Parking along fence outside the gate is acceptable 24/7. Gaurd shack opens at 6 a.m.. Yes, doors are very tight and limited! They unload and check in themselves but, is a rather quick process. Out of the majority of things I have heard about delivering at the port of Oakland, I believe uni cold is a relatively great place to deliver!

Driveway does have a sign from both directions say unicold when enter driveway stay to the right containers are dropped long driveway go to end and park on the right dont block the gate.. and driveway go parllel with train tracks and private truck parking in between

People are very nice. But the space to dock is extremely tight and if you think getting in is tough wait til you have to get out. Been there several times usually one of the other drivers will get out and help spot you. Park tight up against the fence call to check in they will come to you.

Five stars for the great attitude i experience from every one i came in contact with. They are a busy facility so unloading took longer than expected. As everyone else has said, space at the docks is tight . Go slow and watch your corners. Best to ask someone to spot you. It is that tight.

No issues with Unicold at all. Possible issues would be finding the entrance, parking availability, and tight tight docking for trailers. Good luck!

One star short of excellent because of the difficulty getting in and out of the loading docks. Staff very friendly and helpful, clean facility, small but adequate staging area along the fence line.

We are at the 3rd driveway on your right side of Maritime. GPS and Signs are not much help. When you find our driveway, stay in the right side inbound lane. There may be trucks lined up, if so get in line behind them and walk up to the guard shack to let them know your there. If there is no trucks in line (Rare) stay in the inbound lane until you get to the fence with a small STOP sign, then walk to guard shack to check in. It is a one way in, one way out, so please dont be that driver that drives past everyone in line, then parks in the yard blocking everyone, tell me this is your first time here, then we all have to wait for you to turn around and exit to get back in line before we can continue moving trucks. We go by appointment time, so dont freak out about how far back in the line you are. Your allowed a 30 min grace period to be late, if 30 minutes pass your appointment time and you have not checked in, you miss your appointment and go on standby and we try to work you in. If your looking to get here early and sleep, you might want to park in the center lane of Maritime street, once youre in our line, you need to keep moving forward as the line moves, so if your sleeping we will have to come knock on your truck and ask you to move up to keep the line as short as possible. We dont charge to unload. We DO charge $40 a pallet to restack broken pallets or to remove damaged cases. They will also charge $40 a pallet to move product that does not belong to us to get to ours. Food truck shows up in the employee parking lot around 9:15am. During the COVID pandemic, drivers are not allowed inside the warehouse, there is a Porto potty setup in the yard across from dock #13.

Tight docks for 53 foot trailers, dont take a nap while getting unloaded. Be prepared to help out your fellow drivers.

A little slow 🐌 on the receiving side today, but it wasnt to painful since I get paid by the hour.

Had 0600 appointment.Checked in @ 0520Was given door right away. Out with paperwork @ 0700.Parking right if u have squeeze between 2 trucks.

You can park overnight at the entrance on the driveway but be aware security will wake you up at 05:00 am to check you in then you go back to sleep till your appointment super tight docks i got lucky next dock was free so was a little easier but if not would be very tight for a truck with a sleeper to back in got empty within hour from my appointment

Docking can be a problem. Your skills will be tested.

Not bad, overnight parking in driveway. 1030 am appt.Left dock 1230.Suggest arriving at night to avoid traffic

The staff is friendly and helpful but the receiving docks are a pain. There is very little maneuverability as the space is tight with jersey barriers and trailers everywhere. Appt was 0730, left at 1250.

Waited in line 11 hours to deliver 2 skids the last time I was here. I was an hour early for my appointment time and had to wait in the line in the street 11 hours. 9 of which were just getting in the gate. The docks are also a joke. Theres barely room to squeeze yourself through your door. Hate to ever come back on a LTL load. Stay away if you can or overnight and get in line first thing.

Seem like pretty friendly folks, actually. Maybe a little haphazard around the edges, but they did take my delivery a day early.

Come at night if you wanna beat morning traffic and get in line appointment time doesnt matter so much or you can park on turn lane on main road, unloading time depends on your size of load

Very friendly stuff, they open at 3 am, make sure you park your truck in the line and walk to guard office to check in and you can also come in night and park in the line .

Appointment time at 6am got here at 545am and waited a few minutes for them to open gate. was put right into a door and unloaded right away.
