He explained everything I needed to know going forward before he left. I would definitely call Friends Tek again if I need other repairs. Absolutely worthless company. My Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling/freezing not even a year after I purchased it brand new. I called Samsung and they scheduled an appointment with Friends Tek, who told me it will take 3 weeks for a technician to come out between 11-3. The day finally came and nobody showed up during that time window. When I called, they didnt answer their phone, and after 15 minutes on hold they hung up on me. Finally they texted me saying their technician went home sick (which based off other reviews seems to happen a lot) and the next earliest appointment is another 3 weeks away. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Do not recommend this company to anyone. Whether under warranty or not, do not give your business or hard earned money to these scamming frauds. Wasted my time for over a month now and still do not have a working refrigerator. Would give zero stars if I could! STAY AWAY!!!!

Chris Garrett was the technician that came out to help with our freezer issue. He was AMAZING! We were his last stop for the day. Even though he had a long day and didn’t get to us until 6:30 in the evening he was kind and patient. He took his time to fix the issue he was here for (ice maker not working) and then took time to answer some other questions for me. I am so thankful for his excellent service and attention to detail!

Christopher Garrett repaired our broken dryer with amazing speed and skill. Within 5 minutes he’d completely disassembled the machine and removed the problematic parts. If it were possible to give negative stars I would. If Samsung assigns them for a service issue, ask for someone else! They took my money immediately, scheduled a call a week and a half later for a not working refrigerator (yeah, I know...food is perishable!) and then the tech circled the block two or three times unable to figure out the well defined entrance and then went back to the shop. Ive thrown away hundreds of dollars in food, Ive wasted half a day of work and still no fridge! The only nice thing I can say is they refunded the service fee so I dont have to dispute it with my bank!

I was referred to them by Samsung and had a repair date for my oven code c 31 august 18th. Tre came out and had a trainee with him. Tre ended up breaking my cooktop. My issue was not with Tre, but the company that never responded. I was told to call the next day and they would send me a check. Now at this time my oven is not working and now my stovetop is broken. On Friday I was told to send photos to the manager Sayed. I sent photos and have not heard back. It is now 9/3 going into a long weekend. No one will pick up the phone or call back. I called everyday for 2 weeks and 1 day. Not one call. Not one email response. I have sent several emails to the manager Sayed. This is the worst service I have ever had. I paid for this to happen. I will never use them again. I will never buy Samsung if this is their third party.Currently I am on the phone with Samsung because I was supposed to get a call by end of business day. That did not happen. The rep just dropped the call with tech support with a really nice women who had no idea what was going on. She was a help and empathetic and tried to help me. I am waiting at this point for someone to at least acknowledge what was done. At this point I think they are ignoring me on purpose to not take responsibility.I have been on hold with samsung after they hung up twice for 21 mins. NEVER use Samsung in the Metro Atlanta area and Never use Friendstek OMB. NEVER NEVER NEVER. RUN.

Overall this company has horrible customer service although one of their techs, Steve, was great. The first time I reached out I was given time and date they would be coming out. No one showed. Apparently it was a “ tentative” time and date??? Whatever that is. A few days later a tech came out and replaced the igniter. The problem persisted and I called again. I was given another time and date someone would come out. Again, no one called or showed up. After I called again, I was given another time and date. This time, the tech named Steve came out and was very professional and thorough. I would give him five stars if I were rating him alone.

I had an appointment on July 14, 2021 and the technician Tre came out with only one of the two hoses that is needed to fix the issue for washer. He was unable to fix it because he did not have the necessary hose that the washer needed. He scheduled me a new appointment on July 27, 2021 guaranteeing hell have the additional hose to fix the issue. I received a text message from Friends Tek and from the technician Tre that the part (hose) was not in and there is no ETA as to when itll get fixed. Well, I called Freinds Tek and spoke with a Lunda and she was NO help and didnt try to assist, but basically told me well call you when we get the hose and transferred me to a voicemail. Just frustrating and disappointing all together.

We scheduled on 4 separate occasions to have a dishwasher repaired. Unfortunately, no repair took place. The first time the tech broke the new part. We reschesuled and the second time he brought back the same broken part. The third time he returned with a used part. The fourth time the tech never showed up. Im glad other people had good experiences with this company but ours was horrible. I would not recommend them.

Samsung TV had issue in warranty, the team reschedules appointments multiple times and finally took the TV for repair after 2 weeks . Now they said you have to wait for some parts and it’s been 1 month they are not returning the TV which I need to get my refund. Really poor service, no one pick a up the call ever.Please send my TV back, it’s been 1 month now and I am waiting for my refund. That is my TV you are holding on to. Samsung has clearly told me you are suppose to send it back to me.Even the SAMSUNG CAN NOT REACH THEM.Not sure where else I can complain.

