Ive been living here for over a year now and its great. Quiet and safe community. The maintenance team especially Amos, is always quick to fix any issues I have.

Service requests always completed in a timely fashion and updates sent as soon as completed! Very professional staff. Enjoy living on this property.

First place I get to call my own and it has been very pleasant. Office staff is very courteous. Maintenance is impeccable. Thanks Matt for all your help. Only downside is the apartment I stay in doesnt have a hook up for washer and dryer so I have to use the on site washroom and the machines are often broken. Most times I wont find out that theyre broken until Ive already deposited my quarters and then it doesnt turn on. A coin machine would be a good investment there. Decent neighborhood. Never had any complaints. Im definitely planning on staying.

I love living at Archdale Forest! Neighbors are chill, friendly and don’t really make noise. Maintenance is really good here- my dishwasher went out and it was taken care of in less than a day. (I hate hand washing dishes). So that was extremely important. The office staff has their stuff together. They are really professional and helpful and that can be hard to find, especially when you are looking for good housing but can not afford Charleston prices. I’d recommend Archdale to anyone needing an apartment.

My granddaughters Godmother lived here and both her and my daughter-in-law highly recommended this complex. It is inexpensive, which is important on a fixed budget, and It is easy to get most anywhere in Charleston from this location. Ive lived here nearly a year now and I LOVE IT! The staff are courteous and Ive had no problem getting any maintenance work completed in a timely manner. While the complex itself is older, it is well kept up. While they do allow barbecuing outside, it must be on their grills, but it is only to keep us safe from fires. I feel safe here and I highly recommend it!!!

The maintenance staff is awesome! Dave and Chris are two of the hardest working guys Ive ever met. Anytime I have a maintenance issue its usually fixed the same day if not immediately. Ive called in an issue from work and came home to a note on my counter with what was done, the status of ongoing repairs, and the expected completion time on the job. Top notch maintenance staff!

The maintenance crew is AMAZING! They are always available to help without hesitation. The supervisor Melissa has helped me with flat tire until I could get to mechanic. This morning Melissa and Estavon helped me with gas until I got to gas station.Two of my days would of gone terrible if it wasnt for maintenance crew!!!

Absolutely amazing staff! This is my first time having my very own place with my family and the process has been absolutely phenomenal. Mrs. Octavia has been very helpful, patient, and very supportive throughout the process. Cant wait to move in!

We’ve lived here for 4 years now and we have had our issues with the maintenance crew in the past. I always felt like things were rushed and corners were cut. Recently an entirely new crew was brought in and the difference they are making is absolutely amazing!! I am SO pleased!! Estavon, Matt, and Melissa have SO much knowledge in this field, they explain things well and always work in a VERY timely manner! They are ALWAYS friendly and I’m always comfortable inviting them into my home (which hasn’t always been the case with some of the past maintenance men) I’m so happy with the changes they have made within our community and I VERY MUCH hope they plan on keeping this crew around because good people are not always easy to find!

Awesome community. I have been here almost a year. Great neighbors. Rent you cant find to be in a safe community. Community events. There is a Cares Team to see if you are happy in your surroundings. Any Maintence problem has been taken of care asap. Quiet. There was an incident that was only the news but you can have that in have that in any community. Very happy to be here.

We have called Archdale home for about one and a half years now. In this time, we have had interactions with the staff and other neighbors. From these interactions, I can honestly say I feel very safe and welcome in this community. The front staff are very welcoming and will always have a smile (and candy) for anyone who walks through the door. I have never had a bad neighbor here; many are small families who are eager to greet you with a wave and smile. The maintenance team will always be there to assist you if anything goes wrong, and they make you feel like a part of their family. The rent is very fair, the electricity bill isnt too high, and the places are clean. Lastly, they have a cares team that brings exciting activities to do during the month which can range from a movie to planting flowers to bring home! Archdale Forest is an amazing place to call home!

