Walked in with messy hair, walked out as very happy client with a beautiful perfect hair updo. I was surprised at the cost very reasonable also. I definitely will go back for colors, haircuts from now on with Silvana.

I have been here multiple times and ever since I first set foot in there I immediately felt like family. Someone always greets you with a smile and makes you feel very special. The salon itself is incredibly clean and I always feel safe spending time in there. Everyone is distancing and wearing masks at all times. My girl Teresa is unbelievable. She always knows what color, cut, style, etc. will look good on each client and makes me feel beautiful. My hair has never looked or felt better since I started going to her. Pilorum is just an amazing experience. I’ve known Maggie for years and she is the most caring person! Going to Pilorum during Covid -19 Maggie and Neil go above and beyond keeping us safe. Right when you walk in you have your temp taken and lead to the sink to wash your hands. If you are wearing a cloth mask you are given a disposable mask so yours is not ruined! Everyone is social distancing and everything is cleaned after you leave the area. Keep up the great work! I wouldn’t feel as safe anywhere else! 😊

First of all I decided today to go and do a balayage with Mario Tricocci in Old orchard, they pretty much ruined my hair . Left in tears from there decided to look on Google foe a hair salon near my house in Niles . Their salon came up with great reviews and I decided to give them a call and see if there is anyway they can see me this weekend to fix my hair . Neil and Maggie went above and beyond to put me on today even though they were 110% booked . I can’t even describe what a great job they did !! It was exactly what I originally want it to get !! 1/30/2020This was my first visit to Pilorum and I went for color and cut as my friend had an appointment so I called to see if anyone had an opening at that time and yes... they did !Staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the call ( Neil) to make the appointment until I left.I was having a nightmare of a day and my stylist Samantha was wonderful.One thing I was impressed with was that the stylists who were working there would ask each other’s opinion on, for example, what color would be better.... 28A or 28 B ? If there is such a thing but my point being that they work as a team which in turn made me feel like I was going to have a great outcome.Sam did not disappoint!!The color is beautiful and a fabulous cut !Coffee, tea’s, homemade cookies and lovely environment.Thank you for everything 🤗

Ask for Belkie for lash lifts she does a great job and it’s priced very well. If you aren’t happy with they will fix it with no problems and free of charge.

It had been almost 1 year and 3 months since I have been going here. I can tell you. The decor is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. Theyve went above and beyond to accommodate me and my confuse scheduling to get me in. While letting me be able to express myself in my fair to resemble what Ive wanted. I went from blue, lavender, blonde and pink. Theyve been great for me. You should try then out 100% you will have a great experience.

I have been going to Maggie for years. Her place is really nice and bright, with really comfortable hair washing stations, and there is always coffee and treats. My 8 year old daughter also goes here too.

I met Neil and Maggie last summer prior to the opening of their new salon and found them to be genuinely nice young people. My wife visited Pilorum yesterday and just got a ladies hair cut. I just had the best airbrush spray tan experience at Pilorum! I had an appointment for the one hour spray tan and the tan turned out great. The facility was very modern, clean and everyone who worked there was so welcoming and helpful. I had a complimentary latte while Neil consulted with me about my tan and he walked me through the whole process from start to finish. I cant wait to come back for another spray tan.

Maggie has been cutting my hair for several years, so when she was moving to open her own salon, I switched over even though its a further drive from my house. She and her team offer great quality haircare, as well as numerous other services I havent tried. Free snacks (and wine after 5PM!) are a bonus too. Love the new location -- decor is very stylish and tasteful. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the market for a new salon!

Well first off id like to thank the whole staff and owner of the place. Nobody made me feel uncomfortable. My hair was exactly the way I wanted it actually even brought out my original color and the Vibe great. As somebody who deals with chronic illness, I barely leave my house and I came here trying to feel a little bit better. Everybody made me feel welcome Im treated me normally. Also everyone was extremely professional and The vibes great. They even have parking which is hard to find in this area. Elenora was awsome and just vary homs home feeling. Will return again and will be raving about this place to everyone

Never go there for airbrush tan! I went there for airbrush tan and what a mistake it was. Girl who did procedure clearly did this for first time! First she sprayed me with some aerosol spray . Then she started spay me with color. Some places she spayed me more, other places not at all. It was horrible! By the end she run out of color, but it did not bother her at all, even she did not finish with me yet. She told me to dry myself with air and left. I had brown spots on my neck, on my chest, my face. It the room there no towels any kind to dry my hands, or clean my self, my feet. I tried to call for help, nobody came. Good grief i had a black cloth and car. Owner ask me how was it. HORRIBLY!!!!!!! They should not be offering this service at all. Shame on them!
