Well, my beginning experience was great, Matthew was the exterminator, very friendly, but I started questioning their honesty, they stated they made a home visit and no one was home so he sprayed the outside, that was incorrect because I have cameras around my home, checked there was no sign of anyone spraying the outside, spoke to the office and wasnt satisfied with their answer of why they charged my card and lied that they did the work, my home isnt infested by roaches but every now and then I see a few in different places, I still have the same traps down a young lady put in at the beginning of my contract, Matthew never changed them out, I asked him a few times but it was never done, I had to cancel my appointment a few times because of work and a bad case of sinusitis, so they cancelled my contract instead of calling to find out if I was dissatisfied or what. I called today to schedule them on Saturday, but was told my contract has been cancelled, I never knew there was a rule that you couldnt miss any appointments, well, thanks and NO THANKS to MR. Orkin Man.. I had to purchase roach motels on my own because it was never done, you people need to communicate with your customers before you cancel the accounts..I hope the owner of Orkin reads this review and realize the company is losing money because of their poor customer service..

Experienced, friendly and knowledgeable techs. Having lived with a German cockroach infestation and attempted to cure them myself for months, they managed to remove like 99% of them in two treatments. Fully expecting to be pest free by the end of the year. I don’t know if they’re the cheapest in town but with the level of service they provide they shouldn’t be trying to be. Would recommend 100%.

Orkin completely wasted my time. We had an inspector come check out what we were afraid was a termite problem. It turned out to be a wood boring beetle problem. When I followed up with the technician to ask for a quote on tenting and fumigation (which he suggested and which he assured me they offered), he never got back to me. I finally called the branch manager after 3 days, and they told me they do not actually offer this service. What a waste.

Technician was on time and courteous. He repaired the fallen moisture shield and checked the humidifier. He was finished quickly and provided an excellent followup report. He advise the humidifier filter needed changed saying within two weeks someone would be here to replace the filter as well as the batteries in the moisture transmitter and receiver.

Regular scheduled service. Unhappy with the fact that I dont get more warning as to when someone will show. Im not home more often when they come then I am home. Outside service is not enough. I would prefer an actual appt. May end this service because of that fact.

Great service but way to many automated notifications of the service before and after the visit. I prefer not to have my phone light up 5 times between email and text that I have a service on the way. One reminder is sufficient

This is my second call to check if there’s new termite infestation since my first year renewal. I pointed to the manager who came to check of possible new sites, one of which was not there before. I was told that Orkin could not do anything like retreatment or preventive measures until I can get it inspected by another carpenter to make sure it is indeed infested before Orkin will do anything. The reason I used Orkin is so I have peace of mind and they will come to check for failure of their initial service or warranty should I need it. Now I have to get someone to inspect it because Orkin won’t. I am not satisfied with Orkin warranty.

Chelsea was our exterminator and she was amazing. She was early, nice, funny, and helped us with our rat situation in a calm manner (which we needed!) She answered any questions we had and made us feel very comfortable about our situation as two scared college girls. Explained everything perfectly I would 100% recommend this company and ask for Chelsea.

Jacob Massey came today for our termite inspection, he was very polite, thorough and informative about the results of the inspection. He also complimented the upkeep of the yard which helps keep the termites and other bugs away. He did social distancing as required during this trying time which I appreciated. My overall experience was very satisfactory as always.

The representative was.prompt to schedule a home visit. The following morning the technician came to the house, on time, and completely evaluated the parameter of the home. He found several areas that could potentailly lead to a rodent issue under the home and offered advice to fix the issues.He also went under the home and inspected the entire crawlspace.I definitely felt comfortable talking to the representative and appreciated his expertise on rodent issues.I highly recommend Orkin for all your needs. They are the first person control anyone should use.

Ive had a few service techs with this company and the current one does an outstanding job. He is super thorough and takes his time and really makes sure all parts of the house are hit. Especially with the dusting of bugs and cobwebs.

