In the last month in a half. I order things from Mecari, an app. Well two times now it will say delivered and I never received it. Atleast not in my mailbox. I went to this post office yesterday about a delivery that alerted me saying not the right address or was not home. Well I looked at the times. If it was delivered to my door and no one was home, which I was at 5pm. No note was left saying there was a delivery, and no one rang the doorbell. Plus my camera would have seen the mail carrier. When checked didnt see anyone. Again I spoke to a younger guy yesterday. He told me my package was being sent back. But I could leave my address, phone number and name in case they find they person who had the package. Supposedly the lady I bought the item from says the post office contacted her and said it was delivered, just like it said on my app. Went to check the mailbox and still no package. So this is a lack on the postal service. It either got delivered to a wrong mailbox or wrong location. I hope this gets fixed because I wouldnt want to say they were taking packages and then just saying delivered.

Not sure what happened and or if our mail deliverer changed but who does this?!!! They seriously left our package out in the open. Right by the gate where ANYONE could grab it. No one came to our door (obviously). The only reason I knew it was delivered was because I checked tracking while I was feeding my baby. Even UPS does a better job, during the holidays.

Always crowded place but helpful and nice staff. I happen to visit this place few times and I have noticed its always crowded. Even during these pandemic days as well. Place has mask mandatory and 6 ft social distance but staff is always helpful and nice.

If I could give less I would. I had a passport appointment at 12:45pm. Get there and Angie the passport lady is missing and no where to be found. I didn’t know it was polite to take a lunch at the same time you had an appointment scheduled. She’s already 20 minutes late with a horrible attitude and continues to be rude during the whole appointment. She then goes off to help some else and leave me waiting. I want to thank the woman who did her best to better the situation, she had the prettiest pink nails. Thank you lady for doing your best and Angie maybe learn to be on time and lose the attitude.

I was left a notice for certified mail while I was out. There was option to reschedule re-delivery. After several days on not receiving my mail I went in person to the post office. I waited in line for 30 min only to be asked to wait in another line to see a manager. “Joyce” could not find my mail. She said she called the carrier and was waiting for the carrier to call her back. She asked for my phone number and promised to phone me. Before leaving I asked her for her contact number. Until today she has not called me nor answered the phone. I still don’t have my mail.

The service for passports is terrible! My parents went to go visit and the lady there was very rude and didn’t want to help them at all. They’re lucky I wasn’t there to raise hell. If you make an appointment to get a passport please don’t choose this location.

Im a Business owner who depends on getting mail daily. However I only get my mail maybe 3 to 4 times a week instead of the 6 days a week I should be getting it.

They are really slow to help you and rude. I went to check on a package that the tracking said it was attempted to delivered but wasnt and they would re deliver. That was a few days ago and they havent made another attempt. I got there at 4:56 and ran in before they closed at 5. (Im coming directly from work in Irvine) They already had the door locked and the guy at the door said that they were closed. I told him the its not 5 yet and he repeated were close. I asked for a manager and he said they they werent here. There was also a city worker there asking for him to open the door because it was time yet but he refused. He was asked who told him to lock the door early and he said his supervisor. We asked for that person and he refused to move and just had his back to us. He said that his supervisor was Lucy and that his name was Alex. Im going to file a complaint to the USPS, not sure if anything will come form it...

RANT - This has been one of the most frustrating places I have dealt with. I had a package that was set to be delivered in April. The mail person marked my address as incorrect (it wasnt; we checked it twice). We went into the post office to find it. It had already been sent as return to sender. I place a new order. The place i purchased the item from had to wait until the item was returned. 2 weeks later, my new package is shipped. This WHOLE thing happens again. My house was marked as an incorrect address. I went into the post office and waited 45 minutes only to be told to stand off to the side. More people are told to step to the side if its regarding packages. someone comes out to help and starts pulling from the end of the line. Frustrated but whatever, i ask about my package. Have ALL of the info. The desk person checked and said it shouldnt have been marked as incorrect but i was then was told the mail person was still out and wouldnt be back before they closed. They would put my package on hold so it wasnt returned to sender. I was told to have someone check back in the morning. Partner drove back first thing in the morning. No package. They cant find it anywhere. They say they will call the moment they find it. That was 2 days ago.

