WE DONT CARE AUTOSummary:1. Tried to charge me 3 hours when his worker told me directly he worked for 1 hour. - THIS IS WHY PEOPLE THINK HIS PRICES ARE GREAT - He gives you an exaggerated over estimate so he can bring it down to make you feel like your getting a deal! - This is what he tried to do with me.2. Did not do what was asked, instead he made the job easier by cutting and patching, instead of replacing.3. I requested a call if he was going to do anything different so I could approve it, He did not! Just went ahead with his new direction without notifying me.4. Work was sloppy! Installed rubber hose is rubbing against frame (wont last 6 months). Work area should be wiped clean, it was not! With all that steering fluid on your work area, how do you know there isnt another leak? It takes 2 seconds to wipe it down.5. MY STEERING WHEEL IS NOW RIPPED AT THE TOP. He must have been testing the steering back and forth with a tool in his hand.I immediately took this to another mechanic and gave him $30 to check his work. I wanted to make sure the line he patched was not pressurized. Luckily it was not. Rubber hose on this metal line is OK for now. He told me 3 hours labour (what Joe tried to charge me) is fine for replacing the hose, but not for the patch job that was done. He also showed me where it was rusting on different parts of the line that I ASKED HIM TO REPLACE!So now I have to drop more money to fix it again properly!The Story:Joe attempted to fix my power steering return line. I brought him the part to replace it but he decided to cut out the broken line and patch a metal line with a rubber hose. This is OK for a temporary fix but not what I asked for. I told him to call me if he was going to do anything different from what I asked. PAY ATTENTION TO THIS NEXT PART.I come in and Joe says, it took him 3 hours because its in a very difficult place to work. I asked to see what was done. The mechanic who worked on the car came to show me and lifted my car. I asked him how long it took him to fix it. He said about AN HOUR! Then he showed me the work. Work was sloppy. He didnt even wipe the oil from the work area. Also I noticed that he damaged my steering wheel. It looks like he was testing the steering with a tool in his hand and he ripped up the leather at the 12 oclock position.As far as I can tell, anyone giving a good review here is simply not aware of the trickery, and too trusting of mechanics. They dont ask questions. Theyre happy to pay what ever is asked and dont realize that sloppy work is being done to save the mechanic time.We just moved to Niagara. If anyone knows a reliable mechanic please let me know!

While visiting Niagara Falls, I had a hard start with my engine. I wasnt sure if it was the battery or the starter. I stumbled upon this small family owned business and they took my car in right away. They confirmed it was the starter and they got me back on the road very quickly. Their prices are very fair. Im licensed technician so I knew they were not trying to rip me off. The owner is very honest and kind. I would definitely recommend!!!

Excellent family owned and operated auto shop. The people there are friendly and informative. They tell you upfront what needs to be fixed, what can wait, and usually offer different options if you have a tight budget. If you leave your car there for a diagnosis theyll call you before they start any major work.

Came into Niagara from out of town. Staying for two days. When we pulled into hotel - car was making horrid noise. Called Joe here at We Care Auto - he said Bring it by so we can make sure its safe to drive for you. He and his staff were very kind and efficient. Cant say enough good.

The mechanic here did not know how to do a proper tire change. While I was driving, I kept hearing the bumping noise from the back of my car. I went to another auto center and they said that my wheel was loose because the lug nuts werent screwed in properly and the studs were broken. Lug nuts were impossible to take out (even with an impact wrench). This is possibly the least careful auto center Ive been in my life! I would have been killed because of a loose wheel due to awful tire change!

Went in for an safety and they said I needed a new break job but I just had the breaks done. I told him he was crazy I just had them done. I left down 113 dollars with a failed safety drive 9 blocks to Canadian tire layed another 100 dollars and passed.total scam artists. Dont waste your money

Why would I travel from Brampton to Niagara falls to have my car repaired. Because when I lived in Niagara Falls this garage repaired my car time after time for the best price. I had 3 quotes for a brake job as all three places said about $ 900. This garage did it for $ 530. and said the brake will be good for 70. to 90,ooo KL Thats one example.I dont know these guys but I definitely trust them.

Moved to Chippawa (Niagara Falls) from the Junction Triangle (Toronto) a year ago. I was spoiled by Chris and his crew from Melo Automotive on Dundas West for years, and so I was concerned about finding a good shop when we moved. Personal recommendations poured in all pointing to Joe’s shop at We Care Auto. I am captain cynic and am typically short with my praise, but I can comfortably say that Joe, wife, son, and staff have always provided us with incredible service: honest (urgent for safety vs not-necessary vs eventually but not yet), straight-forward (no sales pitches or add-ons, they drop the jargon and communicate themselves without puffery), effective (in their craft and in cost - truly no frills, bells, or whistles... Some of the best quotes I’ve ever received for auto services), and efficient (you’ll notice the no b/s attitude and the lack of corporate non-sense. If the wait is long they will say so.). Wife highly appreciates businesses who drop the sales-face and can be straight-forward. Big praises from her as well. We are tall orders and We Care Auto pours ‘em perfectly.
