I found Climate Care contacts through Angie’s listing and I was super happy to work with them as they are a local company. I had shopped around and found them to be competitive. Office staff, installation tech all of them are very professional and courteous.This review will fall short if I don’t mention about Dave who continues to keep his promises and work through things that needed to address. I don’t have to worry about permits and local town requirements with Dave’s expertise things are taken care. No hassle !!!!

We are customers of Climate Care and are very happy with the HVAC maintenance that they have provided. The technician is always on time, works in a professional manner and is able and willing answer any questions we have.It is easy to schedule appointments . We recently had a service issue over the weekend and Dave could not have been more accommodating despite the fact that it was a Sunday.I would highly recommend this company.

Dave was responsive and took care of us on short notice even in mid summer. The team was professional, curtious, and clean with the installation. Overall I am very pleased to have used them. I would recommend.

Just bought our home two months ago and we were not able to test the AC system as it was still to cold to do so. Turned on the unit for the first time and it was not working properly. Called Climate Care and despite the busy schedule was able to fit me in within a day and take care of my issue.

My experience with Dave and Climate Care was great. Had a complete fail of my ac system on a terrible day and Dave came out immediately and was able to rectify the issues my system was having in no time. Very I happy I went with them.

Excellent service, respectful and efficient workers with a responsive and knowledgeable owner. When our Central Air Unit stopped working, Dave had our new unit, filters, thermostat etc. ordered and installed within a two day period. The Climate Care crew made sure to show and inform us how to properly set and run our new thermostat. Our AC has never felt better with a consistent and comfortable temperature through out the entire house.

Climate Care replaced my old boiler, removed the radiators from my house and added forced hot air cooling and A/C. They were extremely respectful of our schedule and showed up on time every day. As our house is from the 1920s they worked with us to find great solutions for getting all the vents where we needed them without sacrificing any ceiling height in our basement or garage (or much floor space in our attic, which was very important to us. The installation was neat and it looks like a system in a new construction house. All in all very pleased with the experience start to finish.

The service is unprofessional and they are unresponsive. My elderly parents have been left in their home on 4 days with temperatures above 90 degrees. The 1 year old AC (purchased and installed by the company) is not working. Additionally, they purchased the service package. They don’t return calls, say they will be there to service the unit and no one comes or calls. I would not recommend using this company.

Dave and his team have been taking care of our HVAC needs for over 10 years and 2 houses. I first reached out to him because he was doing a great job for the building I was working at in Norwalk. The first time we needed service, our central air stopped working during a heat wave. The crew came over same day and got the system working again. Eventually the system needed to be replaced and they did an excellent job. We bought a new home in 2020 that did not have central air on the first floor. Dave came in to scope out the work and give us a proposal and did we are very happy with the new system. The crew is professional and pricing is always fair. I would recommend Climate Care to anyone with HVAC needs.

I called very early on a sunday morning, my phone call was returned within the hour. in the mean time in panic mode i had called someone else and they were on the way so i said thank you so much for the call back but i have someone else coming im so sorry. Dave said no worries at all i get it ! if you have any issues please give me a call back. the guy that i had come out was unable to fix it. so i called dave back and said i need your help ! not a problem we will see you first thing in the morning ! he sent out a tech, on time and very knowledgeable. he had the problem fixed in under an hour. hats off to you guys. highly recommend. only company i will call in the future. thanks again !

I called all the major installers in the area as well as a few smaller shops. I felt the personal touch and attention to detail from the pre-sale to the post-sale has always been at the highest quality. The owner was always onsite or a call away and stands behind his reputation. The space was tight and this Company figured it out and put a larger system in the same space as the previous unit which was smaller.Highly recommend.

Excellent, friendly service! Dave was sympathetic to my need for air conditioning during the heatwave and coordinated the installation of a split ductless system with the electrician right away. Luis was very friendly and professional and spent the day in the heat making sure everything looked good and worked perfectly. Thank you!!

