I am extremely happy with their service. Brady was absolutely amazing. We had a minor flood in our apartment and he helped to get out the water and came back to clean. He did a great job, was a pleasure to chat with, and great at communicating what he was doing. I called the night that our basement flooded and talked with Derek. The very next morning he came over and gave an estimate that was better than fair. That afternoon Brady and his crew was there working. Brady’s communication each day and hard work was excellent. I couldn’t be happier with how the whole experience worked out. Caution, our insurance didn’t cover anything because the water damage was caused by the main water line outside the wall.

Very happy with these guys so far! Extremely professional and knowledgeable. I didnt feel pressured from them at all. They gave me a good general idea to what costs and time-frame would be, which is super helpful. We havent decided to do any remediation with them, so no feedback here yet.

Quinten, Evan, and Derek did an AMAZING JOB!! We Live in a cabin that was built in 1940. The attics all needed the old insulation removed and cleaned out of all debris. This crew did a great job! Disaster Doctors took care of the water damage we experienced because of a flood we had in our upstairs bathroom which leaked into our bathroom downstairs. They also helped with removal of some mold. I was a listing agent trying to sell a property, and of course the first people who go do a showing tell me they hear water running. Turns out there was a significant leak in the crawlspace. After getting the leak resolved, Disaster Doctors came out to make sure it all got cleaned up and didnt have any further damage. I didnt have much interaction with them in person, but they were very communicative with the homeowner and seemed to do a really professional job. When I noticed something wrong with the property, Cody spent a bunch of time diagnosing and fixing it, even though (in retrospect) Im almost completely sure it was not related to their work at all. Really good experience, and they got this issue out of the way quickly so the property could get sold!

Really top notch service. Derek & Devon were so kind and very conscientious with COVID safety. They went above and beyond to help us understand the issues and find an affordable solution. They were very sweet to our dog and made us feel very comfortable in our home while they were working.

Im changing my rating due to a few things. There was a lack of communication that resulted in equipment being in my home longer than needed. Also the company that was supposed to give me a quote to do the finished carpentry after the cleanup fail to send in a quote after they came and measured everything. The scope of all that has to be done to remove all of my belongings from the basement, remove all the damaged material (carpets ect) is honestly a bit overwhelming. But that being said, They were very helpful, and communicated with me well; so I knew exactly what our next steps were. When they were called at 7 pm they came out right away. They were very prompt.They answered all my questions no matter how small they were. They helped me understand the process of removing the damaged material, and what work had to be done.They helped me through the process of getting a storage pod out to put my belongings in, scheduling people to come out and test for asbestos; they even helped carry my belongings out of the basement- and into the rented storage pod. We had some water damage from a hot water heater leak. Used another company who verbally provided us a low cost estimate but then billed us a much higher price. In an effort to find out if we were being charged correctly, I called Disaster Doctors. Derrick took the time out of his day to go through my bill line by line and describe what each charge was and what the industry standard would be. He spent about a half hour on the phone with me and wouldnt accept any payment for his work and time. Next time Im going straight to Disaster doctors for any water mitigation jobs.

Derek, Paolo and Quinton went above and beyond! They answered all of our questions and worked efficiently and professionally. They were cleaning up extensive flood damage, which created mold. They explained the process, kept us informed and were careful when cutting into walls, not to damage existing and usable pipes. They told us exact cost and we were never overcharged. They kept us apprised of any new issues they noticed that may need repair.Derek even went so far as to answer questions after hours which we appreciated. Additionally, they hauled away extra pieces of garbage after demo, which was a huge help! On top of that, they helped my daughter preserve and remove a piece of carpet that ended up in a set design for a collaboration with Ririe-Woodbury! Well definitely use their services again. We had a flood due to a leaking shower and tub in the floor above. Cody from Disaster Doctors came out to do an inspection of mold and he was very quick in responding and arriving, thorough in his assessment and professional in his diagnosis. This assessment didnt require any work from his business and he was straightforward about little things I can do on my own to get rid of the mold we have. I felt he could have tried to sell me on using his Company just to make a dollar, but instead he gave me good advice and helped me see how to handle the small problem on my own. Next time I have something big happen when I do need someone, he will be the first one I call!

