Excellent gym with a very positive family atmosphere. The type of place with thousands of members but they still know your name when you walk in. Various equipment that is always up kept. Smells great, nice and cool. All-inclusive recovery area. Smoothies are awesome. The staff is friendly and their multitude of trainers can help you accomplish your goals!

The best gym in Ocala, by far! Staff is super nice and always greets with a smile and “How are you?” You can tell the staff really cares about their members! They are quick to help and give great customer service! And just to make it better, the gym is super clean! Overall a great place to be a member of.

The facility is very accommodating. The price is great as well. My only complaint is that Im not sure when they are billing me and it appears that I always have to receive a text about my payment being due. Apart from that; this gym is wonderful. I at one point loved this gym until today. When they took out an extra 30.00 this month from my account without notice and then told me that it was because of COVID. Really?! Then I’m going to need for them to stop watering down the solution to spray the machines down since I have to pay extra.

This is a great gym! The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. The workout area is large and spread out with a crazy amount of machines and equipment. The locker room is spacious, clean, and even has a hot tub, sauna, steam room, and hydromassage bed!The list of group classes always looks like tons of fun (I havent tried one yet) and it seems fairly easy to sign up for one of those or a one-on-one session with a trainer.Most members are nice enough to clean their machines after use, but the staff does clean sweeps periodically. So thats a nice comfort!Membership cost is very reasonable, and there are different levels to choose from. Sessions with a trainer are a little pricey but you definitely seem to be getting what you pay for.Check it out!

I recently injured my left ankle severely training for WingScout SF training. This exceptional man has cared for me all week and made sure my quality of comfort and training have been top-tier. He has excellent communication skills, customer service abilities, and relatability with customers. Banaja is a really cool guy and a great hardworking individual. Changed gyms about two months ago. As a new gym goer I walked in and was immediately overwhelmed but as soon as I completed my 5 day free pass I knew this was the gym for me. Every day I walk in and I am greeted by multiple staff whom all know me by name . There are copious cleaning stations for people worried about germs etc. Matter of fact almost every machine that I see has its own personal spray bottle on it. The building is very clean at all times and the staff there are constantly wiping machines down when not in use. Friendly/Motivational staff are a staple here and im proud to be a member here.

Starting out at 315 pounds, and heading into a gym, is not emotionally easy. Truthfully its not physically easy either..However, the staff at Zone Health and Fitness quickly made it clear that once I open the door, I am stepping into a NO JUDGMENT zone! I strut my full bodied self straight to the back and begin my workout with Tanner. I dont feel any eyes on me...this is good, I feel comfortable.. I am greeted with kindness on my way in, and on my way out. Listen, 3X is not what it used to be, but thats OK because I dont count on squeezing myself into this size for long.I feel pumped with enthusiasm and I truly have a Support system here. Being from Ocala, I’ve been to about every gym the city has to offer. The Zone has been the best quality, by far. The equipment is top tier, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the fuel zone is phenomenal and their leadership seems to be high quality. I spoke with Ben (the owner) about getting a couple pieces of equipment and some grips for certain machines. Literally within 10 minutes of the conversation he had placed the order. They care about their members and do everything to keep us happy. Couldn’t ask for a better gym!!

Ive been a member at Zone since 2018 and had to cancel my membership due to my recent move and Im honestly so sad! Its going to be hard to find a gym that lives up to the expectations Zone has set. You really cant beat the range of equipment, classes and amenities they offer and they are always improving and adding new things here and there. The staff is wonderful too...always friendly, kind and knowledgable. It was truly my happy place. Management really goes out of their way to care for the well-being of its members and help you reach your gym goals. If I ever return back to Ocala I wouldnt even hesitate to sign up again! Highly recommend to any and all who are looking for a quality gym in the area :)

I have been a member for about 3 years now and have never had a complaint. The facility is top notch and the staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions that I may have. Since reopening after the shutdown, I constantly see staff wiping down equipment and sanitizing all surfaces. I smile when I see them walk through in teams of two, with one person spraying down the equipment with a weed sprayer full of disinfectant, while the other follows behind wiping everything down. It is constantly happening and a familiar site these days which is much appreciated. Great place, great staff and rapidly adapts to these ever changing times that we are in.

