Unless you have no other option do not move here. They do not care about the residents or the apartment complex in general. It’s always filthy. There is always some problem with this place. My neighbors are also terrible. Constantly throwing trash off there balcony or blasting music late into the night. As soon as I moved into this place I wanted to move out. I will be moving out sooner than later. Lastly, the pictures you see online and the apartment they show you is not what it seems. Don’t waste your money because you can find a way nicer place for the same price.

These people don’t never answer they dang phone. Me and my Fiancé did a application here two months ago and we paid the application fee and stuff together, it took us a month to find out if we were approve we wasn’t, the we was supposed to get our fee back if we didn’t get approved never got it instead my fiancé got a letter saying she did pay her application fee like what the heck. DONT WASTE UR TIME HERE!!!

I very much enjoy living here with my two kids. The area is quiet and there are tons of things on property and areas for my kids to play. I love how convenient it is to everything I need. Kudos to the maintenance staff for getting things taken care of fast!

If your on a budget this can work for you and your family but its old and has a lot of issues. Roaches, mold and clogged plumbing are the top three. If your looking for amenities you best look elsewhere. I only lived here as long as I did for the excellent middle school right across the road but I wanted to move out of here the day I moved in. The apartment you are shown is not the apartment you will get. Yours will be in desprit need of major repair.

I lived here years ago, and the mold behind those walls will kill you. Its a money making things folks, its up to you to pay or say hell to the no.

So at first it was nice But they dont tell you when it rains your carpet in the rooms gets wet because the sewer line is back up or when it gets cold youll hear rats running around the walls. Management team seems liked they didnt care just there for a check

This place is terrible! I would not recommend ANYONE spending their hard earned dollar at this place, total rip off. And to think they have the nerve to increase rent for the new year.February 13th, 2020 is the end of my lease and I cannot wait!I should have known the place would be a disaster just by looking at the raggedy parking lot; with a large hole in the entrance way of my complex. Speaking of the parking lot, parking is TERRIBLE! Of course neighbors will have company, but you’d think the guest(s) would be courteous enough to park further back as opposed to taking up all the spaces for the actual tenants that reside there, oh, and don’t think about notifying the leasing office you WILL NOT get a response.Days prior to us moving in, we wanted to view the property to see if it’d be to our “standards” but of course we weren’t able to because the apartment was “under construction” months later, I’m attempting to figure out what construction was going inside the apartment. Cracked walls, patched up ceiling, rotten boards on the balcony; please don’t let me forget the terrible roach problem. When I went to address the problem I was told “just get some insect poison and they’ll go away” whenever we’re told pest control was supposed to come out every Monday, that hasn’t happened. Also, the appliances are TRASH. There is soooo much more I could say, but just to save some time and as I stated in the beginning please save your money and spend it elsewhere.

This place is terrible! Were looking for new a place and had an appointment here today for 1:30pm. We drove an hour to get there only to be told the person wont be there until 2. We couldnt wait around. I email the lady and she didnt even say sorry. The apartment just by looking at it didnt look good. They also were just opening the pool when we got there at 1:30. We will NOT be back and do NOT recommend this place!!

For more than 3 months I have been complaining to the leasing and corporate offices about a rat infestation in the attic of my building. The leasing office has told me to just deal with it until they figure out how they are going to take care of it.

These staff member reviews are hilarious. Who refers to apartments as units and uses the word sleek to describe a units appliances? Its obvious these are bad because anyone who speaks as if they would actually live here sounds human and not like theyre in a brochure. Do better. 😂

I have been living here for the last 3 1/2 years, when I first came to the Reserves I was painted a beautiful picture showing their apartment they have to show & it was beautiful, but once I got my apartment its not even close to that beautiful picture or how the apartments really look inside. The complex has been through 3 management companies and its became worse each time. I make complaints to have my main bathtub hot water faucet stop leaking and the only way it stops completely is with a wrench, which is ridiculous. When maintenance comes to do a work order they dont leave the paperwork of the order of what has been completed. Also issues with mold growing and water from the outside seeps in the walls as well around all the windows. I keep my fan set on auto to produce circulation and its does no good. This complex is not worth the money they ask! I also had emailed the supervisor maintenance person asking some questions for my renters insurance and yet still have not got a reply and its been over 2 weeks for me and my insurance agency emailed him over a month ago nothing. The ladies in the office are HORRIBLE they need work on there customer service skills. Also the pool hours suck in the summer people who work monday-Friday 9am to 6pm dont get to enjoy the pool at ALL its closed on Sundays so all we have is Saturdays! I have more issues but I dont wish to display any more.

