My nail artist was a man and he did a terrible job, he used so much acrylic that it was under my nails and on the sides of my skin i had to pick it off my skin with a knife (didn’t take photos but trust me it was a LOT). his technique was just not good, there’s no apex and he sliced up my cuticles, my nails were not even i had to reshape them when i got home, the gel polish started chipping after less than a week and it was lumpy?? When he was drilling my nails he didn’t have any control over it and almost sliced my finger TWICE, it literally slipped out of his hand and luckily only landed on the acrylic nail but still a scary experience. All i got done was a full set with gel polish and it came out to $55… i know times are hard and prices are raised but this was just not it especially for how simple my nails were, also the acrylic powder BURNED my real nails it was so uncomfortable

This has to be the WORST experience I have ever had in all if my 20+year of getting my nails done. A simple pink and white turned horrid.1. The wrong size tips were applied2. Incorrect shaping3. Uneven acrylic applied without sanding to correct4. The nail tech incited 2 lacerations on 2 of my finger(without consideration or empathy,and yes they were bleeding) due to the excessive amount of acrylic applied and his inability to properly file while attempting to shape ( they should have been coffin)5. No building up of the apex6. Irregularities in the gel top coat with discoloration7. Overcharged based on advertised price by $108. When trying to communicate my unsatisfactory outcome, the tech resorted to an inability to comprehend English and began speaking in his native language with the other constituentsEdited update: I did call and was told by the lady who answered that she didnt know what I was talking about and the manager was too busy. I mentioned that I was calling in response to my review left online and that I was asked to call to further discuss. Dont attempt to save face over the internet but fail to provide satisfaction to your clients. I gave the benefit of the doubt that this company may have truly wanted to rectify the horrible experience, but so far that has not been the result.

I came here to get a full acrylic set with gel done on my birthday when I was already having a rough day. I saw that they didn’t look great when I left but didn’t realize just how bad they were until I got into my car - way too much acrylic powder piled up. I have healthy long nails underneath and there was no reason for that much product. Instead of going back in and making my day worse, I went to A Nails down the street who saved the day. These pictures are from when I got home and was able to really see how terribly they were done. The first time I went here, my nails were done so well - every time since it’s been worse and worse but Ive never had my nails done this badly before

I had an older gentleman doing my dip nail manicure. I kept telling him he was hurting my fingers and he responded with “your just sensitive”. As you can see, I was cut multiple times. Would not recommend. Terrible customer service.

I just left from the salon and the man that did my nails did them horribly. I kept having to ask for them to be shorter, he didnt go as short as I wanted and I asked if he could flatten them to make them more natural looking, he didnt. Then the gel polish job is horrible, it looks like theyre already growing out. I was going to get my eyebrows done and decided against it because of this. Then, he charged me an extra $10 because he said theyre long. $45 for this horrible job. Ill never go back.

I wanted to try somewhere new and i went here thinking that the place was going to be good. this place is so expensive for no reason. Charged me $40 for a basic pedicure, and didn’t paint my toes all the way either. when i went back to try and get them redone, i was going to get charged extra to get them painted again. while getting my pedicure they did not properly scrubbed my feet to get all the dead skin off. I do NOT recommend this place at all. i promise going a little farther will be so much better for your wallet.

I used to go here a couple years ago but moved a little further away so I started at another salon. The other salon was good. But circumstances had me back at LJ Nails today and now I think Im driving the extra 5 minutes to return to them. They really are fabulous at nails!

I have been to this nail salon multiple times and made appointments with a particular person. I called to make an appointment this morning. I wanted 45 mins past my appointment time all to be told that they don’t make appointments and the person I waited 45 mins wasn’t available. I would not recommend this business. Disrespectful of peoples valuable time. Flat out liars. Minimal color selection and only one good nail tech.

I’ve been here a couple of times and liked them. I tried to come in at 7 they didn’t even ask what I wanted they just told me to come tomorrow because they were closed even though it says on their door and google they close at 8.

I went in with Lisa Liebold for our first nail salon experience since moving to Virginia and it was such a disappointment. I was giving birth 3 days from getting my nails done so I wanted a nice relaxing day before life changed for me again. I asked for no file on my nails (childhood trauma of being burned when a nail tech filed my nails) and she completely disregarded my request and filed anyway. I think I said it about 3 times and shook my hand no to practically beg her not to file. She then proceeded to cut my nails shorter. I’m surprised I did not get an ingrown toenail with how short it was. But the real kicker with all of this is eye brow waxing. I asked for a clean up around my brows and she took off almost all of my eyebrows. I went from an year and a half of eyebrow growth to tiny lines on my face! I didn’t ask for her to make them like that, she just did it by her own choice all while waxing in the open floor. Every salon I’ve gone to, they wax in a separate room not where people are getting their nails done or people walking in the store. On top of that she would leave to go take care of other customers mid wax! NEVER GO HERE! It’s all dirty too!

