Came in on a Friday morning for an oil change. Didnt have to wait very long. Dave the manager took all my info and prepared the invoice, while the oil change was being done. I chose to replace the air filter as it needed to be changed. Everyone there plays a big part of this TEAM. They ALL work together well and thats how they can get people in and out n on their way. Dave even came over after I pulled out and fixed the setting for the oil/change/filter display. DEFINITELY will be back!. I even snapped a pic of my car getting its oil transfusion 😂🛢️

Took my husbands truck in for an oil change at 8am. They were open promptly. Steven guided me in. He seen that the windshield wipers were in horrible condition and suggested I purchase a new pair. So, I did. I was thankful he pointed them out. He also tested my battery. Its slightly low. He suggested keeping an eye on it and also let me know what the pricing would be if I decided to replace it, with installation. Steven was extremely helpful & effecient. Knowledgeable too. He answered all my question on the spot. Great job. Ill be back.

Went to get a quick oil change here. 4 quarts of conventional oil and a filter $47 thats outrageous.

If you think a dealership oil change is expensive, try this place one time. They did an OK job, claimed on the receipt that they checked a bunch of things that they didnt check. In a pinch? Ok. Got time? Go somewhere else.

Dont let your kids go there,have a daughter who went and was taken advantage of,she works and goes to school dont have much money,and was told the most expensive oil was mandatory and to be what she got and cost her a hundred bucks!!!!

Horrible. The person guiding me out after my oil change allowed me to run over a bolt and didnt say anything. When I went back to ask what they could do about it. The guy told me to go to midas and get them to fix it. The guy from midas called and the manager at Valvoline was supposed to pay to have my tire replaced but they never confirmed with midas so I had to pay to get my own tire replaced because they had a person guiding me out didnt even check under my tires before telling me to pull forward and I ran over the bolt. Wont be going back there.

Wish they had stuff they needed for additional services but short staffed and short inventory. Great attitudes and I like this new location. I plan to come back.

Not a big fan of being sold over priced items that I may or may not need. If they arent commissioned they are certainly bonuses. How hard is it to just get a damn oil change and how many people say yes to things they dont need very very sad

Don’t go against their recommendations because they will insult you and make you feel like a piece of garbage. I’ll pay an extra 15$ at another place so that I don’t have to be insulted by the MANAGER! will not return !

I became stranded in the parking lot of this Valvoline location after a flat tire. I had been waiting for roadside assistance for several hours and they never showed up. Emily and Ronnie came out to help me in the rain and snow and we’re able to get my tire switched out for me. Their hospitality and customer service was unbeatable, and I’m so grateful for the help they gave me! If you’re looking for a great customer experience and a competent team of people, you’ll definitely find it here!

The short answer, is that the employee my wife interacted with didnt really help her or care about her experience at all.My wife wanted the cheapest oil change, but doesnt know much about cars. She already had a coupon ready. When she presented the coupon for conventional oil, she was brushed off, and only given synthetic options.Now, I understand why synthetic options were presented. My cars manual recommends them. But my car doesnt really need synthetic oil if its changed regularly.Conventional oil was never given as an option to my wife, despite the fact that she presented the conventional oil coupon, and stated that she wanted the cheapest oil change. They said the cheapest oil change was the low grade synthetic option.At then end, the my wife tried to present the coupon again, and the employee brushed it off without looking at it (meaning she knew what it was) and said that coupon didnt apply.If the employee had suggested looking for a coupon for synthetic oil, that might have been different. We all know theyre a dime a dozen out there. But no help was offered.I also tried reaching out to customer care, who got me in touch with what I assume to be management. They basically said that she was offered the cheapest option since the manual recommends synthetic oil.The issue is, my wife tried to get conventional oil from the beginning. She had the coupon, presented it, and was basically diverted to another option that she didnt want.If there had been more sympathy or understanding from management, this review also might have been different. But there wasnt.I dont hate Valvoline. My best oil change experience was with another shop. But were not coming back to this one.

I used the Newport, KY location yesterday, and it was the first time I have ever been to a quick change type of shop. I didnt have to wait very long and I never had to get out of the car. I only have one bad thing to say and that is the price is pretty high compared to places like Walmart and other shops where you have to drop off the car and wait for it. But I found a 50% off coupon online and that put the price right there with Walmart. As long as I can find coupons like that I will continue to get all my oil changes done there.

Valvoline in general is extremely reliable and Ive always had great service. This particular location was right up there with the rest of it. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

The assistant manager Josh and Brooks was very helpful 10/10 in my book my mother and wife came in a few days ago and these two guys went above and beyond to make sure that the transmission service and oil change went smooth for the both of them, guys you will always have are business and dont let me for get the guy that was working under the car singing. Thank you all for taking care of the both of them

Group of giggly semi pubescent man children took almost 30 minutes to change my oil and their supervisor would not cease trying to make me pay 60 dollars more for oil I did not need. Im definitely going to just go to the cold spring one.

I absolutely do not like this place. So i work 3rd shift so while they are doing my oil change they stalled me to have the police show up to speak to me because I dozed off because I work 3rd shift and was very tired. Instead of them asking me directly they send the police to me. I give this place an absolutely negative 0 stars

Ive been using Valvoline for sometime now and when I went to the store in New port KY, all I see is 3 guys working on all these vehicles and know ones else helping them and they was covered in sweat and the 2 guys that came out I believe there names where Scott and brooks sounded like they was winded and they kept saying sorry for the wait I felt bad for how bad they was being treated working in these conditions so bad after I left with my girlfriend we went and picked them up a case of water but the store was closed and I fell bad I will be back tomorrow with that case of water for you guys and you best believe I will be calling you corporate headquarters and talking to someone because know one should be worked like that.
