If I could give them 0 stars I would. I waited I called 3 times to try to get a tech out at my house as the service has to be rescheduled. 3 weeks later I still did not get a return phone call. The next time I called I was told a supervisor would call me. 4 business days later I still did not receive a call from the supervisor. This company has poor communication with its clients. Please dont use them.

**EDITED TO ADD** -- The company responded and said they would be reaching out to try and make this right. But one week later, and no one reached out. Its just lip service for the review. **This company is not respectful of customers time off work waiting for appointments.First, be aware that outside services are separate from inside services. That is not a big deal, except it means scheduling and being home for multiple appointments - the initial sales/inspection appt, the inside appt and the outside appt, plus the subsequent followups.The inside was scheduled for the next day at 9am and when no showed up by 9:20 I called and was told he was on the way. Ok, delays happen. The tech who came was polite and professional.The outside team took more than a day to even call me back and schedule an appointment. The inside was treated and done before outside even called back - this is not an effective approach to controlling fleas. Because the appts were not coordinated, and separated by days, all the outside fleas can still be finding their way indoors. My outdoor appt was for 8am-9am. So I stay home that morning and wait. 9am rolls around and no one is here. Again.I call and wait on hold for over 10 minutes and then am told the tech was double booked and it will be another hour! They knew the tech was overbooked and did not have the courtesy to call me?!?! Or was I not even in the schedule and they were trying to squeeze me in? Either way, its not professional and not a reflection of a company that cares about customers and respects our time.I was not available to wait another hour. I cancelled the appointment and am using a local pest control guy recommended by my neighbor.

I’m a single, young woman who owns a home. I have had an issue with roaches since I bought in 2015 (like finding 50 live ones in my bathtub or scattered throughout my home, crawling across me in my sleep). I have called the Ocala branch numerous times with the complaint. They would send someone out and they wouldn’t listen to my concerns, tell me “well they’re dead” or my personal favorite “impossible”. They told me it was an uncovered pipe; I covered the pipe. Any excuse they gave me I had it taken care of. I finally asked my father to speak on my behalf because I felt they weren’t taking me seriously. He went to their office and within the hour the supervisor had several technicians at my house suggesting multiple solutions. At the time I was just thankful for help and a solution. The solution worked for a year. So I was happy. Since that solution I had several technician changes - when they would call before my quarterly service I would explain my situation to them. They would once again dismiss my requests and advise a “better” solution. My husband and I returned from our honeymoon on a Monday to 50 live roaches in the guest bathroom. I called Florida Pest Control immediately and asked to speak with the supervisor who was so helpful with my father. I told I would receive a phone call that afternoon. I didn’t. Tuesday I had my husband call and request help again to which the receptionist made the statement, “Oh is this the ant house again?” she told him we would receive a phone call that evening. We did not. Needless to say, I am cancelling their service and I highly suggest you do the same or think twice before hiring them to take care of your pests. Thank you.

I have a mice problem. They had no problem taking $700 and now I cant get phone calls returned, youre lucky if the tech even shows up. I literally called to have dead mice removed from under the trailer. I never got a call back and when I contacted a supervisor the tech (Hunter) arrived without the equipment to get under the trailer. THATS WHAT THE SERVICE CALL WAS FOR!!!! Oh and he said he didnt call me back because he was on vacation. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I regret using this company and would never recommend them to anybody. What am I supposed to do?? Hire another service? After Florida Pest Control took $700... Ive had to do most of the removals myself. What a waste of money. And thats just one horrible experience Ive had with them... its been ongoing since the beginning. Ive been waiting for it to get better, but thats not the situation.

She didn’t cut me off and really just allowed me to vent to her! Debbie also gave me some great tips and pointers regarding my issues! I thank God for people like Debbie in this world! Used Florida Pest Control awhile back & than moved to Citrus County. Then moved back to Marion Cty & used another pest control co. Had to call to them & remind them Im due for another pest control, also had fire ants & called Florida Pest Control as well as the the other company I used & Fl Pest Control responded quickly & got rid of them. The other Co., called for me to renew & I decided to use Fl Pest Control. Trever was my tech & was very professional & got the job done. Thank you Florida Pest Control you are the best!!!

We sold our home last year but Florida Pest continues to send us mailings about renewing our policy. I have called them repeatedly requesting to be removed from all their mailing lists. The last time I thought Id finally succeeded when the lady asked if we owned the home. I told her we no longer owned it. Each time I call Im told they will remove us from their mailing list. Today we received yet another renewal notice.

Customer service was nice Matt was nice but they just tore my driveway lights out and broke them and left them laying to the side like they were nothing to them and be we even said said anything. Im sorry it may not be your stuff but my stuff means sometjing to me and my bathroom and bedroom floor was so dirty with dirt and mud all over it. Thats not very professional im my eyes