I love the Zone. Its the only gym with a heavy bag for boxing. I was a trainer in Palm beach county for 6 years, working at all the gym there & the Zone is as good as any of them if not better. Staff is great.

The staff always greets me and my child when we enter. The childcare staff take such great care of my baby while I exercise. The group exercise instructors are always pushing me to challenge myself.

Id give them zero stars if I could. I put a hold on my account starting in December and they misplaced the paperwork. They have charged me for two random months DURING a pandemic - part of which their building was BOARDED UP and closed!! The other thing - we ended a six month session of personal training in December and paid for it but was billed randomly for $360 in March and they WILL NOT REFUND THE CHARGE! They keep running me around in circles and blaming everyone else. They have fraudulently charged me three times. Two of the $69 charges they refunded, and the $360 is still on my account with excuse after excuse that their billing department - which is a lady in the back room, still hasnt gotten back to them. I think I will have to take them to small claims court to get my a refund for this! I was on the phone while they were talking to other customers on the phone for fraudulent charges as well. Very unprofessional. Charged in March and still getting excuses in July!

Made our visit so worthwhile and special. If I lived in Ocala, FL I would come here full time. The people and staff are wonderful, courteous and skillful.

The gym is very clean & well maintained. Lots of equipment and lots of extra “features” such as large variety of classes, smoothie bar, meal prep service, steam room, CrossFit, etc. Zone is always working to grow & improve the facility for the members. Employees are always very friendly & helpful.

I moved to Ocala in March of 2020, right before the quarantine. As soon as things opened up, sometime in early July, my daughters and I came to check out Zone Health and Fitness and were so impressed with all of the cleaning protocols they have in place that allowed them to not only be open but to offer group exercise, too -- which we love! (So we joined!) In fact, I loved the Body Pump classes so much that I became certified in the fall and am now teaching there, too! Shoutout to Abby Culp who was the first to welcome us and show us around the Zone - the club is lucky to have such a warm and welcoming greeter! Ive been a member of many different fitness centers in NC, GA, and AL, and ZHF is by far the one that stands out from all the rest across the board.

The facility is great but the customer service is poor as we have been trying to cancel our member ship and they tell us it is and continue to bill us monthly. The staff is rude over the phone at times ( I get it it’s difficult because we are trying to cancel while out of state) but after being told it was taken care of over the phone 🤷🏼‍♀️ And managers not returning calls, that’s just unprofessional.

Love this place. Absolutely feels like the hometown gym versus the other corporate gym that has come to town. The owner knows his guests and is often seen on the floor greeting and chatting with his patrons. Equipment is quickly fixed if anything malfunctions. They even have a cleaning crew that comes in after hours and sanitizes the whole facility after hours in addition to safety protocols that have been implemented due to the pandemic. During the lockdow. We were even loaned some basic equipment to use at home until they were allowed to reopen! Wow I bet the other place didnt do that. If you want a quality facility at a fair price where u feel like family then this gym is for you!!

This is a wonderful gym to be a part of. I joined 6 weeks ago and have been coming here at least 5x a week. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym equipment and locker room is always clean. I also use child care service and have a positive experience for my children too. I am very pleased so far and there are so many activities, classes, and challenges to keep you motivated and never get bored.

Best gym ever! Amazing staff, wonderful childcare, clean, bright, and a huge selection of machines. I could go on and on but I’ll use this platform to point out a very untrue review for this business.An anonymous user rated Zone with one star and said it was “bad business practices” not to mention the 12 month commitment. Absolutely impossible! You literally cannot sign up without acknowledging the membership requirements and signing the contract. It is explained very plainly. Every single member receives a packet with many policies explained ranging from contracts to appropriate attire. Don’t lie because you didn’t pay attention during your intro meeting or bother to read the content given to you.

This is an amazing gym with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The gym is super clean, has a fitness Zone for everyone, and caring staff.

Look I travel the world for healthcare and work in many hospitals. Everywhere I go I love to hit the gym due to bodybuilding. I walked into this gym and by far the energy, the vibe and how I was greeted had me ready to go and grind it out. In the back they have a mini hot tub, sauna and steam room. I would use the steam room but for those of you who love a hot tub hey they have it lol. Also the way they have the gym clean and plexiglass in between the cardio machines that they could get 6ft apart shows they care about their members. Out of all the gyms I’ve been to this one def deserves 5 stars. If I’m ever back in the area I know to go here before golds gym!