I paid for overnight shipping to get the package delivered one week later, with no reimbursement, just an apology. Hugo a representative called to try to resolve the issue.This situation has nothing to do with covid and everything to do with multiple people doing a job properly., or using covid as an excuse to be lazy or make up time on routes. I paid for a service that i was not satisfied with, and was not resolved properly.1.The cell number/ address was taped to the box on plain WHITE paper, easy to read.2.The address had received multiple big packages, that have been left before.3. No notes left on gate or door( the tracking number showed thid was done, that was false.4. WHEN THE PACKAGE WAS PICKED UP IT WAS CLEAR NO ONE HAD AN IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON, *MY BF HAD TO SHOW THEM HIS ADDRESS ON THE BOX WHEN HE GOT THERE, THINK MAY BE HE NEEDS TO GET PAID IF HES GOING TO do A BETTER JOB OF USING HIS BRAIN.This is absolutely appalling, now iam worried if my clients will get their products at all.

Honestly, I do not recommend this particular location. Staff is completely different and are just a bunch of bad apples. I used to drop my packages off and received them with no issues. Now, I’ve lost two packages there in the course of a week: one incoming and the other outgoing. Ridiculous.If you live in one of the areas where your packages are getting delivered from this office, that honestly sucks for you and good luck.

I have to admit that up to this point, my experience with USPS as a whole has been a mixed bag. However, Id like to give a shoutout to two extraordinary staff members at this particular office. Nancy and her colleague Andrew went out of their way to call me halfway around the world to verify the street name on one of my packages, which was missing. Not only did they arrange for that package to be redelivered successfully, but they also made sure that another item with the same address issue was successfully delivered as well. Well done to you both!

I requested a pick up and they did not come until the 4th time and said their truck was almost full and would have to come back in 2 hours. And finally they ignored my pick up again. Horrible experiences, paid over $500 for the premium shipping 1-day express and they were unbelievably indifferent.

Hit and miss pending on who helps you. The guy with dreadlocks is kind of dumb, could not find one of my packages for 30 minutes. I waited half hour for the manager and he found it in two minutes. If you are dropping off prepaids, make sure get receipts. Had shipments gone missing.

Applied for Passport in Norwalk, CAFirst time applyingGot there at 0932 got out 0957 on a Wednesday.Smooth transactionTips: print out the form online beforehand and all the instructions will be there. Read it and bring all they asked and you wont have any delays.Total was $222 for First time application+Expedite process+expedited return mail.

I have been going to this post office for the last 20 years and it surprised me to see that they got such low reviews while I was searching the web to see what their hours are and it made me to write this review. I got nothing bad to say about them because whenever I was there I saw the staffs are always friendly with every customers and always done their jobs well. I have never got even a tiny problem with them. I am super glad that they are our local post office.

Was here to process the passport for my son.Pros: no appointment needed, not many people waiting on a Friday morning. They also take pictures there and make copies of needed paperwork.Cons: customer service from this lady texting in the picture knowing I was waiting. The other reps were courteous and very pleasant to deal with (when paying for the services and processing the last part of the application)

The customer service number is like embarking on slow line to the dmv waiting for death. Never have I ever had a service number so slow, unreliable and limited. I would rather go to the dmv on a Monday with no appointment or paperwork. The actual post office in person is great but the phone service is a whole other thing. I have been to this post office a couple time and the people are very nice and helpful. But today all I wanted to know is if they make money orders, so saving me a trip of going there and having them tell me no in person I decided to call. That was the biggest and most unreasonable stupid call I have ever made. From my experience I would say just go in and talk to them in person so i guess i am having to do the run around anyways. Still have no idea if they do money orders here or no so if anyone knows please let me know. Thank you

PASSPORT DEPT personnel shouldnt be there working at ALL. The. Worst experience with providing customer service. My 1st visited I thought she was lazy, never got up to the window, she communicate with you from her desk. She untentative, unconcern, dont want to answer your questions. Then I went the 2nd time, I waited for 30 minutes at the window, she was no where to be found. It took another 20 minutes for few workers located her, by that time there was a 1/2 mile long of customer are waiting. Again....very rude, no personality, grab your paper work and NOT talking to the customer. However, I do have good experience with stamps/shipping services.

I wanted to move my mail recipient, as I have a wall slot, making it very difficult for mail carrier to place my mail and same for me to remove from the inside of the house.Called and spoke to Pete Estrada, his first response was. No, we do not allow mail recipients to be moved, or else wed have thousands of people trying to move them.After I explained that I wanted to place a mail box to make it more accessible for everyone and about 10 minutes with him on the phone, Pete finally came to his senses and realized my proposal to move of the mail recipient was in their best interest also, not only mine. At that point Peter said Evelyn Benjamin would call me back the next day to approve. Three days went by and she never called. I decided to stop by post office and talk to her in person. Got there and waited for 46 minutes, Peter walked by and I started talking to him, he remembered our conversation and approved but refused to sign anything.I guess after all it wasnt so bad, but 45 minute waiting for this lady......Thats just unacceptable.