We just bought a new house and had some plumbing issues. The Plumber had a difficult time finding one particular leak.Disaster Doctors Mitigation Coordinator Cody Stanger came out free of charge and helped us verify the issue. I was impressed with their quality of work and care in protecting the rest of our house from dust and any other damage. I dont remember all of their names but I did see that Quinten was often and was a very hard worker.

Unfortunately, this company provided very poor service after our minor basement flooded. We were charged $120 for an emergency service call, even though the call was not on a night or weekend. I called on a Monday morning after the flooding had stopped the day before. Their cleanup was sub-par, leaving dirt and residue from the backup, and they left carpet in our backyard (see attached photos), all while charging a dump charge of $150. Their dehumidifier never worked, even after a technician came out to try and fix it. They thought we were filing a claim with our homeowners insurance, so they billed for all sorts of bogus items such as the $104/day cost of running a non-working machine, 10 pairs of disposable gloves and 6 pairs of boots. Wow, one hour of work for two guys really required all this? Hopefully, they are able to improve both their honesty and their quality of work in the future.

We are ever impressed with the boots-on-the-ground technicians at Disaster Doctors. They are always prompt, caring, thorough, and knowledgeable.Background:We had a broken pipe in our basement four years ago. We called Disaster Doctors to help. They were wonderful. Because of that good experience, when we faced another situation this past Easter weekend we called Disaster Doctors again.Chris and Devon came out ASAP and helped us. Chris arrived first and was kind, calm, and clean. Over the next week, Devon and Alejandro worked to clean up water, mold, etc. They assessed moisture with a sensitive gauge and with a thermo-camera-Star-Trek-gizzy thing. LOL. I love those because they give me the piece of mind that the moisture is being taken care of. Additionally, Devon explained things and took every measure to take care of us. Carpet was removed promptly. Fans, heaters, and HEPA filters were brought in. They applied floor protection to the pathway in our house that they would use. They also covered other areas with taped plastic sheets to protect undamaged surfaces from dust and dirt. They basically quarantine the affected area in order to protect the rest of the house. I loved it. (Disaster Doctors also knows a lot of the ins and outs of insurance claims and helped me navigate some of that.)Devon managed the mitigation process and made sure that the work that was being done by OTHER contractors was necessary and not trigger-happy. He really took care and showed concern. He was real - not sale-sy. We could not have asked for a better technician to help us. Alejandro was so sweet, strong, and kind. Such a hard worker. They were a great pair. Could not have been better. Devon and Lucas came the final day to remove the fans, etc. Lucas was nice and professional.I truly appreciate this company and their boots-on-the-ground guys. No one wants a disaster in their basement but this company is so great that we almost do - almost. :-)Thank you, Disaster Doctors!!p.s. My little one adored the Disaster Doctors and was even given a company hat as a gift.

I give Chris ☆☆☆☆☆ (5 stars) . He was on time when he said he would be, left the basement area very clean and did a thorough job. The company deserves less than 4 stars. I expected the bill to be higher than the quote, as you never know what will be found once the work begins. I didnt expect that it would be over $1100 more. I wouldnt be so irritated if they had told me as they went. The bid was already $3500 so to add an additional $1100 really hurt the wallet. The repair side that puts it all together again wanted to charge $120 for the estimate or sign an agreement immediately. I decided to decline having them do the repairs estimate at all and glad I did after getting the surprise additional amount for the mold remediation.I will say all the employees i dealt with were very friendly and nice.