WORST MANI/PEDI I’ve ever had!!!! She didn’t let me wash my hands, no lotion, no massage. She was done in 15 minutes and my nails and cuticles was not neat! Pedicure that my mom got was even worse!!! They didn’t used to be this bad. Will never go back again we spent $80 for nothing!!!!

I love my nail tech my feet has a trick pinky toe and when I say she worked magic on it best pedicure Ive ever had ask for tami and I also got my lashes and eyebrows done very quick and professional I love this place they have gotten themselves a forever customer!

My nails looked great when they were done but they didn’t even last a week... 4 of my nails came completely off while I was on vacation... I can go a month without getting a fill in at other shops but with getting them done at this shop it wasn’t worth my money I spent $190 for my nails and feet and I willNever go back definitely not worth the money smh

Very poor customer service. I went in for a walk-in and I was not approached or greeted in any type of way. I waited for about 10 mins for some to walk past me so I could finally speak to someone. With the poor customer service that was given I decided to just walk out. Good work of nails tho but poor customer service.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I asked them to just take off the acrylic nails and do a manicure. I told them several times to NOT cut my real nails and they did it anyways. The manager asked me what happened and while I was telling her, she started screaming at me in front of everyone and told me not to come back because I was dissatisfied with the service. They are so unprofessional and the way they treat customers is disgusting. I highly recommending going to another nail salon. I will never go there again!

This is my regular spot i have came here for YEARS... however when the management changed over it has gotten so unprofessional all the women in there do is talk talk talk... And they are not talking to clients they are only speaking to each other. I wanted RELAXATION not the constant chattering in a language i dont understand i understand we come for a service but try to b a little hospitable to top it off im pregnant and dont care to be super close to people who are unmasked even if they claim to be vaccinated... I had to move a womans dirty sandals out of my chair just to sit down Smh ok thats enough... Searching for a new nail salon as of NOW!!!

The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars from me was the wait time. Originally I was told to wait 30 minutes which is fine, but I ended up waiting for an hour....buuuuttt the lady did a fantastic job on my nails and I would recommend coming here, maybe just book an appt first!

This was my first time in this nail shop. I waited about an hour and 15 minutes to be serviced but I waited patiently because I heard decent things about this nail shop. When I got in the chair and the lady was asking me the length of my nails she tried to charge me $80! Mind you I was getting a simple very basic full set with gel polish. No ombré, no designs, no rhinestone etc or anything extra. Just regular gel polish! I told her to cut them down a little because I was not about to pay $80 for a basic full set just because they’re “too long” she then cut my nails all the way down and I payed $45. The nails came out ok some are uneven and filed shorter than others but not too noticeable. Their prices are very misleading. If you want to overpay for nails definitely come here.

Everything was going great, I was relaxing getting my Pedicure until the staff started really talking loud on their phones. Ms Tammy was awesome in her communications w/ me about my feet. This was suppose to be my relaxing time but, I guess not. I really was digging this place as my go to place until now. Really! People

I request Shula (I know Im pronouncing it wrong)I got a full set two weeks ago and went in for a fill in yesterday. Its not a thin fill in either, my nails last longer than anywhere else Ive been. I appreciate how she takes her time and my nails are done beautifully! I always tip her as well.

1st time visit today while in the area. Mani/pedi. I opted for the honey spa pedicure and Ken really took his time pampering my tootsies. I would say the process easily took about 30 mins with no stone left unturned. The massage chair was the cherry on top. They have a new customer. I have a “thing” for a great pedi. Great job guys. They know how to make you feel welcome. See you next time!

I went in on the weekend to get a full set and pedicure, my pedicure was great. My nails were ok but I had to come back 2 days after cause the gel pealed off and it had only been 48 hours. Of course you have to wear your mask but they don’t the 6 feet apart they only have a plastic glass between you and your nail tech. I had to ask for no one to sit by me because they were sitting people on top of each other... like I was literally elbow to elbow with one of the ladies beside me. I’m High disappointed.

David was excepital, gentle an kind did a great job on hands an feet. I had a fill in gel nails an a pedicure. I will go back in 2 weeks. Clean people very nice.