I lived her for a year, and it was the worst year of my life BY FAR. First they lured us in with a beautiful model, but when we moved in a lit of stuff was broken. The staff either does not do their job, does it poorly, or will lie to you and say they did it. Everyone that lives there is creepy, and even crossing the complex can be dangerous due to horrible and incessant traffic. We had stuff stolen from us, and to get anything done you have to call the main company in TEXAS.Do NOT live here. You will regeret it.We had a horrible roach problem, and even their renovated units were crap. Parking is a nightmare, getting home during traffic is near impossible, and no one respects pedestrians.Spend your salary elsewhere, you will not regret it

All the staff members here care about is getting their rent payments. The apartments are not properly maintained and staff members always become disrespectful when we want them to fix things properly. Proper repairs really shouldnt be too much to ask for. They will put anyone with money into an apartment without checking them out so there are neighbors who bring a lot of chaos with them because again, they only care about their rent payments. Theyve done some remodeling but the bones of this place are awful and when you ask for assistance they will band-aid the problem to death. Dont be fooled by the pizza and other things they used to seem like a friendly and upscale complex. This place is not that. Know this before you come and spend your hard earned money here.

We have lived here since October 2016. Since we have been here I h ave seen many upgrades.... new brightly colored playground for the kids, fenced in doggie park, basketball courts, and soccer field, just to name a few. The thing I am most looking forward to is the pool opening for the season. They have replaced all the lighting throughout the property so you can see at night. Especially over at the mailboxes. I heard they are remodeling the units as people move out and they are replacing the appliances with sleek looking, modern black ones. The staff in the office are great, super friendly and helpful, if you should have a problem or need something from them. As far a any bug problems go, there are none. As soon as you see one bug, call the office and they set up a time for the exterminator to come spray the house. It doesnt seem to be a big deal getting stuff done around here. They have 24 hour maintenance to take care of most stuff that would arise during their off hours. They allow pets and they have washers and dryers in each building. The other tenants are really friendly, too. I feel very At Home here. I dont think we could have found a better place to live. I love it here!! I think well be staying for awhile!!

From the outside my appartment appeared to look in good shape, but on the inside i had leaks in multiple areas, in the bathroom water would come up from under the toilet and flood the bathroom floor resulting in my bathroom always having mold on the base boards behind the toilet, and I even had problems with rodents. The office staff are dirty and dont really seem like genuinely good people that want to help you the only thing on their mind is money. Right now I am trying to get a situation disputed and the staff are doing little to nothing to help. I would not recommend Greenwood At Ashely River to anyone.

Since the new owner took over the property looks great. They have added a dog park, soccer goals, and have redone the pool. The staff is really nice and they care about the residents. I have nothing but great things to say about this property.

Really rude response office always says nothing they can do about it and always blames things on owner and even after Hurricane and explaining work did not pay til Saturday and banks where all closed til Saturday as well they still charge 150.00 late fee even being first time ever being late only due to hurricane .

