have such an enjoyable place to go there. This is the epitome of what a GREAT BARBERSHOP should be.

Always clean, respectful, and the hospitality is preeminent. Never have to wait long and LJ takes good care of my son. Will continue to return‼️

Great family barber! Go see Tyson. He is reliable, quick, and treats you as a guest in his home. Ask him for a little design for your young one. There is nothing that a barber does that he cant do. Ask him to show you different styles of cuts if you are feeling a little brave. He will not disappoint!

Shout out to Soukay the stylist who braided my hair. She specializes in African braiding, weaves, twists, and crocheting... the only thing she does not do is relaxers. I was a little apprehensive at first because she wasnt there when I arrived. However I do understand things can happen to make you a little late. There was a caucasian lady waiting to get her hair weaved and I could tell she was a regular client which means the shop can style all races and all hair types. I was really surprised how gentle and how fast Soukay finished my hair. When making an appointment be specific on which stylist you want to do your hair. My niece had an appointment to get conrows and I was surprised to learn another stylist did her hair. It still looked good but I should have been more specific if I wanted Soukay. The shop is clean with up to date decor. It is also a fairly large barbershop too. I would recommend the shop to my friends and family... Actually I already did.

Soukaye has braided my hair on several occasions. I would consider myself a regular. She does wonderful styles and it last a long time. People compliment how neat and professional my hair always looks. With previous braiders, my hair would start to fall out around the edges. My hair healthy and growing. She also does excellent weaves. I would highly recommend Soukaye.C~

I went on Friday to get my hair braided by Soukaye and there was another girl there by the name of Maira who did not tell me that she was not Soukaye. This was my first visit and I had three pictures of the style that I wanted that included the back,front,and the side. Maira did total opposite of what I wanted, not only that I told her the style was way too tight while she was braiding my hair and she told me that it was because I have not had my hair braided in a while and the pain would leave in two days. Today is day two and I have been taking aspirin for the last two days. Not only that but my scalp is bleeding!!!! I called Maira begging her to fix it or give me my refund for $240. Which is way too much for French braids. I called and asked for the price before hand but she would not give it to me. She charged me $10 per bag of hair and she did not use it all. This experience was the worst. My scalp is vleeding, I did not get the hair style I requested, and I was seriously overcharged. Please please make sureservations if u go here u areally not lied to and u have the price before hand. I have attached photos of what I asked for, what I got instead, and my raw scalp. The focus is not strong enough to see the blood at the root of my hair follicles.
