Moriah, I want to first thank you for helping restore our property the proper way. Your kindness, knowledge and quick action after dealing with two other horrible companies that didnt help us at all. You made the process easy and lessened the burden on us, for that we are grateful. Keep up the great work!SincerelyThe Sanchez family
We bought our home in March and in that same month we had a water leak through our drain pipe that went down to our basement. We called our home owners insurance and they sent Belfor out immediately to get them started. John and Fernando arrived and started working on everything and did such a great job with communication and getting everything in order and keeping us as comfortable as possible while we were still in the home with all the equipment. After mitigation was done we mostly worked with some employees who no longer work for the company but did a wonderful job at customer service and keeping us updated and in the loop of all the things to be fixed from the damage and my constant questions always being answered in a timely manner.Lastly, we were assigned with Kayla for the remaining part of the work to be completed and she has been the most amazing to work with, she is such a gem and someone that the company should be proud to have as an employee. She has dealt with my frustrations with all our new home has given us and has gone above and beyond in customer service. If I were her manager I’d definitely be praising her work ethic and reminding her that she’s an asset to the company. If we ever have anything happen again, Belfor is definitely who I’d want to have here. They pick incredible contractors to fix the damages, my floors, carpets and walls that had damage look better than they did before and I happily would hire each contractor for separate side jobs I’d need as they’re that great!
John (North Salt Lake) came out to survey the damage to our hardwood floors in a powder room with a water leak - the wood slats were cupping and we were fearful the entire flooring would have to be replaced (if it could even be matched to the surrounding floor). We also were worried about potential damage that was unseen as well as mold concerns.John surveyed the area and was confident that using heat blankets and a dehumidifier would be successful. He couldnt have been more correct - 3 days later, we have a powder room floor that looks exactly as it did before the event. He also did an extensive search with high-tech equipment to assure us there was no hidden damage or any mold.We couldnt be more satisfied with the work John did. He was extremely professional, on-time, and took time to answer all our questions. I called him to coordinate his visits and he answered every call on the second ring - how refreshing!John is your guy at Belfor North Salt Lake. Look no where else for water damage mitigation.
John Sperry took great care of us! Fast, efficient, superior quality. Our property looks better than brand new after our last flood experience. Our new turn to disaster cleanup company.
Belfor is awful. . They were referred by my insurance company and I would nver recommend them to snyone. There was no communication on there part when someone would be here. And when someone was the work was terrible. Its a year later and its still not done.
What a disappointment! I had to sit and beg and repeatedly call them at least a dozen times just to get them to come out and give me a bid on my roof repairs from the wind storm. They would tell me they would call back that day and they wouldn’t and then I’d have to bug them some more and it went round and round. I believe I had to literally call them at least 12 times over the course of a month. They finally came out and gave me a bid and they were almost double my other bids. I asked for an itemized bid that would break down costs of parts versus labor etc. He said they don’t do that and then he literally said he is in the business of making money. What a joke! I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I got a wonderful job done elsewhere for half the price and they did it in a timely fashion without me having to babysit them every step of the way. They were extremely professional unlike Belfor. Don’t waste your time or your money!!!!!!
John Sperry swung by my house today and helped walk me through some steps I need to take to take care of a little bit of water damage in my garage. Came to find out he was off the clock. I definitely recommend belfor restoration.
Very responsive to our water leak. We are early in the process of restoration but so far I’m impressed with the work done to mitigate damage. John Sperry came out to the property quickly to start drying out the leak. We’ve discussed his plan to repair the damage and I am optimistic the the work will go well.
John Sperry came and looked at an old water damage in my home. He was very informative on the mold removal process and steps needed. I will definitely recommend!!
Belfor was assigned to us by USAA for flood/flooring, wall damage. They were a pleasure to work with; communication with Randy and Mariah was exceptional and the job was completed quickly with professionalism. We were so impressed and so happy that USAA recommended Belfor. We would call Belfor again.
Within an hour of calling Balfor (a pipe burst, flooding my basement), Jake and John got to my house and figured out how far the water had gone and what they could do to mitigate the damage. By the next day, they had taken off the sheetrock, removed soaked insulation, and started drying the frame. I went from super-stressed to reassured—I was fully confident they were experts and would take care of everything. I cant say enough about their professionalism, expertise, and communication. I will recommend them to everyone from now on!
We had water damage at the end of October. They came to inspect and evaluate at the beginning of November. Not once have they reached out to contact me since. My insurance company said they received the quote but I never did. I called BelforJanuary 18th to see if they were ever going to come back and fix my house. I was told that they would send someone out that week. 2 weeks later still nothing. I finally called my insurance company and told them that this company is awful and I dont want them to do anything to my house. Seriously!?
Belfor sent Moriah Bell to work with us on our property damage from recent hurricane force winds. Moriah is amazing going above and beyond to work with the insurance company to make things right. Unbelievable service!
Took this company five months to do and 80 square foot vinyl floor replacement and flood repair. I literally called them weekly for two months before it got done. Very slow service, but of course their billing is prompt and happy to threaten me with legal action on Christmas Eve and two days later about the bill. Why should I be prompt if they arent?