This company is awful. They have not even made it out to our location yet. I have tried contacting them several times to book an appointment, they never respond to their own text or answer calls. Finally I call Samsung back up, which they book the appointment for me at this point. Now after the appointment is booked Friendstek texts me back to confirm only not to show or call for the appointment I had with them. Very unprofessional, if it wasn’t for this being an issue that Samsung has to take care of I personally would not hire or recommend to anyone.

I had an appointment from 3 to 7pm, the technician called five minutes away a hour earlier. Even though, I reminded him our appointment was from 3 to 7pm and I wasn’t at home yet. Could he return at his scheduled time, his response was NO. I called and reschedule again for the next day from 3 to 7pm again, the technician called at 7:35pm said he couldn’t make AGAIN, no called during my scheduled appointment. So, he promised to come the next day from 12 to 1pm. Still no call or technician to repair my Samsung Ice Maker. I have never seen such unprofessionalism, lack of concern or quality of service from a company in my lifetime. We have been waiting two weeks to get this ice maker working because that is how long it took to get an appointment. After 3 scheduled appointments, still no service and the business is closed on Saturday to complain. But I am writing a formal complaint to Samsung.

Damien the repairman did an amazing job fixing my ice maker and explained well how to maintain it. He was on time and answerered all my questions. Love the refrigeratorNow it is 2 years later and the icemaker has totally frozen shut. Repair didnt last. I had to blow dry it every 2 weeks and now I cant get it openIn the last 2 months refrigerator has only been running at 55 degrees because of the food we are putting in it. Samsung will not stand behind their refrigerator warranty for the compressor. I have spent over$1,000 dollars on repairs and diagnostics and nothing has changed. This is the worst example of a bad product and bad customer service I have seen in my 60 year lifeFortunately there is a class action lawsuit on the ice maker. Am I to get food poisoning while I wait on the class action suit for the compressor?Now the refrigerator has been recalled. Do you think Friendstek will give money back on the bogus repairs? They wont even return my calls.

The repairmen were really good but the prices they charge are very much above the market cost of goodsordered. They have too many unexpected fees and overhead costs. A gasket is 155.00 for a freezer which is only 55.00 online, plus diagnosis and labor, tax too. Some charges were expected but the parts cost are way higher than manufacturers cost and this was unexpected.

Technician was late - no courtesy call. Samsung oven was not working. There was big dead roach (outside kind) under the oven when we pulled it out (embarrassing, but it happens). Technician opened back of oven, made some phone calls, closed it up, pushed it back in. Asked me to sign paper work that we had an infestation problem. We were shocked. He said roaches chew through wires and made the main board go bad. Anyone familiar with circuit board technology would question this. I told him he needed to show me. He showed me a picture. I said he needed to show me (why did he not show me when the oven was originally open?) He became agitated. He pulled out and reopened the oven - no bug. He said it was moving. The roach in the picture was clearly dead. The only dead roach around was the one that was originally under the oven. Where did the second dead roach go? How convenient this roach died resting on a wiring harness. Interesting dust bunny on the roach, but no other dirt on the board. Interesting there was dust bunnies with the original dead roach under the oven. He told me I needed to have pest control and they could come replace the main board. He asked me to sign paperwork stating that there was an infestation. I added a comment on the paperwork. He got more agitated saying I could not write on his paperwork. He abruptly left after calling someone to say he was running late. I fought with Samsung over this...they backed the technician. I finally go to the right person at Lowes and they dispatched a different company A&E. The man showed up, replaced the igniter, never opened the back of the oven, and never suspected the main board. He fixed the oven and was out the door in under 30 Minutes. I understand that this technician may not represent all at Friendstek, but when I appealed to them regarding my side of the story, they were rude and told me that nothing could be done until I called pest control. We have never had a pest issue. Our termite guy came for annual inspection. I showed him the picture, and he stated that particular roach was outdoor dwelling. And infestations would be in the form of smaller German cockroaches. I was out of use of an 18 mo old oven based on a random accusation and poor diagnosis of a single junior technician. Bottom line. I would never recommend this company, and I will never by Samsung again.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. The ice maker on my 8 month old Samsung refrigerator stopped working and the freezer was not cooling properly. He said he couldnt find anything wrong with my ice maker but he told me I needed to shorten the hose on the back and he changed a part that he said there was nothing wrong with but you never know. He blamed the cooling issue on me for having the freezer over filled and therefor the door could not sealed properly. Turns out the compressor was bad which it took getting another company entirely to figure out. Their first visit to my house was March 2nd and after being told several times that it still did not work and that I had to throw hundreds of dollars worth of food away he finally returned on March 31st only to tell me once again that he didnt know what was wrong with it. I was told after the first visit that he was ordering parts and would come back when he could. I dont know what kind of parts he supposedly ordered since he had no idea what was wrong with my refrigerator but when he finally came back he came with leftover parts from other jobs. When he still didnt find anything wrong (he didnt check anything) he said after several more service attempts Samsung would have to determine if they should just cut me a check. I was then told that I was on the schedule for someone to come on April 6. I never heard from anyone and no one ever showed up and I never heard from anyone again. I had to call Samsung again and request another service company.