THEIR SOLVENT TO MOLD IS BLEACH, WATER AND PINESOL; BUT DONT WORRY ITLL COME BACK AND SO WILL THEY, EVENTUALLY. MANAGEMENT WILL HARASS YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF LATE FEES ON YOUR ACCOUNT. RODENTS ARE TRAPPED IN OUR WALLS. SOMEONE TRIED TO CLIMB ON MY BALCONY DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS 1 AM IN THE MORNING UNTIL HE SEEN ME. KIDS WRITE ON CARS INCLUDING MY OWN AND SEVERAL OTHERS AROUND ME. I HAVE AN ONGOING ISSUE THAT MANAGEMENT STILL HASNT CONTACTED ME ABOUT UNTIL THIS SECOND. MY LEASE IS ALMOST OVER AND ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS ARE OCCURRING AFTER 6 MONTHS OF BEING HERE. THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF MAD MONEY THEY REALLY COULD CARE LESS ALONG WITH THE POLICE THAT HARASS PEOPLE THAT ARE OUTSIDE WHILE THEY ARENT ABLE TO FIND THEIR SUSPECT. I visited my daughter last week to find mold/mildew. She reported it to the office & maintenance came in to clean the area......Being a Property Manager myself, I told her to ask for an air quality test, which the representative explained that she (the resident financial responsibility, thanks Samantha). What management company would not care for their Leaseholders health and safety? I see a lawsuit waiting to happen.That is not counting the continuous maintenance issues inside the apartment: the toilet not bolted to the floor, the HVAC unit rattles while operating, the disposal backs up into the sink, the slide door is not operating, she cannot enjoy her balcony because it is unsafe, etc.Just because the rents are affordable, health and safety matters.

U dont want to live here. Outdated appliances, old carpeting, maintenance guys that DO Not do there jobs, mold problems, unprofessional office staff, not worth the money. On top of that they have rodent issue that ive told them about and they still have done nothing. What they are charging for upgrades come standard in most apartments that except section 8. Do not i repeat do not waste your time or money moving here.There have been multiple shootings in this neighborhood since i have arrived, my car has been stolen, and the office staff suck. I repeat do not waste your time or money here. I understand that the location might look nice on the outside but please believe it is horrible.

I cannot think of anything positive to say about my experience living at Greenwood at Ashley River. Please dont be fooled by the renovations which were done cheaply and looked terrible after a year of use. Our apartment flooded more than a handful of times due to the AC drain backing up, the dirty water from the upstairs neighbors bathtub backing up and draining into our tub, and my neighbor next-door being a psychopath and breaking her toilet, demanding I come fix it and refusing to call the office which resulted in my entire bathroom flooding. We were also left without power in half of our apartment on 2 separate occasions. Despite the maintenance issues, which were never fully fixed to our satisfaction, the more alarming issue I faced at Greenwood was my neighbor who I had to call the police on multiple times for banging out our walls cursing at us, and standing outside my door and making threats to me personally and yelling racially charged comments at my significant other. Despite multiple police reports, the office staff themselves witnessing and recording her in the act on the occasion she flooded my bathroom, and other reports from the neighbors around her, she was never evicted or moved and I was forced to live in fear of what she might do next. Dont bother contacting RADCO directly, they just email the staff which did nothing to solve my problems.

Great Place to live

I pay 1,000 dollars every month for my apartment and I have only been living here for 2 and a half months and I have been having problems every since I first moved in, first it was my shower I couldn’t even take a shower for 2 days straight, second I been having leakage come from under my sink and now I’m having problem with my toilet where water is coming from under it, and now it’s flowing from under the walls into my kitchen, I called the leasing place too see if there could be any possible help with helping me with my rent because I been having to get off early from work because there’s water all over my floor, and they keep saying there’s nothing they can do about that . please guys don’t even waste your time or money coming here

I wish there were negative stars to give. We have literally been living in hell. Only lived here for a year and this is the 2nd plumbing issue we have had. Not only do we have plumbing issues...management sucks. Back in November we had the neighbors pipe burst and it flooded the kitchen, bathroom, dining room and bedroom. Safe to say....We couldnt spend Christmas in our home. Now we are experiencing the same issue. I have went to management 3-4 times. While I was in the office, they urgent my issue. Ha! No one EVER came out. I will be consulting my lawyer to see what we should do in the situation. No one should have to pay almost $800 and live like this. We are constantly sick from the mold in our Windows and our tub is poorly painted. The paint around the tub faucet has molded and it falls in the bath. I am not a happy resident. I would encourage everyone that reads this to save your money. Especially if your military!!

