Thank you Jeff B. and the mechanics who worked on my car Saturday. I wanted a new set of tires and some other work done. I called my usual shop and was told it would be 6-8 weeks before they could get me in. On Friday I called a shop close to my house and set an appointment for the next morning. They didnt have the tires that they promised theyd have waiting to be put on my car. I called Jeff @ Firestone for an appointment. I expected it to be a few days or a week before they could get to me. To my surprise Jeff told me to bring my car in now and hed guarantee that it would be done before they closed that evening.His word was gold. The work was done and done right. His mechanics even caught and fixed something my old shop messed up the last time they had my car.I was very impressed that Jeff and his crew were able to work me into their schedule and get the work done on such short notice.Thanks Jeff. Dont expect your appt time to be honored. Sat for 3.5 hours and still my car was not even taken in to be worked on. I understand it was busy but really taking in a car with a later appt before an earlier one.

My visit was quick and efficient. I had got a flat and fixed it with some sealant (big no no), so I had to get at least one new tire. Ultimately, I needed four new tires. I got four new tires and an oil change. My appointment was at 5 and they pulled my car in within five minutes of my appointment time. I was done by 6:45. I really like the Newport location. I always feel like Im getting quality work done. Plus its also nice to see a familiar face. The guy at the counter has been there for so many years. This is a great place to get your car serviced.

Second time I had a dead battery. I stopped in without an appointment and asked if they had time for a battery check. The gentleman behind the counter helped me right away. The diagnostic said everything is fine. (Ill be sure to start my car daily during the winter.) He told me no charge as I started to follow him back inside. Thank you Firestone! And thank you masked sir with the pretty green eyes and the shiny silver wedding ring 😉!

I had a non-emergency tow situation. My tire went flat in my driveway, and I was trying to get a same day fix. I was told that despite being booked, theyd be able to squeeze me in. They didnt. At about 10 til closing, I called them to check on the status of my car and they said it would have to wait until the next day but it was first in line to be looked at. They open at 8 a.m. and, after not hearing from them at 12:30, I called to see what was going on and they still hadnt even looked at my car. Since they hadnt looked at it yet, I asked if theyd be able to diagnose a sound my car was making. I figured I might as well have them check it out. And I was told the charge for trying to figure out what the sound is would be $100...plus repair costs. Most places will waive that fee if you get the problem fixed with them.Almost 21 hours after they said my car would be ready, it finally was.The work was fine but I still wish I could give this place zero stars for wasting so much of my time. Would not recommend at all.

They didnt try to over sell me. I have been twice now. They didnt offer me anything silly things other places have like an overpriced air filter change. I have had alignment, a tire repair and an oil change. They forget to actually air up my tires each time I went back the first time and asked them to so thats kind of annoying but the work time turn around and prices are good

Thought first two were decent.Unfortunately 3rd time on February 20-21 was not as good.Dropped off GMC Terrain for rear brakes ( had front brakes in Oct at this location)Checklist of recommended items listed hundreds of additional dollarsNew Battery $150 plus ( I had bought and installed a new battery 3 weeks earlier at different location)2 new front tires $240 plus ( I have an ALL Wheel drive - requires all 4 changed at same time??)Additional other charges not listed totaling another $300-$400 dollarsStated all new front brakes needed ( had front brakes worked in mid Oct at this location. Had less than 7000 miles on them ). Well that’s interesting$800 all brakes estimated.Shame on me I guess for letting them still do brakes but I knew I needed the rear brakes.When asked was told just going off list must be an old list from last time??? So why did you charge me for $14.99 for overall inspection??BUYER BEWARE!

Outstanding in and out service for replacing five trailer tires. Ordered on a Tuesday and on the rim next morning. Store Manager (Mike Means) was spot on exceeding my needs. The technician (forgot his name) was awesome. I will return, o ya I was referred here from my father in-law. We both live much closer to a competitor.