Beware, I would recommend using anyone else.Background- my sewage line backed up and caused some minor flooding of sewage into my basement.There are a ton of 5 star reviews because the first crew on site is the crew that cleans up the damage. They will tell you that they will receive a bonus if you leave a 5 star review. And honestly they deserve it because they did a good job however they tell you that they will communicate closely with the remodel team and that everything will be covered by insurance. NOT TRUE. Very poor communication between the damage cleanup crew and the remodel team. The only issue I had with the damage cleanup crew is they gutted our entire basement when only 1/4 of it had been affected. They didnt need to gut the entire basement.The remodel team is where all of the issues arise. First, the manager (I believe we had Garrett) will come out and measure the areas of damage and the overall basement measurements which will be submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement. He said he will take care of the claim with insurance and everything will be covered. He added false measurements everywhere in an attempt to have the insurance company pay out more. Also, on the insurance claim, he added work that wasnt done by the company at all in another attempt to have the insurance company pay out more. The insurance company, Allstate in my situation, isnt stupid and isnt going to pay out for false info as their adjuster also comes on property and makes their own measurements. When I measured the basement to determine who was correct, the insurance company had the correct measurements. Finally, we asked Disaster Doctors what the cost would be to paint the entire basement since they would be painting the damaged portions and we wanted it all to match. The manager said he would get back to us on the cost. That never happened, and the workers just painted the entire basement.We thought all was well and taken care of between Disaster Doctors and insurance company however after two months, the insurance company came to us to say they havent been able to reach anyone at Disaster Doctors for two months. This went on for another two to three months before Disaster Doctors advised us that we owed them almost $2,000. This was a shock to us and while we were able to have some of the charges adjusted, we still paid them over $1,000 out of pocket.The key takeaways are there business model is meant to overcharge for everything and hope the insurance company doesnt notice. When the insurance company doesnt pay, Disaster Doctors will then expect you to pay the bill. I would recommend using someone else. Allstate mentioned the same thing as Disaster Doctors is a known company that they recommend not doing business with.

We chose this company because they had the highest ratings. We now know why. Ours has been a significant flood and at the end of this clean-up stage, it is amazing that at this point it can look so good. These guys have left the floors swept and vacuumed. There is not a stray nail to be found. Chris is the individual with whom weve had contact. We have had absolutely no qualms about having him work here throughout the days we were away at work. He has been working extremely long hours in an effort to help us move forward. He has communicated the plan and time table all throughout this process. Everything had to be moved out from our basement.Care was taken in moving things and they are being stored securely. The company brought in a second storage container to accommodate our things. Chris continually documented damage and additional information that may be needed by the insurance company. He is willing to do the negotiating with them in an effort to return our home to pre-flood status. When something like this happens it makes such a difference to have a company come and work hard all the while making us feel like they had our best interest at heart. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in similar circumstances.

Devon is such a great professional! His team arrives on time, stayed later when needed and walked me through the process step-by-step & was very patient with all of my questions, I had about 100. He would call before/after coming to the house, and always asked if I had any questions. He’s very thorough, friendly but also is compassionate towards our “disaster” that they made better. Dallas was also a great help and is very funny. Wonderful work/results.

We called Disaster Doctors in our time of need and I immediately reached someone who could help me. Derek was beyond helpful on the phone giving me step by step instructions to start the process of ending our basement flood nightmare. Their on-call techs, Nash and Tyler, quickly arrived to start the emergency extraction process and were also very informative, kind, and helpful to us. They finished the initial steps quickly and adequately and gave us the information that we needed to know going forward. All of our questions were answered in depth, and we were never left wondering what to do next. The customer service and support has been outstanding so far. We are in the beginning process of this project, but I dont doubt the high quality will continue.

