New to the gym. Was very impressed with the selection of equipment they have. Staff is awesome. Many programs to meet any kind of work out you desire. Cleaning stations throughout to wipe down equipment after each use. Masks are mandatory. So excited to get started on a regular program. Highly recommended!!

Its planet fitness. It had everything a gym would need besides the dumb policies they have about workout stuff. Works in a pinch if you need a gym and dont wanna pay much or need a day pass when the south ends power goes out.

Great place. Nobody bothers you or gets in your way. Everything is clean and the staff are all very friendly. No wait lines for machines when I’m in. I’ve been happy so far.

They have a wide variety of machines, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, tanning, massage beds and chairs are awesome after a workout, and the bathrooms and showers are very clean and nice also. I love going here!

Trainer very rude,not the first time. See s they do not care if you cancel. My Wife has stated people staying on 1 machine during 30 minute workouts and staff does nothing.not the first time Trainer Lady has been rude to me

Honestly its extra silly seeing people running with mask on. But hey stay open and require people to wear mask to workout. I dont know what to blame either the gym or the state but it is what it is.

This planet fitness is clean! Joanna goes above and beyond her duty to keep that place spick and span and covid free! Even though were in charge of cleaning our own station she goes behind and make sure it all gets done up to par I definitely recommend this place

I love going in the morning where theres less people. I was incorrectly charged an annual fee when I downgraded my membership and the manager fixed it so no complaints there.

The Planet Fitness in Oak Harbor Washington is absolutely aamazing.The staff are kind to me and my brother. We arent used to gym settings, but it was very enjoyable for our first visit. Excited to return again this week.

No matter what time I go the staff are friendly. It’s also great that they know me by name!

I love that I can go to Planet Fitness any time. The facility is very clean. The equipment is well maintained. There are lots of options available for workouts. The staff is always friendly. I love to relax on the Hydromassage bed after my workout.

Lots of space to use the equipment without feeling crowded or in anyones space. Clean and comfortable to work out at without feeling judged for my size or strength.

Nice but small

This gym is a health hazard! Containers of antibacterial product are empty. When staff was asked by myself and my workout partner we were told that the franchise owner and manager won’t purchase adequate amount “their too cheap” the front desk guy and gal both proclaimed. Equipment is NOT maintained for safety, the treadmill I was on suddenly and abruptly shot up in speed causing me to fly off the back, land on my butt, again n the uncaring and unprofessional staff did NOTHING.. not just nothing for me but did not even put a sign on the treadmill to keep it out of commission so others don’t get injured like I did!HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A GYM!

Wondering why I spend the max for a black card membership when you get the same benefits with the classic membership. Several times, I have witnessed classic members and guests enter the black card spa without staff even checking memberships WHEN THERE ARE BLACK CARD MEMBERS WAITING to use the amenities they pay for. I have been in there 5 days a week for a month and still havent been able to use the amenities I pay for because there are others that have been waiting with classic memberships.

Poor management, not very friendly to their customers. And very impatient. I just renewed my membership but Im canceling it now.

I love the people who work there. Theyre very helpful. The place is clean and straight forward. The one thing I wish they would change is the music. The employees have ZERO input on the kind of music they play or what we, the customer, wants to hear. Hence, the 4 stars.

Couldnt ask for a better place to workout. I feel comfortable there and the fact that they have someone there 24 hours rather than a locked door, is amazing. Its not small, it has plenty of equipment that youre not waiting for someone else to finish and youre not on top of anyone while do your thing and the best part, I dont have to listen to the loud grunting and weights dropping on the floor!

Love the gym, hate the billing snafus. I keep getting charged late fees because they put my bank account information in wrong not once, but twice. Every time I call to fix it, Im told it will take a few days to correct. Well, it took a few days - for more charges to be put on my credit card. I am owed back at least $60, as of today.The gym itself is always clean, equipment all working, and staff friendly and helpful. Just wish the billing was as its supposed to be.

The facility is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. However, just like every other planet fitness, it is very basic. It has no equipment that would be used for body building, like deadlift stations, etc.