I worked with Moriah Bell and she was fantastic! She was timely and effective. If we worked with any company on our project, it would be with Belfor Property Restoration and with Moriah Bell. We decided to handle the project on our own.
These guys showed up at my house within two hours of calling them in the middle of the night. Justin who was the tech who came out was super fast to respond. He was great to answer questions and keep me informed about what was going on with my house.
So I absolutely loved my interaction with Belfor!! The man that worked with me his name is Vince. He was so great and did what he said he’d do and above that. He was honest and compassionate and seemed to really care about my situation and went above and beyond to help my family through our horrible issue. Broke. Sewer line enough said. I would recommend Belfor to anyone and I will. Side note to Belfor you’re lucky to have an employee like Vince . Even though he was going through a personal issue he still called me and made sure things was getting done.
Belfor responses quick to our flood . They communicated every week and we were kept in the loop throughout the process . The craftsmanship and work was top of the line . Thank you Belfor !
4 years ago I had a fire in my home in Utah and Belfor was hired to rebuild the house. The contractors they hired were below average. Before I moved home the door frame to my washroom needed to be moved because the furnace they installed was to big and you could not shut the door to my washroom. With in the first few months of moving home there was a leak under my kitchen sink that needed everything replaced then we noticed the plumbers cleaned my tub knobs with something that was eating away at them so they needed to be replaced. We also had problem electrical which mind you we had an electrical fire so this was reassuring the breaker box had wires crossed and last but not least they forget to seal the vents on the top of my roof and it leaked down the side of my bedroom wall. Now its been 4 years and you think quality workmanship would last correct? Well this is not the case today my bathroom sink leaked because they put two metal pipes flush against each other but didnt connect together ..so i should feel lucky correct..its lasted this long but now i have water under my cabinets again and i dont know if there is mold. Prior to this incident other things have happened in the bathroom like cracked sheet rock in 3 places above my tub, the new toliet is cracked all the way down the tank and behind the toliet there is yellow coloring on the base board ..im just hoping thats not more water damage. All I can say is I will never recommend this company to anyone. The fire was bad but this is never ending.
I had Belfor out on a large flood claim in an apartment building affecting 12 apartments. To start the salesman said Dont worry your insurance is going to pay for all of this. 4 weeks later and we were still trying to dry out apartments and Id often see vacant apartments with equipment sitting and not running which explains the reason for the long remediation time. After going through the difficult remediation process we elected to use another company to complete the repairs which is when Id hope the trouble with Belfor would have ended but it didnt. After several months of requesting invoices for insurance and being told that they were being reviewed by corporate we still couldnt get a copy of the invoice for remediation. When we finally received the invoice on July 2nd which was almost 4 months after the initial flood we learned that Belfor had placed a lien on the property because of non-payment even though we hadnt received an invoice timely.Typically remediation isnt as expensive as rebuilding but in this case it was very close,If I were to go back and work on this same flood I would call another provider to take care of remediation...
This company sent a mimimal invoice, they would not communicate with us after the work was done. Come to find out they are trying to charge us for work we did! Not them! And the GM, Jeff is calling me a liar saying they did the work! I was there as well as 4 family members who HELPED to do said work!!! This is the worst, shadiest and rudest company! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY SHADY!!!!
We worked great together.
We recently just dealt with Moriah at Belfor on a property . She was amazing and job ran smoothly . I highly recommend BELFOR property restoration for any of your repair or water emergency needs
My washer flooded utility room and walls and underneath house. Belfor came out immediatley and dried it all out. Jason was understanding about the inconvenience it was causing and when told to go ahead with the restoration, he did a fantastic job. Quality workmanship and quality materials. They were finished quickly and very good to work with.
These guys really know their stuff, great to work with, awesome customer service.
The GM is a child. He showed up at 7pm in the pitch black to my home and banged on my door and rang the doorbell (both more than once) freaked out my kids and when I confronted him on the phone his responses were as follows“I’m sorry your kids thought I was the boogie man”“I was prior law inforcement and that was not banging on your door”“You live ina neighborhood that if I was breaking in your neighbors would know!”All while laughing while I tried explaining that you don’t conduct business (payment collection which was my fault and actually mailed that day) in the dark after normal business hours wearing all black and a hoodie. My kids were very freaked out and he didn’t care because I was late with my check. The men who came to do the work were awesome, this GM Jeff though,He acted like an idiot on the phone and was extremely rude and unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere.
I wouldnt hire this company after what just happened. I am downtown have a handicap placard. They are doing some work and are parked in the handicap parking. I showed them my placard and they just shrugged their shoulders laughed and kept working. So very very professional.
An ok website, could be much better
Actually just got off the phone with the general manager here, Jeff. I had some miscommunications with my insurance company about what needed to be done so I have Belfor stop the restoration at just ripping out the carpet, since we werent sure what needed to be done. I called them to see about getting a report on what else needed to be done and Jeff (the general manager) was incredible offended I told them to stop. I honestly felt like I was talking to a 14 year old throwing a tantrum. Just refused to work with me because I wouldnt agree to every service they offered. I dont think Ill be using them again.