This 5 stars review is directed directly to Devon. Hes a hard worker, polite and knowledgeable. However, Derek, the salesman who bid the work to be done was ok and deserves 3 stars, I had a major complaint and expressed it to him. He said that there was nothing he could do about it, I asked him to say something to the appropriate people. I dont know if he did, he never even bothered to follow up to see if every thing else about the job was going well or not. Then there was Tony, the salesman who bids re construction. He refused to give me a bid unless he was guaranteed the work. I told him that I wasnt interested then. It makes no sense to be a salesman if you cannot give someone a bid for work to be done, especially when they are already spending a substantial amount of money with the company that you represent. I really hope this makes it to the appropriate people who can truly do something to better train the individuals who represent this company that is there to help people when disasters happen and reward those individuals who help them shine. I called late in the evening in a panic after I had walked in the master bedroom and found a massive flood from an on-demand hot water tank under the sink that died. Water flooded the whole bathroom, the closet and went on into the bedroom. I then soon learned to my horror that it also flooded the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, and hallway beneath.I called Disaster Doctors and they literally came to my rescue late that night. Derek was amazing on the phone and arranged for two of his awesome techs to come out within the hour. Chris and Nash worked so hard into the wee hours of the morning to mitigate the damage. Please go elsewhere, literally anywhere else. I called for a basement flood, they said they would have someone there within a day. 2 days later Derek came, was nice enough, and said they would get someone out the next day. 4 days later and about 3 hours late, someone showed up. Again, nice enough. Pulled some carpet and padding, put some plastic up....all in all about 3.5 hours. Well they filed a claim with my insurance, but they filed the wrong information. They said the water came over the window and into the basement. This was wrong. Turns out someone tried to break in while I was gone and water went thru the window. Claim got denied, I told them I would complete the work. Sent me a text, an actual text with an amount of $1780 something due. No invoice, no explanation of why 1 man and less than 4 hours cost almost $1,800, just a text with an amount. I asked for a detailed invoice, he said I would have to take it up with accounting - wait, excuse me?? So I waited for a bill. Nothing. Until I get a letter from a lawyer saying theyre sending me to collections. This is the FIRST piece of paper these people have sent me. Now Im willing to pay more for a lawyer to counter sue then pay them. Horrible. I guess if its an insurance game, they feel justified, but youre going to charge a single mom in the military $1,800 with no explanation of service?? Nope. Bad, bad business.

The workers are great, especially, Chris and they do quality work. My 2 stars comes from dealing with settling the bill and reimbursement from your insurance, it is a nightmare! After getting Disaster Doctor’s quote and payment schedule from our insurance, I decided to do some of the work to save money since I had a $2500 deductible and had to pay $8,000 in plumbing repairs not covered by insurance. I was never paid for hundreds of dollars of work I did that Disaster Doctor got paid for from my insurance company. They agreed up front to pay me for painting, baseboard repairs and replacement, returning all my furniture and reinstalling a microwave only to completely stiff me. They got paid for the work I did and refused to reimburse me. They removed carpet in one room that was not supposed to be removed and agreed to pay for it but when they sent the check, 3 months after the work was done, it was for less than agreed upon. Shady!! Disaster Doctor told me to pay them my deductible and everything else would be covered by my insurance, but afte the fact they kept sending me bills over and above what my insurance paid. Get everything in writing or you may get cheated out of money like I did.

We were concerned that the new home we moved into may have had a mold problem because we kept getting sick. We had a separate company do a mold spore check, and they found that mold spore levels were elevated, so we called the Disaster Doctors to see if they could mitigate the mold problem. Cody came and did a thorough check. He showed me areas of concern, gave me advice on how I could solve it, and answered all of our questions. He was very honest in letting us know that he didnt think our problem was serious enough to justify paying them 2 to 5 grand to get rid of so little dried mold. He told us exactly what we could do instead to fix it (I took a bunch of notes), and its saved us a lot of money! I love the honesty of this company and how helpful and knowledgable their technicians are! They didnt even charge us for Codys visit.

