I have been getting my hair cut by Bao for coming up on 3 years (before he even had his current store front) and he is still the best value in the area for the amount of quality he puts in. $18 a cut and I have seen him do multiple styles. After years of military cuts and looking for a good full service barber, he does right by me. Place is always clean and he always is friendly. He does everything by appointment so there’s no wait when you walk in for your time.

I refuse to let anyone else cut my hair. I’ve been coming to Mr. Bao for years. Best haircut in all of Hampton roads and doesn’t charge extra for little things like a part line. He cares about every haircut he does and is meticulous every time. He’s always asked my daughter how she doing every time. He legitimately cares about his customers and his business. Well worth the drive every time to get my hair cut. I will continue to go to mr bao for the entire time I am in the hampton roads area.

I just started going to Mr. Bao, and I can tell you that I am very satisfied with my haircut and how fast he gets it done 30 minutes tops. Very organized and sanitary. I will definitely be coming back

Bao is a great barber at a very affordable price. He is very talented with the razor and I always come out of his chair loving my haircut. Definitely recommend him for all your haircut and shave needs! Ive even taken my toddler son to him and he does a great job keeping him calm during his haircut.

Bao has been cutting my hair and beard for years now. One of the best barbers on the peninsula, I followed Bao from Dave’s barbershop in Hampton. “Another good barber” but long story short if you want a clean shop and a barber that’s always on time and the best straight razor shave go see Bao!!!

I got a haircut that I was about ten minutes late to, and thankfully he still took me in. I’ve always struggled with my hair as my hairline is not the best. After about 5 years of trying different places and time and time again being disappointed, I got the best haircut I’ve ever gotten in my entire life. I feel like a new man and have my confidence back! My wife also loves it! I’m going back tomorrow for my beard and I will be continuing to go after then. The place is very clean, professional, fast, and you can really tell that he takes pride in his craft. I will be highly recommending this man to all of my friends!

Aside from the many fake 5-star reviews, the guy is a good barber. However, prices are expensive and his wife/staff are rude. If someone is a potential customer, why would you attempt to stare them down?

Consistently great military haircuts. One of the few barbers around that still does straight razor fades. You can even get a shampoo done after your haircut to clean up. $16 for a haircut, $7 for a shampoo. Go see Bao!

Clean, polite, professional, reasonable price, reasonable speed, great parking, easy to find. Did an excellent job on my 14 year old and 8 year old son. Trimmed my pixie cut too and did an excellent job even though he doesnt normally do ladies cuts!