Samsung assigned Friends Tek to fix our broken ice maker, which was within warranty. I found the process from start to finish to be easy and professional. I had to reschedule my initial appointment and the office staff were understanding and helpful. Our technician, Tre, arrived 30 minutes into our 4 hour window. He notified us 30 minutes before arrival that he was on his way. He was kind and courteous, came with the correct parts and had our ice maker fixed within 30 minutes. If you can avoid this company, DO YOUR BEST TO! Technician was 2 hours late (service window was 10am-2pm), sat in his car for 5 minutes on a personal call (connected to his car Bluetooth). We signed forms stating no damage to unit, he works on unit for 2 hours and then decides there’s damage so he can’t fix it. Contacted company regarding a second opinion and no one will and we phones nor return calls. Company needs to be shut down and sued!

The technician came to fix the oven and display which after taking apart told my wife we needed a new oven plug which my wife went and purchased. The technician then put new plug in the top of range was working and display and oven still not working. He then arc the power and blew the main plug out and went oh i should not have done that, My wife asked are you an electrician his answer was NO. He then asked if we trusted our electrician he is the only one who has done his work fully and professionally. Trying to avoid responsibility for his mistake. The extended warranty on my refrigerator uses this company for repairs. Absolutely the worst experience. Ive had my ice maker out for over a month now. The first scheduled service visit they did not show up, rescheduled for a second visit but they cancelled because they didnt have the part needed, however they havent even checked it out yet so how do they know whats needed. Also they keep calling the wrong phone number even though I have given them the correct phone number several different times now. So unprofessional and treat you like they dont want to deal with your problem. Very frustrating. Avoid this company if you can.

Samsung required we use them for a warranty repair on a 6-month old washer. The soonest they could get us scheduled was nearly three weeks out. That day finally came and I took a half day off work but no one showed up or called to let me know they weren’t showing up. Despite never looking at the machine and the previously mentioned three week lead time they claimed to be waiting for a part and asked to reschedule in another week and a half. I had to find all of this out from Samsung - Friendstek is about as good at answering their phone as they are at showing up for appointments. Found a local company and paid out of pocket to get it fixed the same day.

Samsung contracts to FriendTek, and our dryer is 6 months old and under warranty, which is how we ended up with them. We live in a small condo, and our dryer is a stacked unit (which we confirmed with Samsung over the phone when they created the ticket). Austin G., their repair person, came in looked at our stacked dryer (in a laundry closet), and said he couldnt get it out. He said he needed an air slide to lift it, but he would damage our walls. This dryer is 6 months old. We had an old GE dryer take out, and this one was installed 6 months ago with no damage done to the walls. This is the 2nd dryer weve had installed in this closet without incident because we had one installed when we moved in. So it seems like a failing on FriendsTek if two other companies were quickly able to get it in and out.Then Austin told us that if it was attached to the washer (it has to be safely stacked - true of all stacked units), he also cant do it. He told us to contact Best Buy (who we bought the dryer through) and told us to get them to send out their installers to take it down and pull it out for us. He said that we (the customers) are responsible for uninstalling all appliances, including dishwashers. My husband said he would help him move it. Frankly, Austin seemed like he didnt want to do the work.He said he couldnt do anything and told us we should pay someone to come to move it and then call them back, and theyll try to get us on the schedule. He then told us to sign the work order. We hesitated, frankly, because we were in shock, and he said, well then dont, and tossed it on our kitchen table and left.This was a profoundly unprofessional and upsetting experience.

After having a lot of trouble even reaching this company, I scheduled a service call. The service window was changed at the last minute, and then the tech never showed up. Just texted saying he had a flat tire. I told him I would reschedule. The same tech called in sick that day. After cancelling entirely, I asked for my prepaid $100 service fee to be refunded. Although I was assured that it would be, its now been almost 4 weeks with no refund, and Ive been on hold for over 15 minutes. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company.