Every apartment complex has issues with management and maintenance of course, but in the 4 months Ive lived here ive never been so dissatisfied.Management (Caitlyn in particular) is extremely disrespectful. I received a credit to my account because she was smirking and interrupting me during a conversation my first week as a resident. The worst customer service I have ever received.As a valued resident that pays $1000 a month to live on Dorchester Road (not the nicest at all) I should be treated with respect rather than an inconvience when discussing serious matters.There has been constant leaks throughout the apartment, mold issues, appliance issues, and unnessacary entering without cause. I am finally hiring a lawyer to handle my termination out of this lease.If you like to be disrespected, have your privacy invaded and pay a ton of money to live in a unsafe neighborhood this is the right place!I would recommend Legends at Charleston Park and Silvana Oaks if your looking to live in a nice community in this general area.

There are maintenance issue are out if this world. Leaking roof and windows and black mold. Rats and mice because trash is piled up all weekend until the maintenance guys clean it up on Monday. We are killing up to 3 rats a day. Cant get a fridge that works. Office manager is rude.

Absolutely horrible! They have a mold problem, i called the office to give them a chance to come and fix it because everyone in my household got sick, said they would come on the 25th of may, havent came yet ! Everything is broken as if they rushed . Its just aweful . The walls are so thin, you can literally hear your neighbors entire conversation! I wouldnt recommend anyone here .

Dont move in here PERIOD.. They know from many complaints that they have a mold problem and still nothing has been done. I pay my rent on time every month feel as though I should be the last to experience poor maintenance. I currently have a Mold infested apartment, plus my sinks leak and they have been to fix the same problem 3 times already. I moved here in July and so far their have been 2 management groups. Drucker and Faulk I could deal with but when I first tried to move, they changed my move in date so theyd have more time to clean. When we finally moved in, I was kind of disgusted how they painted over bugs and hairs on the wall. The bathroom was even more disgusting like hair and mold on everything. Paint drippings EVERYWHERE! And I didnt even know they had a mold problem til my roommate started coughing and sneezing all the time. Baby geckos find a way into my house anytime they want. Roaches/Spiders pop up every now and again since Ive been here. Pest control hasnt even shown up since I requested in AUGUST! The light switches and wall outlets are in weird places. My second room doesnt even have a light switch. And dont even get me started on Village Green. Theyre money hungry and rude to their customers. I would say theres only one decent person I have seen in that office that has ever helped me with anything, and her name is Debbie I think. Maintenance does half assed fixes or never ever come. One time I requested a rain leak issue and they didnt come til a month later while I was asleep in my bed and they used a key to come in uninvited (twice) ! Spelt paint on our bed while we werent home,left the window wide open and used the bathroom. Im just scared to think that anybody could of went in my house and stole something. One of their maintenance men even told me, he was in jail before this job and I really didnt feel comfortable after that! I also could never get to the pool over summer cause it was out of order and the pool is never opened anyways! So the benefits of the pool is BS. The dumpster area is a disaster and makes the back of the apartments look awful! The mail doesnt come til almost 4 o clock in the afternoon. The laundry card dispenser could be out for weeks at a time. The laundry area in some parts are nothing but filth! Then a flooding happened in the apartment complex twice in fall. The first time my car got flooded in; destroyed all my school books and the section of apartments next to us got flooded IN and they were forced to move out. The second time they bought sandbags and a water pump to pump water out of the parking lot. Now every time i think a bad storm is coming I have to park ALLLLLL the way to the other side of the complex so my car wont get flooded. Both of these times they didnt tell us or send out a message to what they were going to do to help us! Getting out of and coming into apartment complex is difficult due to traffic on Dorchester Rd all the time. Ever since I have lived here, I wish I would of kept looking for a better place :/ Now Im stuck here for another 6 months and positive that Ill have more problems along the way and WILL write another review to warn people!!! Goodluck and dont let them Ads fool you....

The fees are ridiculous and to find out you won’t be getting a security deposit back after told several times you would is so frustrating and misinformed information and communication, they want to tell you that it’s an “ADMIN FEE” after moving out but when you moved in it was a security deposit and CORPORATE is just as worse they are not helpful and doesn’t give you a resolution, so I don’t understand the point of calling back when you just hear negative feedback . I will NEVER move here again even if my life depends on it
