These guys are the best. From the moment they took on my project, they have been VERY responsive, they always ask me to swing by and approve or give input when they need it, and their pricing is honest and reasonable. Have already recommended them to a few people from work and will continue to do so. Great experience so far. Cannot wait to see the end product in a few weeks!
Tommy’s guys rebuilt the carb on my 71 Corvette. Very fair price for the work and was done quickly. After some tuning my car is running great.
Very happy with the customer service...I to took my 66 Pontiac in there and they were very informative. Got it running better for a very reasonable price. He also pointed out some safety issues that need to be looked at. Very appreciative. Also very fast ser
The only place the wife and I will take our 69 camaro. We have had extensive exhaust work, suspension work, brake upgrades, motor work, air conditioning, manual trans swap from an automatic, tilt steering etc etc etc. Ask for Tommy or Daryl, they actually care about your car, not just how much money you have!!!
This place is awesome. service was great. food is amazing. for sure under an under the radar restaurant
Great people who care about their customers as well as their customers cars. They do some awesome stuff on the cars they restore
I dropped my rim off to these guys based on a referral from a coworker. I was already told they were the best to where it surprised me they exceeded my expectations. I dropped my rim off with an inch or two crack on the edge.. it also had a bit of curb rash. They not only repair my crack very well, they smoothed out my curb rash that looked pretty bad. I didn’t even have to ask, which was nice.I bought these rims the day before, and see the crack the next day to where I already lost money from buying them and repairing them. Long story short, they made me a happy customer. Even though I got ripped off buying the rims, I got to have this experience with Bay City Classics. Without a doubt, I will be coming back to get work done.
This company has ruined the electrical system on my 1966 Thunderbird. I had my vehicle towed to their shop 12/26/18 after having the motor rebuilt by Kurt and Tim @ Magnum Machine Shop. My motor had not even been cranked up at this time, there was no oil, and none of the externals were connected. My intentions were to have this company do this work. When I handed the keys over to the shop manager Tommy Nixon I gave him a checklist/to do list and what I wanted done in priority. Priorities were 1).Rewire the entire vehicle (new fuse block, relays, bulbs etc. 2).Install A/C and heat. 3). Complete all of the mechanical components that were not installed, do the initial start up and tune. I’d already received quotes from Robert “Bobby” Darden the co-owner for having these things done a few months prior to this when they replaced my windshield so I already had budget in mind. When I went to the shop to check on the vehicle in 4/19 this is when I realized that the car had not been rewired and I had paid thousands of dollars at this point. I started to go back and look at my invoices line for line and this is when I found out I was taken vantage of. One week after they had my car I was billed for an oil change (invoice # 2434) mind you the motor was just rebuilt and had not even had all of the mechanical components installed. 3 months later (Invoice# 2544) I was billed for two cases of Mahshop/break-in oil and there was 12 in each case. I am not a mechanic but I do not know any vehicle that takes 24 bottles of oil. These are only 2 of discrepancy that I found. At this point I requested a meeting with Darrell(the owner ),Bobby(the co-owner), Tommy Nixon(the shop manager), and Craig(the mechanic who had been working on my vehicle up to this point). During this meeting Darrell was not present. I was told I would be credited back 27 hours on my next invoice. I was not credited back in the amount of hours that Bobby agreed to AND I WAS BILLED AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 hours ($120) FOR THE MEETING THAT I REQUESTED(invoice#2952). I was called to pick the vehicle up 6/19 and I was handed an invoice that totaled $3518.52 for more electrical work(Invoice# 3078). I had already paid well over $10,000 overall and I was already almost $2000 over the original quote for electrical work that Bobby had quoted me. I stated to Bobby at this time the I will not pay that invoice because all of the electrical components were not working at that time, the AC was not working properly, and there was an exhaust leak. This became a shouting match and I was told that they lost over $11,000 of labor hours. When I asked how I was told that there was not a wiring harness that was available for my vehicle and they had to make one work for it that they purchased from American auto wire classics (invoice#2848).This is when I felt that my intelligence was being insulted by Bobby. I said let’s do the math. $5,600 in “paid “ electrical work invoices, $3500 for the invoice that I refused to pay, and $11,000 of lost labor hours on my vehicle adds up to over $20,000 just in electrical work on my vehicle. At this point I was told by Bobby that I did not have to pay the final invoice, he would not do any further work on my vehicle, and if I was not satisfied with that then I could speak with his lawyer who I find out later to be the owner of the company Darrell. A few emails and phone calls later I speak with Darrell and he tells me that they stand by their work and I could bring the vehicle back in to be repaired under warranty. I get my car back up to Bay City classic February 2020. I picked the vehicle back up 4/22/20. Repairs were made and the dash worked as it should.4/25/20 three days after picking the vehicle up the fuel gauge stops working and lights in the dash cluster stopped working. I was then told by Darrell that after I had the power steering and transmission repaired (because they need to road test) I could bring it back to them to fix it. A road test for electrical?
Great work done by great folks!

DISHONEST AS THE DAY IS LONG: Dont trust these guys. They may steal as much from you as they did me. This shop has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I just want to be left alone and these guys continue to screw with me even years after dealing with them. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. Dont Trust Bobby Darden the owner. Smooth talker, but not honest.
These guys replaced the roof on my K5 blazer. They did an awesome job.
I got a RPM gauge installed here on my 68 board they did a terrific job and any electrical problems I recommend them on any vintage vehicle
Looking forward to working with them to make my wishes come true
Not recommend at all.
