Ms. Tawanna was the greatest! She pushed back my cuticles perfectly! Other nail salon seem to have stopped doing that and just clip. Also, I loved that instead of SCRAPING excess nail polish off my skin with her own fingernail, she took her time carefully removing it with a brush 👍👍👍I just found this nail salon. Its under new management. All of the women are pleasant, considerate and professional. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Theyre all amazing at what they do! (I was looking at another customers nails too). Try this nail salon instead of where youre at!

I’m truly upset. I went to get my nails done last Friday. Within a week, my gel is chipping. The application of the gel was horrible. The gel is separating because my nails weren’t properly cleaned before the application. I went back today, at 6:15, and Yolanda told me that she would have to see if she can fit me in after she did someone’s lashes. The salon closes at 8. I only asked for my nails to be repainted & I expressed that I needed them done today. She went on to say that she’ll “have to see” because she’s closing the shop early. I tried to get them fixed yesterday as well but the shop was closed early... again. Wouldn’t recommend.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. Ms. Yolanda is very professional and knowledgable in this profession. She is very talented and my nails always look fabulous. She is very pleasant and patient and believes in giving you what you want with your mani and or pedi. I highly recommend Modern Nails. You will love the experience and you will keep going back.

MaKayla is such a talented technician! She does amazing with manicures, pedicures, designs, eyebrows, etc. And if she doesnt know it shes already in the process of learning it! Great, clean salon with friendly technicians!

The most ghetto salon I have ever encountered. They have been under construction for atleast the last 6 months and nothing has changed besides the hideous paint on the walls. Employees are not dressed and appear to be in their house clothes. Attitudes are not good and if the hours are stated as so on the door, they are always closed before. I tried them several times to give them a chance and I feel rushed and pay to much for a 15 minute job. I can paint my own skin for $40.

Where do I start... The staff was very polite however I was in there for 4 hours just to get a pedicure and gel overlay on my nails! Let’s start with the pedicure; it started out good but after a while it started to go downhill. My big toenail is damn near gone and the polish on my toes look horrible. Now on to my nails; first off my cuticles are itching like crazy. My nails are not polished evenly and there’s lumps in the polish. There’s gel top coat all on my skin.. ughhhhhh I just so disappointed and was not pleased with my service at all. I will never go back !

The girls do great work. But the paint that they use does NOT last at all. I went there 4 times and did gel manicure(which should last about 4 weeks) lasted me 1 and a half weeks and pedicure paint last about a week. Horrible quality nail polish. Therefore I dont recommend it at all.

I went on my birthday to get a gel pedicure... this was the most uncomfortable pedicure I have ever had. It started off OK in the pedicure chairs, and the girl doing my pedicure was very pleasant. Then it was time to start the gel nail polish… I had to move over to a computer chair and lift my foot up one to the girls leg so that she could paint my nails. I was uncomfortable, and the only other option was for the girl to sit on the floor to do my gel nails. I will never go here again, and I suggest you dont either.

Bad experience. The owner took 2 and a half hours do to a gel fill in & they look terrible. A day later polish looked thinned out and thick in other areas. Bumpy application. Extremely upset.

She severed my relationship with Asian Salons!!! I was thoroughly educated today.

There was only 1 lady working and doing pedicures, she did both my friend and myself in LESS than an hour. i personally have never gotten a pedicure where i am in and out in less than 45 mins to an hour and here we had TWO people in and out in that short time. not to mention im 9 months pregnant and was really looking forward to relaxing during this time. i paid $25 plus a tip to have my feet soak in hot water and have my polish changed. no rub or scrub like im use to. very rushed and not to mention my polish was chipped 3 days later.

How do you run a nail salon and don’t even have have new polish, on your phone while doing a service, taking years to do a pedicure? I mean I should’ve done them myself omg will never go here again. I wasn’t even comfortable. The ladies are nice but they have nothing on Asian/japeneese nail techs their technique is not up to part. I was unsatisfied with my toes and being that her co worker seen that klumpy old polish on my toe her co worker tried to butter up her up as if the work was nice. They are welcoming and polite but the service is a bit unprofessional and slow I see why they are low in receiving business.

A very cute place to get nails done run by such a sweet and thoughtful family. They even used their umbrella to bring us to the car in the pouring rain afterwards. The girls speak very good english and they did a great job painting my nails. Comfortable massage chairs and they took their time without rushing through any part:) Affordable prices too!

If I could mark it as 0 stars I would. Since the place went under new management the staff is rude and the atmosphere feels uncomfortable. I have since changed the location of where I get my nails done and am much happier. Would not recommend going here there are so many places in NN that are cleaner nicer and SIGNIFICANTLY better service and staff!
