Laser tag was a lot of fun. If you havent gone yet. You should. Had a group ranging from 50 to 7 and everyone had a blast. Mutliple types of games. A good time.
Roller Barn was great!!! Family fun at its best! Great music! Laser light show with mist! Bring the family for a night or day of skating! If your in Oak Harbor stop by! The owners the Croft family are just the best!
61 and 2nd try! Last month I couldnt remember how to skate. This time it was coming back to me. We had a blast, great exercise for my grandson and his friend to get! Theyre 12.
Weird hours for free skate cause of covid but all in all a fun time
Took my 2 year old son for his birthday and he had a blast!! Theyre very accommodating to any age! They also have arcade games to play on if youre not skating. We reccomend going!!
We had a blast at the birthday party!!! I definitely recommend this place! It brought us a lot of memories of our childhood ❤️
Its rlly good the more you practice and the longer you stay the better you will get
We had fun for my sons birthday today! They were very kind and accommodating.
Needs some work but had a good time with the family.
Great old school feel! Took me back to high school days
I wanted to like this place but it is run down, not the most inviting and dingy. The chairs were ripped up, the carpet was worn down and dirty, there were holes in the walls, the skates were old and uncomfortable...It definitely needs a remodel and new skates.
Always a fantastic time
The Roller Barn skating rink is a must stop for families living on or visiting Whidbey Island. Both the historic barn and the roller skating bring feelings of nostagia. The new owners have some great plans to make this even more fun for the whole family. Cant wait!
The blades are very bad quality, its super crowded and way to loud. The roller blades feel like they have been rented out for the last 5 years they have zero padding, the wheels are worn out and just ruined the experience for me and my family. But if you go on a slow day and have your own blades i am sure it could be very fun.
My great grandfather raised that barn on his farm (with the help of many community members). I love that it’s still there. My mom lived there until she was five. That was when my family lost the farm in the great depression. It’s wondeedul to have returned home to the town where I have a feeling of heritage and history. Oak Harbor is truly my home, and I love it here! Thank you to all who have written such nice reviews of the Roller Barn. I have heard that is needs some very expensive repairs, and I surely hope our wonderful little community can keep it going!!!💖
Fun time for kids ages 4+. Its in a really old historic Barn. And if you can look past the rough edges you will have a fantastic time. We went there for the first time for a birthday party. So we had the whole floor to ourselves. The skates are in okay shape. The kids ones were great but mine had torn laces. Like I said a little rough around the edges. But its definitely a cool experience and one you should share with your kids
Ohhh my gawwd!! This place brings back soooo many happy childhood memories. Every single friday night after school this place was packed full of me and my friends in 1998/1999. All wanted to do at 10 yrs old was skate all night and pig out on nachos and sour punch straws. The -ish was poppin!! I was randomly surfing the internet and was curious if this place still existed and OMG! It freaking does... im 30 now but man, those were good times!
Take a step back into the simpler time in life - a community rink ... strap some skates on and learn real quick how much you have forgotten
One of the most unique rinks I have had the pleasure of skating in. The Skate Barn also doubles as a Boys and Girls club but hosts many open skates as well as the occasional Roller Derby bout.
I couldnt even figure out where to go or which entrance to go through to enter. They need better/more clear signage.
Used to love to go there . havent been to in a long while
So much fun brought back decades of memories!
Mind blowing
Really wish theyd open mikes a used to as a roller Barnes more skating more activities not just a youth center theyve taken away the roller blades and change the place not my cup of tea
They are bad at telling people to stop doing bad things
Fun place but a bit crowded
It is a fun family roller skating entertainment
Many claim it, but few if any barns can say this is the largest barn in the northwest.
This place rocks!!!!
Amazing for birthday parties
Its getting boring
Fun and different
