We had the best time ever tooting around the harbor in a boat. My experience with Newport Beach boat rental was excellent. I called on a Friday right before Fathers Day and they did everything to try to find me a boat. And they succeeded. Now it was my own fault that I made it so long to decide to rent a boat so I didnt get the exact code I wanted, but they got me in. Im very pleased and we will be back and their prices were the best out of all the boat rentals in Newport.

Decided to rent a boat and cruise the harbor around Balboa Island. So much fun!! We reserved a boat for 3pm and the worker called us half hour early to say boat was ready. Let us take the boat early and let us have the extra half hour for free. A fun time!!

This company was quick to take money out of my account but not send me my confirmation and there is no way to get a hold of them

Easy online rental process, online waiver and super nice and friendly staff. Young man named Jack helped us into the boat and got us going. Truly a pleasure! A two-hour tour is a must to see the whole bay on an electric Duffy.

Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend it.

Make sure you don’t need to cancel. NO REFUNDS AND NO CREDIT even if you cancel in advance and never use the boat. BAD BUSINESS!

We had the pleasure of renting from this company. Everything was easy to do – signed waivers online, showed up and got in the boat. The best part is it’s a pet-friendly business that allows you to bring your dog on board. My family went away with way more then what we expected! Nice people, seamless process, great experience!

Enjoyed 2 hours with friends cruising the bay on a beautiful afternoon. This boat was roomy . It Had a large foldout table in the middle where we had a nice food spread. Eat, drink and be marry.

We took some out-of-town guests for a cruise around the harbor. We enjoyed a light meal and a bottle of wine. The boat was clean and the staff was very kind and friendly. We all had a very nice, relaxing time

My son and I had a blast! The staff was exceptionally friendly. The small powerboat we rented was fully functional and floating. With a Discovery Cube membership the rental fee is very reasonable. We will return many times.

Ive been a member for many years I love the larger boats 40 too 50 I have never had any problems with any charters. Its my greatest love. I owned my own 32 Newport at one time and l feel this club membership is much much better.

Worst service I ever received. I was talking to a gentleman about rentals until another old geezer jumped into our conversation and this old geezer starts giving me and my party attitude. I have always rented from here and this definitely was the cherry on top never again. After we started leaving I said we will be back and he replied we wont have availability. I replied back theres 4 other companies. No need to be an ***hole

INTENTIONALLY DECEPTIVE! We were visiting Socal from the east coast, and wanted to rent a boat to go out on the ocean. We booked through their website and NOWHERE on their entire site does it mention the fact... that they dont allow the boats OUT OF THE HARBOR!What is even the point of that? Thats like having a car rental place at the airport, and not allowing the cars to LEAVE the airport.Its a boat rental place ON THE OCEAN. The logical assumption is that the boats are meant to be taken OUT ONTO THE OCEAN. If you cant leave the harbor, whats even the point?Look, if you want to restrict your boats to the harbor, thats your right, but you need to make that VERY VERY CLEAR from the get go. Instead, they dont say ANYTHING about this restriction until youre already there, GETTING on the boat, and by that point youve already paid!

This is a fun way to get out in Newport Beach on your own on the cheap. Its under $100 an hour. I feel like I got a great deal everytime I do this.
