I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing organization and their clients. I have watched Among Friends grow from the start and with its growth the adults that attend begin to thrive in this environment. They feel loved, safe, and a special part of a special group. In my eyes they have created a sanctuary that had been missing in this community for a long time. I’m constantly in awe of Melissa Pearson and Cathe Fox for what they have done, and continue to do on a daily basis at Among Friends. They do an incredible job and their love for these adults shines so bright. They are truly angels! Norman is so lucky to have this organization in its community. Among Friends has one of the most caring, patient, hardest working, and compassionate staff and volunteers of any organization I have witnessed. Their love and passion for the disabled is beyond heartwarming. I am extremely protective of my Uncle Brad, who is special needs, and I would trust this staff with him to make his life even more enjoyable without a doubt. Thank you Cathe, Mellissa, and the rest of THE BEST at Among Friends for making all of our lives a little brighter with the work you do. Nice variety of activities for adults with special needs. Wish there were extended hours.

My handicap daughter has gone here for years. It is a wonderful and safe place. They do arts and crafts, play games, excersize and feel very welcome at all times. Its a magical place for the disabled where they are loved and cared for by an amazing staff. My daughter goes daily and loves it.

My son loves going here! All the people who work here are dedicated to making this a great experience for their clients. I would recommend it to anyone who needs adult day care for a child with developmental disabilities.

The best thing thats happened for our family. ♡

A woman named Melissa Pearson is a manager at this site. She took my handicapped little brother away to help her move from Oklahoma City to Blanchard and did NOT even ask our mother if it was okay to do so. He has now been missing for 3 days and we have no way of contacting him or her. My entire family is frantic to find him and we are going through all legal trails to bring him home. Melissa Pearson cannot be trusted to not take advantage of your family members!