Compared to other nearby nail salons, this place is the best. Facility is spacious and clean. My nails always look superb and last long.

I went here with my girlfriend to get pedicures, before we started we were told a price and once we started talking with our techs and told them we were girlfriends, they stopped talking to us and charged us an additional 50$ on top of the price we were first told, we didn’t catch it until we got to the car and when we tried going back in to ask about the charge the 2 individuals stood in the back room and peaked out until we left

They were very unprofessional, we were told it will only take 30mins to be put in a chair but it took literally almost a hour and then thru decided not to change the foot back from the previous person . I wish I didn’t have to write this, but I want everyone to know what they are going in to. The employees were very nice and polite, however the pedicure was very subpar. My toenail care was extremely unsatisfactory however the massage was extraordinary, which allowed me to rate 2 stars. After the “spa” part of the pedicure was complete, the tech did not clean my nails before applying polish which, as expected, resulted in the polish chipping off within 24 hours. Additionally, after the color polish had been applied, I had to request more be applied as it did not cover my nail. Very poor polish job.

I visited on Thursday evening they were able to take me right in but the chair was broken and that’s the third time all different chairs that’s happened in here. the gentleman that did my toes did a great job even tipped him $10. So two days later in the pool when the polish starts coming off I was a little irritated took me a while to get back in to ask him to repaint them for me after explaining my situation she still wanted to charge me to repaint I think I should stand behind their work. It’s a shame to lose Future business over $10

I used to come all the time, for years, for pedis and gel acrylic nails. I stopped going because my nails constantly kept breaking off…..for months. The shop people would say I’m too rough? The new shop I go to informed me HERE was doing my acrylic wayyyyyy too thin and wasn’t applying it correctly by the cuticle, hence the lifting. And their gel spa pedicures are like $80 or $85… insane. Looks pretty in the establishment though.

They are so nice and professional these people did such a great job on my nails and feet I will be returning this weekend for my fill in and my pedicure I will remain having service done with them

I went here to get a pedicure & a full set because I am in between nail techs. The pedicure by the young woman was wonderful & she was very sweet, but the old man that started on my full set was terrible. He had a shaky hand and shaped the nail so poorly that half of the acrylic didn’t cover my entire nail. After some fixing, he still wasn’t doing my nails properly and I was going to leave, but a man named ‘Yen’ saves the day. My nails are perfect. He paid so much attention to detail & I will definitely be back to see him.

Nice pedicures but bad acrylics. Ive had one set done there that was okay (a year ago) and came in for a fill, trim, and new polish recently that was bad. They were uneven and needed to be filed better underneath. Had a set removed there once and the conversation was great but the guy filed my nails unevenly and whatever clear coat they used came off in like two days. Nails were drastically different lengths comparing left hand to right hand.

I have to admit, I am a very picky customer when it comes to my nails. I have been searching for the right nail salon for a while and I think I might have found the one! As soon as I entered the nail shop, I was immediately greeted and was seated in a chair. Through out the service, Lily made sure that everything was alright and chatted with me, which made me feel welcomed. I also got my eyebrows done too which let me tell you is the best eyebrow service I ever had. She arched my eyebrows so good and made them exactly they way I wanted it. Overall my experience here was amazing! I definitely will be coming back.

I went to this place called Lj Nails Spa off Little Creek today that I been going to for a few years after already having a really rough week due to a family member passing away as a method of preparation and relaxation. I signed in only to have someone that didnt sign in and without an appointment to before me...only to have my nails done to wear it looks like a 5 year old did them, and when I complained, the owner said what did i do to cause bubbles under the polish...Im confused because i chose polish off their wall, then he attempted to paint over it which made it look worse, and put polish all over my skin. At this point Im frustrated and request he remove the polish off my skin. He then says hold on...goes and starts someones feet...then come over without washing his hands to touch me. I stop him before he touches me and he gets upset. Does he not understand how unsanitary that is...I just walked out....woosaaaaa....I just have to share....DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!

Got my nails done here about 3 weeks ago. I got a full set acrylic done. At first I was just going to do a regular nail polish done but he managed to talk me into getting gel polish and I do regret it, he did an amazing job shaping and painting my nails. They lasted up until today! Every other place I’ve been to has only lasted me a week and a half.When all this virus stuff is done I’ll deff be going back to have my nails done here again! Already dying for another set!!!

I get gel so it’s not as if I take the cheap route, but my nails never last more than a week .. like never .. the man did them last time and the time before .. same results .. but definitely go for eyebrows.