I had reached out 3 other HVAC companies to replace 2 39-year old units before I hit my jack pot at Climate Care. It was like day and night in terms of technical know how, responsiveness, services and the end results. Dave, the owner, personally came to the site at least three times to survey free of charge, conduct feasibility study and listen to our needs. He never pushed; instead, he laid out different products available in the market and help me do the comparison and choose what fit my house the most. Their estimates were the fairest among all the HVAC companies I had contacted. Most important of all, I had this strong feel of trust in Dave. He is a kind of guy who gets jobs done, without compromising quality and professionalism.On the day of installation, Dave and his team came on time as scheduled on Dec 22. I was impressed by how neat and organized the technicians were! They even brought a mobile working table so that all parts and accessories were laid out nice and neat. No room for mistakes or mess up. The newly installed HVAC worked like a charm, so evenly distributed and well set up. Dave personally installed two Nest thermostats which instantly upgraded our lifestyle to modern technology. Having these two new HVAV units were like receiving the best Xmas gifts for us, made it possible and in time for us to have Xmas Eve and Christmas Day in warmth and safety during this winter’s first severe storm. We could not be any happier with Climate Care. We highly recommend Climate Care to anyone who has HVAC needs.

Had to have the AC unit replaced in my parents condo during an awful heatwave. The work was done, but the communication with Dave was extremely difficult. He would promise to call and either called hours after he promised, or just did not call at all. He also quoted one price and then asked for a completely different amount when the payment was due. He has been promising to send me paperwork that I have requested for two weeks and I have still yet to receive it. I would have preferred he have told me that he was too busy to help out than to have to deal with all of these empty promises. I would not recommend this company due to their poor customer service.

Wish I could give a real review on service since they have high ratings... had an issue with my air conditioning and called for emergency service. I got the call center who took my information and said someone should be calling me shortly.. after 30 minutes of no follow up phone call I called again. The woman moved my priority level up and gave me the technician Davids cell phone..she told me to expect a call back within 5 minutes.... I received nothing...wasted my time waiting for a phone call when I could have contacted a more reliable service that was true to their 24/7...Now here I am with no AC and will be using my service elsewhere with a bigger company that clearly understands every Google search or phone call is a potential customer. Climate Care lost a customer today. Unfortunate loss when the money could have come so easily under the circumstances.

Dave seems like a nice guy so it bothers me to leave this review. I spent $5k last July to have a new condenser put in and evap coil replaced. 1 year later the same issues that were supposed to be fixed returned. I called on a Saturday for emergency service because my house had no A/C. They said I will try to locate our on call service tech and I never recieved a call back. I called another guy, he took time out of his already busy day to stop by and diagnose things. He asked who worked on this last year beacuse he said it was embarrassing how bad of a job it is. If I could I would demand at least half of the money spent last year back. These guys are never on time, say they will be there and then just never show up without even calling. Their customer service is awful and they over charge. I learned my lesson the hard way.Stay away from Climate Care.

Chris was very professional and called me in advance when he anticipated being a few mins late due to traffic. He helped replace the mixing valve on my combination boiler and throughout the process, clearly explained what he was doing and why. One of the best experiences Ive had with an HVAC contractor. I would give 0 stars if I could! I reached out to have my unit serviced and a filter put in. A technician came out - charged me $100 for diagnostic fee and said they would come back to perform the work. I paid cash. Followed up numerous times to no avail. Extremely unsatisfied and would recommend avoiding.

Outstanding job. Exceeded expectations on replacement of my entire HVAC system in East Norwalk, CT. Great value for the buck. Cannot say enough good things about these guys.

They fixed my furnace during the winter, while I was away, and did a terrific job. I am very pleased and grateful for their excellent work and friendly service.

Company committed to my warranty company to stop by between hours of 11-3pm. Talked to Dave throughout the day who said he’d come check it out only to call me at4:30 to say there’s a mixup! I have been waiting for days to be dismissed as if me not having heat did not matter! Very very disappointed, AND COLD!

My experience with Climate Care has been exceedingly frustrating. Initially, I was extremely pleased - they were extremely responsive in terms of scheduling an installation date for our mini splits, and the crew that installed the equipment were polite, efficient, and pleasant to work with.However, when they showed up, they had brought the wrong equipment - rather than a compressor that could hook up four units, they brought one that could only hook up three. Apparently, the correct unit was backordered. I was given an option to either purchase an additional single compressor for our basement unit, or to wait for the correct unit to be available, at which point they would install the basement unit and swap out the compressors. I chose the second option.I made the rookie mistake of paying in full, despite the fact that the work was not complete, trusting that they would finish the job. I have been attempting to follow up for months, and my texts and e-mails have been more or less ignored. I have an uninstalled minisplit just sitting in my basement.The moral of the story is, dont trust Climate Care. They wont finish the job, and they will ghost you when you try to track them down.
