This is my first experience with Vinx and so far I have been very happy. Hayden was my first contact and he was very professional, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained their service’s. Scott was our technician and was great. He was very helpful in explaining the services he was providing and what we could expect going forward. Any questions or concerns I had were answered in a very timely manner.

The service manager was very educated on the technique and helped explain the process and expectations to me. They took down a wasp nest I hadnt even noticed yet. Was very pleasant and accommodating. The process was very smooth and I was able to have all my concerns addressed and treated.

Heather came out to treat my home today, she explained everything that she would be doing and what to expect after the treatment was complete. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I am very satisfied with my experience so far with Vinx!

I had a member come out and was super nice, but didn’t seem very knowledgeable on the problem. He told me incorrect information so I called the office as soon as he left. They got an awesome worker out named Heather same day ASAP. She had a lot of information and steps to do next. The branch manager said the next (if needed) follow up would be free / on them because of this inconvenience. I’m glad they stood behind their company and really care for their customers. I had a visit by the door to door marketer/salesman Hayden. We discussed their packages, which seemed reasonable, but I was very clear that I wanted to review it and discuss before making a decision. I got a contract emailed to me with the wrong last name, wrong address, and was never signed by me. The next day I received a phone call to confirm my service and contract setup and payment. Unprofessional and frustrating, but glad I answered my phone to prevent the service from starting.**UPDATE: Hayden reached out and took ownership of the mistake, which was professional and not expected. I’m ultimately staying with my current provider, but I’m also willing to acknowledge when a company addresses a wrong and does so in a courteous way.

The company rep Cadin and the tech Leon were great. Leon is very professional and did a thorough job and came back to explain what he did and what I might expect. Great demeanor. Looking forward to this pest company experience. Thanks again Leon!

Ryan came out quickly after scheduling and did a through explanation of what services he would perform and answered all of my questions.

Scott was very knowledgeable and answered questions I had with a high level of detail. He understood the behavior of the ants we had an issue with in our home and designed a treatment program after inspecting their territory.

Quick update, the owner did add his feedback and we were able to come to a resolution very quickly.Thank you.I called to cancel my subscription 6/1/21 because my house sold 4/28/21. When I initially called them, they did not explain the cancellation process and I was told I would get a call back the same day and I never did. They still charged my account 6/3/21. When I called to ask them why I was charged I was told they need a 30-day notice to cancel.When I tried to speak with a supervisor, he told me that they need proof that I sold my home. He also wanted me to pay $99.00 when I only have 1 month left on a 12-month contract.Look its customer service Ill pay the extra $35.00, but man you guys lost a customer over $35.00.

Read through all these reviews before you wasted your hard earned money. Everything the negative reviews are writing is true! They went door to door in my neighborhood, which does have No soliciting. I was in need of yard pest control since my mother in law was here and has planted a new garden. The sales man didn’t give all the fine details of course. So what I find out is I’m paying $40 every month for them to come out every 3 months to spray. So basically $120 for one spray. You can go to home depot or Lowe’s and spend $120 and get 6 months of almost equally decent spray yourself. If $120 every 3 months to you is good for one spray then this company is for you. Just remember, your locked into their contract for a year which is worthless. Waster your money or save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Lesson learned here to read more reviews on companies..

Even when reminded, no masks are worn. Read everything very carefully and not necessarily what the salesman says. Cheaper is not always better. Can’t wait for contract to end.

We dont know the quality yet because its only been a few hours, but everything else we know is wonderful! Were assuming the quality will be too. Our tech, John, was very nice. Id never heard of Vinx before, but our friend uses them and said theyre good. We found out for ourselves!Edit: The quality is great! I absolutely hate the Palmetto bugs and we havent seen any in the house. We used to see them several times a week.

The attitude and politeness was nice. Professional and dedicated. They said if I see any pest they willCome back. I didn’t have any concerns about the two nice guys that came in my home. Salesman was super pushy. Name dropped several neighbors around me saying they signed when in fact they didn’t. Attempting to start a business relationship with lies is not ok nor professional.

Our technician John Simmons and our sales rep Kyle Starr were both great. They really understand South Carolina’s pest control is not the same as every other state and don’t give a one size fits all service. John found some pest issues we weren’t even aware we had - a hornets nest! We Highly recommend Vinx!

We had our first treatment with Vinx today and I was highly impressed. John was very thorough. He listened to our concerns and addressed them. We have had a problem with wasps building nests around our house and he not only made sure to knock down even the nests that were very high up but he sprayed to make sure they don’t come back. John was very professional and courteous. I hope to see John next time. I am very hopeful that we have found our new long term pest control company !

Great company! Christian Came out and took care of our house and yard and was very punctual and got down to business as soon as he got here. I spoke with a girl at a house I was babysitting at. She was very nice. I told her I would let her know what I decide. That was cool. Then a few days later, a boy was door to door and came to my house (no mask) while I was busy. He knocked, I didnt answer. He then stood at my door for several minutes and knocked multiple times before leaving. If I dont answer the first time, go away.

We wanted to give Vinx a shot because of their guarantee and service packages. With them being new to the area, I had some trepidation, but gave them a shot. The service pro was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. He explained in great detail all of what they would provide, as well as asking what issues we were experiencing, to ensure that those were addressed. Once he was finished he showed me some issues that he discovered while also showing all of the treated areas. I would definitely recommend them as a pest control provider.