This is my personal experience with this company and i truly hope yours is different and better but mine is not good first of let me start by saying i was a customer for several years but red flags should have told me to stop using this company years ago 1st issue i had was signed up for both termite plans for over 350.00 dollars a year on the initial treatment the technician pulled up to my house sat in his truck for approximately 10 minutes never got out to treat house i have cameras at my house so after reviewing cameras and seeing how i just got charged and he did not even get out of his truck i called my sales rep Pete T and he sent the technician back to my house to actually perform his job and the service i was billed for so if i did not have cameras i would have never known and paid for nothing that was the 1st red flag and i should have cancelled then but like i stated i was a customer already for years so i overlooked it at that time but now the 2nd and last red flag was they sent out a technician to do a quarterly service they sent out a new technician he walks in and states to me what am i supposed to do i was like huh i dont know why are you asking me so since the 1st red flag when there technician did not even get out of his truck i said to current technician that not to spray i will call and reschedule with a technician that knows the job and what to do so i called spoke to A Henry he stated some one would come out to take care of my service the following week they never showed up several months later i called looking to find out why nobody had showed up and was told by same person Henry I dont know why or what happened to me last straw in my eyes this company has employee issues and for that reason i no longer use this company A customer has a certain expectation when hiring a company and they fell way short now dont get me wrong we are all human and make mistakes but all this company had to say was we apologize we will send someone over as soon as possible but they didnt nobody ever apologized or gave an explanation of what happened until i called corporate office spoke to a very nice gentleman he did apologize to me i feel this company has let me down more than once i originally gave this review 1 star but after further thought i will give it 3 because the gentleman in corporate apologized and understood my disappointment and i was a customer for several years .

Signed up in July. Was supposed to be getting interior and exterior/lawn protection. Paid over 500 dollars for it. So far nothing has happened. The inspector did spray the inside really well. Never had any follow up with the ext/lawn crew. I have an 8 ft fence around the back of my yard. It is NOT easy to get thru unless you know how. Was approached by another company and my yard man about my really bad insect grass killer. It was obvious what they were talking about. I called FPC and asked why I had these bugs and was told yes I do have a contract but don’t know much else. I hired the company to do my lawn. The FPC told me they would send an inside man. And the next day he called off of work. Haven’t heard anything since. I would not recommend FPC at all

My first review was negative, because I waited for someone who did not keep the appointment. He called and apologized and was prompt for the next appointment. Matt is courteous and explained everything clearly for me. Although they were originally at the bottom of my list, they are now at the top.

The guy nvr calls just shoes up when he want to. & we call & told them to call before hand & still does not listen & when they show up they dont even treat in side my house only side thens leaves

I’ve used these guys for a couple months and they got rid of my roaches very quickly. I strongly suggest these guys, the managers there are great as well. Along with the office staff and the techs are so nice when they come out and about doing their jobs

Rude receptionist. They are all about getting you to sign up for service and then after they get you as a customer, it’s impossible to get them to come out between treatments like they promise you they will. I have been calling all week and still no return call. Go with someone else!Edit: President called and made things right. I will give them another chance since we did notice that all of the bugs were coming out and dying so it was effective, we may just need follow up treatments.

Ive been with them for close to 15 years now and am pleased with the prices and service. Chris Hazel has been my guy the past few years and he always does a great job. I would strongly recommend giving them a chance to be your service provider when it comes to pest control.

DID bed bug treatment they never shoe up on time for 3 times. after 3 treatments they said they cant find any. last week saw 3 bed bugs called the office they said they will call to schedule one week later nobody called called again sent me to voice mail . i called again ask for the manager on duty nobody available they are on the field.they called back they said need to charge 270$ .

Dad had this service at the house until he passed. He was pleased with them, so when I started noticing bugs, I restarted the service. Two years later, bugs are as bad, if not worse. I gave them my cell number as contact, they still call the house. Ive asked them to schedule for late A.m. because I work 2nd shift, he shows up at 8:30. And now they have increased the price. Nope. No more. Oh, and when I called to cancel service? Transferred to quality assurance. Leave voice mail, but no call back to verify. Done.

I must say ive tried a few companies in Ocala but Florida Pest Control management team has always listened to any concerns ive had and reacted timely. No one is perfect but how they handle their customers is pretty darn close. I dont feel like a number with this company!

Florida Pest Control exceeds my expectations every time they visit. They offer to spray the RV and shed at no charge. They check the little black rodents boxes ( I live in the county) and Rebait and have installed rodent fencing ( my description, not there’s) around the house. Ask for Claude to do your service as I highly recommend him. asset to the company .Update : I hope someone in management reads this, It’s a real pain that I can’t be notified a week in advance of the appointment. I MUST BE HOME as I have an elderly mother that gets SCARED when the techs show up.I usually get a voice mail from both the lawn and house tech the day before a visit. The recording will say something like “” this is Florida pest control, I’ll be at your house tomorrow between 11am and 2pm.If I’m not home I’m letting letting them on the property. I actually find it disrespectful to be giving a 24 hour notice. Please notify me at least a week in advance of your visit or your tech will be sent awayJohn Coyne

Too expensive. I could do it myself, using the same chemicals they use, but the convenience overrules that.Their billing department needs some work. I would think that a company as large as this would be able to at least get billing right.I pay a year in advance and I STILL get a bill on my door after service.$75 to come out and spray and wipe away some spiderwebs?

I was behind on my account then brought it back current after that i wanted to restart service. At this time i was told that i would have someone come out on the following monday no one came. Customer service is horrible. I call on Wednesday to get someone to come to my home for roaches. She said service man was currently with another customer and as soon as he was finished there hed call. I got a return call late Friday and he said hed come on Monday at 9:30. Well, its Monday at 2:15 and no service man showed. I called at 11AM and left message for him to call me when he was done with his current customer, Im still waiting. At 3PM I am calling office one last time to tell them to cancel any appointment that may be set up for me because I am going to call their competitor to come and do their job. I will never use this company again.