This place has changed my life. Fitness used to seem like such an unattainable goal. Heather has helped me to make it a part of my life. It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to step into a gym because it always seems like the staff don’t care and the people in it just make you feel worse. I have to say that when I ventured into the zone location on 200, it was a super pleasant experience. I was met by a cheerful smile and greeting from Lexy. She immediately recognized I was new and welcomed me. She gave me a tour of the facility and even introduced me to a lot of the staff and other gym members. I didn’t feel pressured to join and I was able to comfortably explain my life situation with her. She cared enough to even speak with the owner to help me to address my needs(without me even asking). Lexy was attentive, caring and truly wanted to see me achieve my goals for getting back to the gym and attaining my goal weight as well. I was even more astonished that she texted me later to check in with me and see if she could offer help with anything. She sends meal ideas and has always been encouraging. Lexy has gone way above and beyond any of my expectations. Without her I don’t believe any of my goals would be within reach. Thank you for having a great attitude and for being so caring!

At the Zone the staff are professional and pleasant. The equipments are always in great working order and I mostly enjoy the wide variety that’s available. The gym (and especially the bathrooms) are constantly cleaned and well maintained. I absolutely love the modern feel of the carefully and thoughtfully designed aesthetics and layout. This is the kind of gym you would experience in a larger city and I am pleased that we so blessed to have such a gym available to us in 2 convenient locations. Thanks Ben!

I love this place!!! They have the best equipment and a variety of classes. I especially love the cross fit and ignite classes. Everyone is so friendly and the staff is super helpful every step of the way. My kids love the blast zone and even beg me to come work out just to be there. I love how clean it is from the locker room to the equipment and the food bar. This place feels like a home away from home.

If you ever work for them be advised that they will not respect your religious views if you have any and they will pressure you into making sale after sale with a huge focus on numbers vs actually treating people like people.

Prices are expensive. That being said, the equipment is well-kept and maintained regularly and theres a good assortment of classes. If you are okay with a gym where the ambiance is noticeably upper-middle class and you may feel judged if you arent wearing Gymshark or other popular brands of workout clothing, then its a great fit. Had a pretty decent experience as an employee until I started getting discriminated against for my religious views.

This place is clean and well maintained. When you walk in, it does not smell like sweat. You are greeted right away by a smiling face. They have a safe, clean child care area, that is never boring, always active with fun, games and homework help. Zone has a small cafe with delicious, healthy smoothies, meals and snacks. Equipment is in great shape with lots of workout options. Trainers are always near by to help. Plenty of classes to chose from, including some for the children. Hot tub, sauna, steam room, showers are available in the locker rooms. They often have events that encourage health and fitness. The price for membership is higher than other gyms in the area and they offer discounts. I regret nothing about choosing Zone, as they meet my familys needs (out of shape single mom, children and disabled veteran) Zone is for anybody.

I have been going to Zone health and fitness for over 4 years now and I love the gym. Great atmosphere, people and equipment. I also love being a trainer there working at zone is amazing. I get to learn from a lot of awesome people and take my training to another level by learning from my other co workers. This gym is definitely the best gym around and definitely in Ocala. If you haven’t tried it out, you need to get your butt over there and work out.

I love zone west because the staff are so inviting. They treat there clients and there new gym beginners with welcome arms. The staff is like a family to me and the friends I bring to the gym with me. From the people at the front desk like Thomas to the trainers like Aaron and tanner. I get the best workout at zone west. I’ve been to a lot of gyms but zone health and fitness is by far the best gym I’ve been too. I’ve been so motivated and so inspired by everyone that are trying to reach their full potiential in order to live there best and healthy life. This is a lifestyle to me it’s not just a place I come in to just to get away from work or home. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to exercise and for anyone looking to better themselves. Zone west is not like any other gym I’ve been to. Literally the best experience of have of zone west is watching the elderly work to achieve greatness. I love watching different types of people of different ages give it there all and inspire the younger generation to achieve the same thing. Since zone west I had weighed 249lb and now because of zone west I lost 63 pounds. I love zone west health and fitness.