John showed up on time, walk me through exactly what he was going to be doing and explained afterwards what he found. Very specific and attention to detail. A bonus was adding granules to my yard as well.I had aruza pest control before and they to are a good company but they did not service the inside of my garage like Vinx. A couple bucks more a month makes a difference.Another added bonus: The new tool they have they sprays between the cracks of the siding. I can definitely see how this will be beneficial in the long run. All in all, I’m very satisfied. Plus they are local. 3rd added bonus

Jeremiah came out and did everything that was explained that Vinx does. We had an issue with some of the previous technicians not doing the job correctly the day before but Vinxs customer service handled it immediately and Zack said what they did is not Vinx standard and sent Jeremiah out to correct it the next day.My 5 stars is for Jeremiah and the Vinx customer service. Zack was quick to make things right and Jeremiah was very polite and courteous going above and beyond.

John was very prompt!! I really didnt expect anyone to arrive that early when given a 2hr window. He was here within the 1st 20min of the 8am-10am window!!!! Super Awesome!! John explanation and resolution to my fly concerns were great! Look forward to calling them for any other critters I see around my house.

They installed the Sentricon (spelling?) system. I am anxious to discover if any termites took the bait! Vinx Pest Control Company continues to exceed in all their work. I have already found dead bugs, a positive sign their treatment works. I highly recommend Vinx to provide pest control services.

With engagement of services at an extremely reasonable cost in understandable terms one day by the next day Chris the Technician was on site. The key is they do what they say they are going to do and the pests disappear thereafter. I know that although this service is new in Charleston that they will be successful by the footprint that I have seen so far.

Unfortunately have to give 1 star just to write review, but this company deserves ZERO stars!!! Kid with glasses, I believe his name was Cam, stopped at our house in Cane Bay on 6/24. Refused to stay 6ft away after being requested to due to COVID. He claimed his brother owned company and he was authorized to make any deals necessary. Not only would he not take no for an answer but continually refused to practice social distancing. Stay away from us and dont you dare knock on my door again.

I would never sign up for your pest control service. There was a man in my neighborhood going door to door during this whole Covid thing selling your services. He refused to take no for an answer. I finally had to shut the door in his face. You need to train your salesman better. His name is Cam if you would like to contact him on this but he claimed to be the owner’s brother, which I do not even think that was true. He tried negotiating on the price, which I don’t think he could actually even do. He even tried to schedule me for a visit on Saturday when I had told him no multiple times. I hope he never comes to my door again!

The Vinx team is really customer focused, from the initial phone call to the service technician Chris who assessed and serviced my property. I have no clue what pest control services I need, the Vinx team brought me up to speed and educated me so that I could choose the right prevention.

This company deserves one star only because I HAD to give a star to write this review like other reviews they have they deserve ZERO! As a small business owner myself I am VERY DISCOURAGED on how they handle there “small family owned” business. We had two services and one re service and were due for our third... we gave them THREE chances to rid of the nasty spiders and roaches which mind you we NEVER had until they started treating our home.. finally after giving them the “three strike” rule we were done, our children are now being bit by these massive spiders (I have pictures) my children are very small.. we ended up having to buy our own spray because I don’t want my children being harmed! I called and Politely told them my frustrations asking to cancel, and having the kind heart I do towards other small businesses I hung up without proceeding to talk with my husband about the situation (mind you the entire phone call of me trying to cancel I was told I was wrong and they have the best product around and was belittled by whomever was in the cancellation department) my husband then took it into his own hands well because who wants there wife being disrespected by a “professional” MAN.. he was under the impression it was canceled and all taken care of until “zack” texted him about our reservice. That’s when we lost our patients a little more... zack informed us that we had to pay a cancellation fee or he would be sending it to collections after we had already thought this entire problem was “resolved”. I read the contract I signed and it states “money back gaurentee” basically stating if they cannot get rid of the pests we will be given our service charge back... I then called AGAIN and asked to talk with a manager and lie and behold it was ZACK again. The amount of disrespect I reserved during that phone call from being laughed at, (which I have recorded) to being told I’m naïve to pest control (recorded also) I told him to take all the money they owe us for there “money back guarantee and use it for the cancellation and we will be good to go. I’m not asking for a refund I just don’t want to be out anymore money than I already am on something that doesn’t work and the pests are so awful that my kids have welts (I have pictures of that ALSO) zack told me that being a small business owner I should know a contract is a contract and I said absolutely not if we go to someone’s home and “fix” the same issue THREE times and it’s still not correct and it’s hurting there family SCREW the contract I’m sorry and will do whatever it takes to resolve the issue. Long story short I got absolutely no where besides disrespected by multiple employees in this company. And thrown in my face “the owner is my brother” reading other reviews seems like the employees use this like frequently to GET OUT of real life problems. Cam is a brother so he doesn’t have to social distance, zack is a brother so he can laugh and call people naïve..I was more than polite I love supporting other small businesses because I know it’s not easy! But SHAME on this company!! I will be filing a report with the SC local business complaint department, as well as a lawyer.If you don’t want HUGE bugs and DISRESPECT the. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

So far Im happy with Vinx. We were using a different company before, and they didnt deliver so we switched to Vinx. I had some concerns about German roaches, so I called them on a Friday to see if they could come spray again, John came here Monday morning, he was very polite and patiently answered all my questions. I havent see any roaches in my house since he last visited.

I was startled today by multiple doorbell rings (which I was ignoring), only to open the door to a pushy salesboy that would not leave... even though my door was an inch open and I was deflecting everything. He was also VERY close to me with no mask or gloves on.A. Your company shouldn’t be soliciting door-to-door at all.B. You especially shouldn’t be soliciting during a pandemic with your salespeople not following social distancing guidelines... no mask, no gloves, no personal space.I will NEVER use your company based off of this experience alone. Bad approach. Not a method to gain new potential customers trust.