Its awesome and alot of amenities with Black Card

Most of the employees there are unprofessional. Example: hey here is not how you address your paying customers when they enter your establishment. Also, when a customer leaves and they are acknowledged and another customer flows soon after and they are not acknowledged, it reflects poorly on the overall ability of your staff. These skills are basic, most fast food restaurant employees possess them. It is a shame that the employees at this gym do not. Hopefully some much needed will be implemented soon.***Update***The service has improved tremendously, I have had professional service since my last review. I am so impressed with the turnaround that I upgraded my membership.

Love, love, love the atmosphere and all the different machines. Plus the spa is a nice treat after the workout. Private showers are excellent.

Hey there fellas, sorry about my earlier review someone apparently thinks its ok to use my account. Ive never actually been to planet fitness but from the people I know have gone they have always had a good time. Again Id like to apologize for the earlier fake review.

Definitely a clean safe, welcoming place to work out. And its nice to be able to go any time of day.

There is a lot of variety in workout options. I love that I can concentrate on exercising and not what someone is thinking about me (no judgement zone).

Working in Oak Harbor for a week and needed a place to work out but was told I couldnt without starting a membership....I gladly would have paid $40 for the 4 days Im in town instead of a 10$ monthly fee.... Your loss!

Conveniently located, early to mid day hours are usually not packed, and had everything needed got a full body workout for just $10 a month. Work every dollar.

No squat cages or barbells of any kind. 😭 You can see in the condescending response (try to understand) from PF below that they themselves dont seem to understand that Im rating the Oak Harbor location specifically, and that I dont have any questions; Im rating the club as it stands now.

For all the haters out there go check it out before you speak your mind. This place is freaking awesome!! The Spa itself is worth the $20 something a month. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The tanning beds I can not wait to use and the hydro beds was AMAZING! Plenty of machines and I love they have ABB machines. Each machine also has a barcode you can scan if you do not know how to use the equipment. The GYM is 24 hours and there is staffing there the whole time. So someone always there to help you. Hopefully the experience continues to be great.

I go here 2 times a week and this week I witnessed what seems like discrimination to a customer who couldn’t speak English well. Saw the ladies working at the front yelling at this man so much to the point if he was almost going to cry. I also saw a similar review about this on yelp. I believe it was an asian female and brunette female. I was working out with my buddy when I saw a bunch of commotion starting to happen at the front. I don’t know exactly what happened as I was just someone watching while working out, but I can confirm that many of the staff that work here are very unprofessional and do not treat the members of Planet Fitness with the no judgement that they promise. Please, hire individuals who will make all members feel welcomed. Yes planet fitness is a great idea and the equipment provided for its members are excellent. But the staff needs work. What ever happened to proper customer service and treating all customers with respect.

Good variety of strength training & cardio. Massage beds & chairs too. All for less than a dollar a day. 👍👍💯

Would not recomend Planet Fitness. They are allowed to lie to you to get you to sign up and once you call them out on it they will do nothing to fix it or cancell the subscription without making you pay 50 bucks. I went to sign up last month with a friend who doesnt have a bank account so we used mine. Friend forgot thier id and the person who signed us up said we could use mine for that day and put the account in my name and AT ANY TIME WE COULD SWITCH THE NAME OF THE ACCOUNT. THIS WAS A LIE ONE WEEK LATER WE TRIED AND WERE TOLD THATS NOT POSSIBLE. I HAD ASKED OVER 3 TIMES BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE AND WAS TOLD YES EVERYTIME WITH THE MANAGER STANDING NEXT TO THE WOMAN SIGNING US UP. SAME MANAGER IS THE ONE REFUSING TO DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE SITUATION. once my subsription is over im going to a different gym that will not lie to its customers to get more money.Edit: still dealing with them and every time i try to get help with something they have NO IDEA what they are doing and dont even think to call a manager over to help they will just lie to you if they dont know. I asked for the corporate number and got told they didnt have it!Edit edit: got told on the 18th (money has been pulles on this date every month) nothing they could do to hold payment and money was gonna be pulled from my account that day because it was credited on the 17th. Frantically put money in there for that and now its the 20th still no payment pulled and im dealing with trying to get refunds now from other places that pull automatically but wont if I dont have the money unlike you guys who will put me in the negative and make my bank charge me as well. Tired of being lied to and now Im paying extra because YOU PEOPLE WONT GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

Its alright had alot of problems with the payment issues in the beginning for whatever reason. But its a clean gym, cheap and 24/7.

Awesome customer service when signing up for a membership no pressure to get black card and gave us a tour of the gym which was really helpful.