Been sitting here 15 minutes and every person that has went to the desk has had an “oil leak”.Dropped my car off at 8am for an alignment and oil change. It’s passed 4.They had a laundry list of things to replace, multiple included things that had already been repaired or were fine like my battery.

I have had them taking care my vehicles since about 1985 and havent found a reason to switch. Even when I have had certain policies that gave me a discount at different service centers the other service centers were not cheaper.

Takes 5 hours to change brake pads. Please dont waste your time here.

Be very careful at this place. Scam artists. I went in 2 months ago to get my oil changed and new wiper blades. Went back a week later for the full inspection. They cleared my car, nothing wrong with it, except they said I needed new wiper blades. I informed them that they just replaced it. The guy said, oh, thats right, never mind. Two weeks later I had to take my car elsewhere because my tire light was on and transmission fluid low. Keep in mind that they check tire pressure and fill you up on transmission oil when you do the full inspection. They do NOT do inspections. Also keep in mind no matter whats wrong with your car or not wrong with your car they will tell you that you need new wiper blades and air filter. Total scam.

I started using this place 3 years ago. Have now taken all 3 of my vehicles there multiple times. They never try to sell me something I dont need. Fair pricing. Work is guaranteed, but have never had to make use of the guarantee because the work is always done right the first time and has never been an issue. They always get the vehicle repaired and back to us by the time we tell them we need it. Take the time and explain what they found and what they will do to fix it.

This has been my go-to auto repair place for the last two years, and I would highly recommend their services. Every time Ive had to bring my vehicle in for any kind of service, theyve taken the time to explain the repairs and have given me a reasonable quote for service. I purchased the lifetime alignment for both of my vehicles, and Ive never had a problem scheduling service, even though this place is usually busy.

Just like every car shop, but told me i needed new things that I knew were brand new... doubled checked and sure enough I could tell they didn’t even look they just threw it on the report.

Went in because my tire was losing air. They couldn’t fit me in Saturday but had suggestions to hold me over and offered to put the spare on. They were compassionate, patient and fit me right in the following day. On Sunday they got to me right away, pulled a nail out and repaired. Again they were genuine, caring and compassionate. I was upset because it was second nail in a month, I was thinking I had bad juju but they totally talked me off the ledge. Great team! Highly recommend!

Took my Mini in to a dealer for something else and was told the brakes needed replaced. Based on the high price, I took the car to firestone. They checked the wear on the brakes and the wear was only about halfway from new pads to the the point where they needed replaced. Firestone checked the tires, topped off the fluids, and there was no charge. They are my car repair shop of choice from now on.

My mom and I have been customers here almost my whole life. Ive known the manager since I was 4, and he has taken care of my familys vehicles ever since. I trust them, they have my safety and that of my daughter at heart, and care for their customers.

Im 100% convinced that Jeff is a guardian angel sent down from above to let us know that everything will be okay!!! I swear every time I go there Im in a TERRIBLE MOOD or have my kids (2yrs & 6mnths) with me...🙄Yet I cant begin to explain how much he has done for me in the many years Ive gone to Firestone!!! They were very responsible. They accidentally broke my hood latch, and my hood flew up on the highway. They were very courteous and took care of the repairs. They also put me in a rental car while mine was in the shop. This could have been a huge headache, instead they provided great customer service. I highly recommend this store, and particularly Jordan and Brent for taking care of the problem.

Ive had good service at Firestone shops before, so when I bought a used car and moved to the Newport area, I figured Id try them out. I booked an online appointment for an oil change, and when I showed up a few days later all the paperwork was ready and I was done in about an hour. No problems, so Ill be back.

Arrived at 8 this morning and let employee know I had an hour and a half to kill and needed an oil change. 10:30 now and my car is on the lift with no one working on it. Go somewhere else if you have any kind of schedule at all.

Got the old changed but they didnt do a up overall inspection had problems later

I had a tire blow out on the expressway on a Saturday night. AAA towed me to the Firestone in Newport and my car was ready, new tire replaced by 10:15 on Sunday morning! They were a pleasure to deal with! Will be back!