I had a few maintenance issues come up and called the office to let them know while I was at work. By the time I arrived home that evening everything had been taken care of with a nice note letting me know what was done. Everything was in perfect working order. Never had a problem that they werent able to fix quickly.

Archdale is beautiful and we are so excited to be a future resident in two weeks. Octavia works in the office and has been nothing but extremely helpful to us and answered any questions we had to ask! Highly recommend this place as home! 😊

Absolutely amazing. Placed a request for garbage disposal, dishwasher and pest control and they were all taken care of within 24 hours. I love the response and the staff are amazing!!!

Ive been a resident for about 2 years now. Its a nice, fairly quiet neighborhood. Every issue that I have had has been addressed very quickly. I had a hot water tank leak a while ago and then a water pipe burst a few weeks ago and the maitenece guys responded quickly and were so very kind and respectful of my home. Also, I had a few neighbor issues and management was also quick to respond to take care of those issues as well. I gave 4 stars only because the apartments are very clearly older and have older equipment (i.e. the hot water tank I had issues with, the dishwasher, the fridge, the shower head, the stoce) and it needs to be updated. Also, its not very well insulated. That freak snow storm we had my downstairs of my townhouse wasnt much warmer than it was outside despite the fact that my heat was on very high. I was under 3 blankets. But even when it was still cold but no snow on the ground, it was still very cold downstairs. Other than those things I think its a good place to live. Very pet friendly, very responsive to issues that come up, and a fairly quiet neighborhood as well. Oh and I may also add that when the maintenance issues came up the guys were also very respectful of the fact that I work night shift and was sleeping during the day. When they would come in they would be as quiet as they could be to fix whatever needed fixing I appreciated that very much.

I feel safe walking my dog at even 2 o-clock in the morning! Its a wonderful neighborhood!

Cheap for what you get, good maintenance people, terrible terrible awful management. They like to put eviction notices on door for little things like missing a water bill. Will charge you for everything they can think of. The ladies in the office develop very condescending attitudes in a hurry when you inquire about any of their crap. Would be a good place to live if you are OCD enough not get on their radar. Otherwise stay away, not worth the hassle.

It was a horrible place to live. The neighbors are great but the management was horrible. They dont want you outside talking to your neighbors or grilling in your backyard. They are also bias they say they are breed restricted but i know a young lady that have a pitbull that lives there right now. They tell her walk at night or early morning. Then theres the kicker if you dont renew your lease they DOUBLE YOUR RENT!!!!! Ex 600-1200 a month

Carpet was admitted to being 8 years old (which Im pretty sure is some kind of code violation), rest of apartment looked outdated and heavily used, management is difficult to talk with as they are immediately on the defensive about anything critical you might bring up, they also will try to get you moved out as quickly as possible despite you technically still paying rent and have another tenet moved in, they also have a tendency of entering your apartment without advanced notice and without a real reason as I had false information about broken blinds which they left a note but then while calling back to try and understand what they were referring to they couldnt recall even entering my apartment despite the note being left on the counter (received no notice about them entering) they also would enter to do inspection essential a guise to check and make sure you werent too dirty for them, but a complete violation of privacy, Please take this advice and find a cheaper place that will respect you

Crystal, the GM I guess, is incredibly terrible and honestly needs to go back high school. Shes an idiot and hires nothing but terrible employees. They can never handle anything. Our A/C was broken for a month and they took forever to fix it. Our dishwasher is literally falling out of the counter. Still not fixed. Our showerhead spews so lightly. Do not live here. At all. Its torture. Terrible Maintenence. Terrible and outdated apartments. Terrible front office. Just absolutely terrible. Id give 0 stars if I could honestly.

Ignored my email when I was following up asking for information about an apartment.

These apartments are poorly built and neighbors stand out side talking loudly or blaring music all times of night and very early in the morning. I would not move here if u want peace and quiet.

Infested with Roaches & fleas!!!!!!! Moved in and moved right back out!!! Just horrible, and management is just nasty and rude!!! Deserves 0 stars 😑