I had an ice maker issue with my fridge and had a local company attempt to fix it. After 3 failed visits, I opted to go with FriendsTek since they are a Samsung authorized repair service. Sean and Gonzalo of FriendsTek in Jacksonville were able to service my ice machine and fixed a blockage in the water line caused by the other companys technician. Their communication was always responsive and conducted themselves professionally. I would recommend their services to anyone experiencing issues with their Samsung appliances.

Terrible company. Be aware that if you are not under warranty, the parts they use to fix your unit will more likely than not be an old part they removed from another persons unit. They call this practice truckstock parts when in fact it is fraud and highly illegal. If you are under warranty they will treat your time with very little respect while expecting you to move heaven and earth to accomodate their schedule. If samsung gives you this company to repair an under warranty unit request a different company; Samsung contracts with many other companies that do a much better and professional job.

I was assigned this repair shop via Best Buy Geek Squad. Best Buy Geek Squad scheduled my service all for a Friday. Friends Tek tried to contact me while I was presenting during a virtual conference. As soon as I was done I called back on their provided number immediately. It went to voice mail which was how it went every time I tried to contact them. Since I was taking part in the conference on the two days leading up to the scheduled Friday service appointment, I even left them my wifes number and emailed as well as texted them. Friday came and went without any contact from them even after repeated calls from me and Best Buy trying to reach them. Finally talked with someone today after Best Buy called them. The person I talked with while trying her best to sound friendly was anything but helpful. She said Best Buy did not have access to her scheduling database and I was out of luck till Nov 30. There was nothing she could or would do. While she did her best to sound friendly she was trying to just get me to go away and ultimately hung up on me. I could understand this if I was yelling or cussing at her. I remained calm while talking with her and explaining my situation and the run around between Best Buy and Friend Tek was not my problem. That was an issue they needed to workout. In the mean time they should work together to find a solution to my problem. It is apparent they do not care about potential new customers. They are certainly part of the problem and dont care about finding a solution.

I’m working with Lowe’s warranty on a Samsung range. They missed the first appointment- no call nothing. No phone access- then when I do have them on the phone they claim they can’t understand our accent so that is the reason the appointment was canceled.. they finally show up and have a weak excuse as to why they can’t continue and I should contact Samsung directly. Yet, my extended warranty is thou Lowe’s and they are the only service provider.

Technician came to repair/ defrost my ice maker that was no longer dispensing ice because it was completely frozen. Technician damaged the inside of the fridge, left the ice tray broken. I immediately notified Friendstek of damage and was told they would get back to me. 2 weeks and many phone calls and emails later they send an email declining responsibility even though I have a service report stating that there is damage to fridge signed by tech and myself. Technicians name is Trey Haley. Do not let him touch your appliances.BEWARE before you let them touch your appliance. I suggest you record the entire service call or better yet ask SAMSUNG for a different service provider!

Scheduled service to repair my Samsung washer that was not draining and replace lid latch. First available service was 2 weeks out. On the day of service, the repairman did not bring the required parts to make the repair. Next available appointment was another 2 weeks out. Appointment was supposed to be between 12-4. No call, no show. Called their office for an explanation and Im place on hold for over 20 min until I just hung up. I called right back, someone else answered the phone and told me that a part didnt come in. Now I have to wait for who knows how long for a part to come in then count on another 2 weeks for rescheduling the appointment. Ive now gone over a month without a washing machine in my home and it looks like it will be at least another month. Horrible!

If at all possible do not use this company!! It will require weeks to repair any Samsung products.From our initial contact to present it has been three weeks and my washing machine still isnt fixed There was damage to our property and the unfriendly people at Friendstek refuse to talk to me in regards to the busted flower pot off our drive way. Also the technician that was sent out did not speak English well at all. It was very frustrating not being able communicate with him. Im attaching a photo of the busted pot (please excuse the weeds). Some may feel its silly to be upset however if the man had told me up front it wouldnt have been a problem.