I have been dealing with humpback flies in my home for 3 years. My former pest control company couldnt treat for the flies. Orkin is the only company that knew Anything about humpback flies. Orkin is doing everything they can to get rid of these pests for me. Today I had my 3rd quarterly service and seldom see any pests. I wish I could give a zero star review. Over the last year 1.25 years we have had nothing but issues with Orkin. They were suppose to install a dry zone in our crawl space in July 2018, it took about two months for them to finally install it, we thought everything was good with it but a year later in 2019 the inspector came in and informed us that the dehumidifier was not installed correctly, it was missing the sensor, and that it had in fact stopped working. We were also informed that the sump pump was not installed correctly and was not ever plugged in to begin with. I had tried to contact Orkin since July 2019 to resolve the problem. Every time I called either I was told that someone would contact me to schedule an appointment. If an appointment was scheduled then no one would show up to the house. If someone did end up showing up to the house they would not call us and tell us what they did to the dry zone. The only way we found out that they had stopped by once was that they had left our side gate open and our friend’s dog escaped, and there was a small hose sticking out of a crawl space vent hanging over our railing—still no call that instance to inform us they had come. This has been a nightmare. I would never recommend, and if any damage was done to the house due to their negligence we are considering further actions.

If you are using Orkin, be careful. They have double-billed us for services NOT rendered. We had the day off even they were supposed to do an indoor/outdoor treatment and they never came. When we called to let them know, we were told that they did come and that we were mistaken, because the worker said they came. Meanwhile, the bills keep coming.Dont get scammed. Were going to call again in hopes of speaking to someone who doesnt tell us weve got to be wrong and accuse us of lying.I hope they make this right. But for now, Im leaving 1 star because I wasnt able to leave zero.

A+ service from these folks! My apartment complex uses Orkin for our pest control. I’ve lived here 3 years and only ever had one live palmetto bug inside, which is a major accomplishment in Charleston! The technicians are always very professional, and very thorough- last time they were here I could tell the technician was in training and the sweet lady training him kindly reminded him that our apartment has two bathrooms and that both should be inspected/treated. I have a very social 1 year old and they even stopped to take the time to say hi to her, which means more to her than they could ever know. They always leave a little note stating they were here if we were not home when they came by.

I canceled my service due to being charged for services that were not rendered. I was suppose to receive my refund of 250.00 which I have never received and today I found out that you charged my account $104.00 when I specifically told you that if you took any money out of my acct. I was going to contact my attorney. I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau and I will be taking you to small claims court! You had better have someone call me. I will be going to my bank tomorrow and filing a complaint against you for stealing money from my acct.! I want my money back. This is now in your court and if you dont take care of this ASAP and refund ALL of my money, we will be in court and your name ORKIN will be well known and it wont be good. Hired Orkin about 8 months ago and signed up for a contract with them. Unfortunately, still having intermittent bug problems so I scheduled a touch up treatment for today. I scheduled this appointment a week ago and took the day off work to ensure that I could be there to meet the tech between 8 am and 10 am. Just received a call at 9:45 am After waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes) that the tech was unavailable today and would not be coming. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told he was also unavailable. Isnt that convenient? They also advised that they didnt have any other techs who could come out today and do a treatment. Needless to say, I will be speaking to a manger, even if it means I have to drive to the local office. Why pay for a service every month that doesnt work and then request a service that the company doesnt even show up for? Im happy to take my money and business to a more competent service provider. Absolutely would not recommend Orkin.

Contacted to deal with a yellow jacket colony in our front yard after they stung my two daughters. The gentleman that came out was professional and knowledgeable and dealt with the colony and sprayed to make sure they didn’t pop up anywhere else.

The company had sent a new Orkin tech and switched my normal Tech Leah and changed her route. The new Tech obviously wasn’t trained properly and did a very poor job. I called and asked for Leah to be put back on my route or I’d switch with a different company. I was very happy to see Leah back this morning because she is amazing and knows her job very well and CLEARLY is a huge asset to your company. So 5 stars for Leah and more future training for the new employee.