Cody visit our home to do an estimate . But we learned that we need a roofing company instead. Although, we are not going for his company service, Cody referred us to a roofing company that he knows. Im so glad I called Disaster Doctors. My problem was with some water damage and mold concerns in the ceiling/attic, which has been keeping me up at night ever since I found it. This is the worst experience Ive ever had dealing with ANY company. They did not show up when they said they would, came days later. Left dehumidifiers and did not set them up and then several days later when we realized they werent working and called them they tried to blame us and say we unplugged them. Every time we spoke with them (which was way more than it needed to be) they underperformed what they said they would do. Right down to the billing. Horrible company and have no idea how they have a good rating except the guy basically BEGS for you to give him a one and people must feel sorry for such inempt imbeciles.

We very recently had a mold problem in our upstairs closet. Weve never had this kind of problem before, so I we werent really sure who to go with. We got a few recommendations of companies we could try using, and one of the options was Disaster Doctors. I did a little research of these recommended companies, and (expecting this to be a huge project) was going to get quotes from all three companies.The first one I tried was Disaster Doctors because it was a smaller family-owned company and I like to support those whenever I can. Cody was the one who helped me from start to finish, and he was personable, friendly, and professional. And, I felt like he was really good at keeping me updated when he wasnt able to make our first appointment and had to reschedule. Mine wasnt an emergency, and he was helping others with a flood, so I didnt mind rescheduling. When he came and checked it out the next day, it ended up being a much smaller issue than we were expecting, and he took care of everything quickly and easily right then. He explained exactly what he did, tips we could do to avoid mold there in the future, and charged much less than I was anticipating. We really had a good experience with Disaster Doctors, and I would reach out to Cody again to help us if we ever needed it. (Fingers crossed we dont though!)

Great experience with these guys. their pricing was in line with the other quotes I got and I went with them because I liked Garrett and Chandler- the guys that came to the house to give me the bid. Thats a big deal to me- I want to be comfortable and confident in the people I am giving access to my home. The work went well and they went the extra mile to make sure I was kept in the loop and was happy with the work. Would recommend.

We had a big rain storm in our area and got a ton of water that came underneath the door into our basement. We needed to get it cleaned up quickly. I called 2 other companies first and then called Disaster Doctors. With the first 2 companies, one never responded back and the other said they were to busy to help. I called Disaster Doctors and they told be they could be there in 2 hours. They came out and assessed the damage. They let me know the insurance would most likely not cover the damage because of the water source. But they gave me a reduced price and did the work quickly. I was happy with their service.

I strongly recommend against using Disaster Doctors for any home disaster repair. I had a small basement flood in August and contracted with Disaster Doctors for the remediation. They failed to show up for multiple appointments, even when I explained that I had taken time off of work to meet them. They created a lot of additional, unnecessary damage during their cleanup. When it came time to make the repairs, different workers also failed to show up for multiple appointments and then stopped returning my calls at all. After several weeks, I contacted another company that did the work. Disaster Doctors then tried to invoice my insurance company for more than double the estimate they gave me for the remediation--much of which was for work they did not do and was not needed. It took three months and dozens of communications with them in order to finally get an accurate invoice. They turned a small flood into a months-long nightmare.

Cody stopped by to assess some water damage. After having 2 other companies come bye unable to diagnose the issue at hand Cody had the source of the problem diagnosed within 15 min. He gave me a plan of attack on how to fix the issue correctly and within reason. I really appreciate the professionalism and the communication as he is clearly a master at his craft. I more than anything appreciate the plan and honest approach to a solution as others quoted me extremely high prices without even knowing what the real issue & problem was. I would strongly recommend this company if you are I need of professional honest help in dealing with water damage. Excellent work done by this company. I had a water heater explode in my home, and Garrett showed up right away, with equipment ready to start cleaning up. They even worked with my insurance company, which was a relief. After they got it all cleaned up, they even handled the repairs necessary to get everything back to normal. I hope I never have to use these guys again, but if I ever experience another disaster, I know exactly who to call!

Their cleanup crew is amazing! Cameron is a hard-working, knowledgeable and. Most of the competitors had 10 hour waits if not longer. They have great communication and great response time. They handle all the insurance discussion and paperwork too. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would happily use them if I ever needed it!