Friends Tek has the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with in my life. They have terrible reviews on at least three websites (Google, BBB, Facebook). I would suggest that if Samsung chooses this company for you, to request someone else. We had a simple problem with our Samsung washer. The tech came out once to diagnose the issue and order the part. They scheduled us for the install and gave us a time window of when he would arrive as usual. We confirmed this appointment THREE times. The day of service, no one shows and no one calls. I called the company four times with no answer. I left a message and they called back the next day saying they needed to reschedule (ya think?). After having to ask HER why they didnt show up or why they didnt call she said the part they received was defective. When I explained what happened with the no show/no call there was no apology, no regard for respecting our time, and no care whatsoever to make it right. I agreed to reschedule the next appointment for two weeks. That was yesterday. THE SAME THING HAPPENED with the exact same excuse as to why the tech didnt show up. Again, no call letting us know BEFOREHAND that the part was defective. (Wouldnt the part come in BEFORE the service appointment and wouldnt you call ahead of time to reschedule the appointment if it was defective?) At this point, I dont even believe this reason is true and feel like they are lying to make up for their deplorable ability to do their job. We called Samsung and explained our experience with this company and they agreed to transfer service to another company. I hope they are much better. I completely understand if parts come in defective, but make at least some kind of effort to respect the customers time and call them to give them a heads up and also apologize.

Not a reputable company. 3 visits and were not able to repair my Samsung washing machine. Kept having to get more parts and still couldn’t fix it but wanted to keep trying thing that might work instead of being honest and recommending we just buy a new unit. Waste of money. Also, extremely difficult to reach anyone on the phone, and don’t bother leaving a message because they don’t return calls.

They were supposed to replace a modular 1 cubic inch exhaust fan in a dishwasher, instead their tech destroyed my machine leaving it looking like it got hit by a car. You can see in the attached pics a dented door he used a screwdriver to pry apart. All this to replace a part in the door... So why did he pull the whole thing out and destroy the spring mechanism that keeps the door from slamming open you may ask? Because he had no clue what he was doing, and now the unit sprays water out of the side and insulation was ripped off the thing.In response they set me up with another appointment between noon and 4, the tech called me at 4:15 to tell me hed be at my place by 8pm. Its been a month now since they rendered my 4 month old machine useless and Friends Tek is hell-bent on making sure they dont have to fix their technicians brutal mistakes. Avoid this company at all costs, they are unprofessional, their owner is irresponsible, and their service is literally the worst.

Based on reviews there, this seems to be standard operating procedure. Horrible company that doesnt value the time of its clientele. There are SO many other options out there - dont know how they are still in business

David was AWESOME! He showed up on time, called and sent a text prior to arrival. He was very professional, kind and courteous. He explained the issue with my dryer and he gave advice on how to protect from the issue that he corrected! He told me not to hesitate to contact him if I had any further issues or concerns...I was VERY pleased with his service and expertise!

The repair person stripped the screw that is used to install the microwave, broke the bracket inside the microwave, but worse of all, CHIPPED MY GRANITE COUNTER TOP! The repair person chipped it because he set the microwave on top of the counter ! They did this back in October and still have not responded!

Didnt show. Rescheduled. 3 days shot, dealing with dishwasher repair. We will never buy another Samsung or LG appliance (our excellent local repairman wont repair those brands). And have you ever had a tech ask to use your bathroom 15 minutes after he arrived?! Totally unprofessional.

Do not use this company for repairs. First the tech came into my house and put his little bag down. He proceeded to take a picture of the serial number with his phone and said their was serious damage to my stove and he could repair it. Then he next said my house “stinks!!!” I ask what did you say and he said it again. He said he had a mask in his car. He got his mask and call somebody and said stove has damage to left side and that I would have to call Hone Depot for them to pick the stove up and bring me another one.My house was clean. I do have animals. Dogs and cats. But for him to say my house stinks. That was very unprofessional of him to say something like that. He does not need to go into peoples houses as a repairman and say stuff like that. He’s only a repairman and not a specialist in knowing what to do to fix an appliance. He was very rude. And didn’t even have my name spelled correctly. He needs to have some training in customer service before sending to customers houses.This is not a company I would recommend to go to anybody house to repair their appliances. The guy that came to my house name is Ryan Kim. Do not let him into your house. Very unprofessional.

My technician David did a great job. My refrigerator has no cooling issue. And it is out of warranty. But he fixed my refrigerator without any charges!!!!! And the refrigerator is working good now. He is really kind and polite. He explained everything about the problems. He is knowledgeable and professional. I definitely recommend this company and David!! Thank you so much your help.

Our technician MO was very courteous, informative, and did not mind answering any questions. He arrived on time and even called 20 minutes before arrival to let me know. Seemed to be very knowledgeable and wanted to know everything the washer was doing to make sure he addressed everything. Very quick on the repair and left the space just as it was when he arrived. If I have to have another repair in the future I will definitely as for MO to come out. Thank you!!!
