We had a great time relaxing on this tour. Your staff was very easy going and went out of their way to make sure we saw whales. We were lucky and just happened to see 4 right where they said they would be. The sunset was amazing and the boat was clean.

Went on a sunset cruise and was not disappointed! Even got to seem a whale and some dolphins while we were out there. Worth every penny.

Nice boat, pretty view. We went on the 7:15pm sunset cruise and it was pretty. The only thing I didnt like was that we docked about 15 minutes before we were supposed to. I mean, its only a 90 minute cruise. The boyfriend says he thought it was pretty dull, I can see that since they go to one end and turn around in the bay area.

My husband and I did the whale watching cruise and the sunset cruise. Both were amazing experiences. The boat guides were informative for the whale cruise and did there best to get close enough for all to see any whale action. The sunset cruise was more relaxed and he kept the boat in the direction the sun was going. The staff was super friendly, we got drink tickets for a free drink or a discount off a cocktail and they had a great selection. I would do it all over again.

It was amazing! The waters were calm so our captain took us out on the ocean and managed to find a school of dolphins that swam alongside our boat for about five minutes. What an incredible experience! I got some really impressive video of the dolphins swimming right next in the front of the boat and jumping out of the water in unison. The sunset was amazing and the crew were very fun. I HIGHLY recommend this cruise.

We had a wonderful time celebrating with family on our June 29th Sunset Cruise on the Legacy! We witnessed a truly stunning and long lasting sunset! Captain Sterling and crew did a great job! I enjoyed visiting with Sterling when he wasnt busy. Thanks to all for a wonderful Experience. I highly recommend this trip and will return again in the future.

Our Sunset Cruise was such a relaxing experience! Great captain (missed his name; 7:30pm on 7/21). It was a busy weekend night, so the boat was definitely close to capacity, but people stayed away from the second level because of the breeze. Great views! This cruise does NOT go out onto sea, for anyone who is wondering; it reaches the end of the peninsula and docks there to view the sunset.

My wife and I were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. The crew was not only very courteous but also very upbeat and you could tell that their main concern was the safety off all on board. The captain informed us as to what we could expect and maintained control while allowing the passengers to have fun. We felt quite safe and the boat was quite clean. As far as we are concerned, the captain and crew deserve every bit of their bonus and I only hope that the other passengers would take time out to provide a great review as they deserve it. Overall a great boat ride.

The crew was very polite and fun. We happened to see group of dolphins and the captain seemed to stay out a little longer to give us a close up. I thought that was very cool of him to do that when he probably didn’t have to. I also liked the boat a lot. It’s spacious and in great condition. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the alcohol beverage prices.

It was really fun. The crew took us to watch sea lions ....We got tickets from Google ..the price is affordable. They included one drink each ticket. We got table red wine. Excellent!!! Just the wine is worth the ticket?

This is worth the groupon for sure! Cant beat it! Great little escape from the real world. Only thing I was disappointed in was the drink coupon. A bit deceiving. You get 2 drinks tickets but once youre there, if you want liquor, it is an additional $4. Wine and beer are good for the coupons but thats about it. The crew was cool! They were quick and attentive. I would definitely do this again!

This was a very nice cruise to see the sunset over the ocean. The boat was clean and comfortable. The Captain, whose name is Sterling, was exceptionally pleasant and informative. There was a small child that was full of questions, and the Captain was incredibly gentle and kind in dealing with him while keeping an constant eye on his piloting responsibilities. Your company is fortunate to have great folks like Sterling to be your face to the public.

The highlight for my daughter and I was seeing the group of dolphins so near the boat and the hungry pelicans diving for their evening meal. Two little sea lions swam up to the boat to check us out. The coastline was beautiful, and the sunset was stunning. It was a fun cruise! Definitely recommend.

What an amazing operation this is. Very well organized and staffed. All ship personnel were very courteous and helpful, and the cruise was beautiful for our three generation party of ten. The dolphins playing alongside the ship as we went out and back into the harbour was an extra bonus. All in all, it was a wonderful evening adventure for our family.

Wife and me got a sunset cruise. We saw an amazing romantic sunset, a couple of well done cocktails and some snacks.We had done other small cruises like this in other places as Santa Barbara, San Francisco, etc in all places drinks are just ice they dont offer snacks but these ones were really good, when I ask for some peanuts or olives with our drinks, he handed me a small cup with 4 nice served olives.Were looking forward to come back.Thanks Daveys locker Whale watching and sportfishing.

This was a part of a Christmas present to my parents and overall we all had a wonderful time. The crew members were great and timing was perfect. The only problem we ran into was with other patrons. Had a large rowdy group in their 40’s that decided to sit up top with us. They started hanging from the awning and acted like a bunch of 5 year olds. The romantic value diminished quite fast and several others sitting atop with us decided to try to find other places. Other than that, the weather couldn’t have been better. Will definitely try this again.

This experience was amazing from start to finish. I was running late and made it just in time. But the way the staff helped me with the drink tickets was so amazing. The views were spectacular and the captain played great music. Very beautiful and i would recommend everyone to try this!

I was looking for something special to do with my husband for our 49th wedding anniversary. Thought this would be romantic but unfortunately it wasnt quite what I had in mind......nothing romantic about it. We could have stayed on the dock to view the beautiful sunset!

Very nice... my wife and I enjoyed the whole cruise. Had the Duke Virginia Tech game on the big screen.... great atmosphere, staff was friendly and accommodating. We got awesome pictures, definitely doing that again!!

I really enjoyed this sunset cruise! The staff were all very nice and helpful. I called in a couple times to ask questions and they were able to help me right away and they actually called me back when I left a message. It was very easy to book the cruise and find where to check in. Tip: if you want to sit in a particular place try to line up earlier during for the check in. I would say 40 minutes before will get you a good spot. The boat is a little on the older side but they have nice tables, bathrooms, and mini bar. Everything is super clean and comfortable. The harbor itself is gorgeous. My friends and I had a great time taking pictures, playing games (that we brought), and talking while the sun set. I highly suggest finding good deals on Groupon. We had free parking after 6pm that I think was at the Balboa Municipal Parking Lot.

I enjoyed this outing very much. It was last minute and it was no problem getting on board. It was relaxing and fun for me and my fiance I will be returning with my step daughters soon. The crew was excellent I had a great time I look forward to coming back!

Great cruise! It wasnt a drinking party cruise, which we appreciated. the crew was fantastic. we got to see dolphins and walruses. the sunset was beautiful. all in all, it was a very nice, relaxing cruise. we would definitely do it again!

I enjoyed the Sunset Cruise a lot! It was a great way to end the day. There were a lot of couples on the boat enjoying the harbor. I love how you could pre-purchase drink tickets with your reservation because you wouldnt have to bring a purse if you didnt want to. There was a lot of people waiting in advance so get there 30 minutes early if you want a seat. I think there should be more seats on the upper deck because space was limited and that was the best place to see the sunset.

Great experience. First date here and it was absolutely amazing. We were scheduled to do dunset cruise but missed the boat. They scheduled us for the evening cruise. The crew members were friendly, boat was clean and music was great.

A group of us took a Sunset tour. The journey reminded me why we live in Southern California. It was absolutely gorgeous as the sun set over the water. The captain announced a couple of landmarks, including the second largest sports fishing boat in the world that happened to be docked in port. (For $29 million, 85 guys can build another one for you.) The staff was friendly and made an announcement celebrating our hosts birthday.

We really had a nice time on the cruise. We are from Huntington Beach and I didnt think it was going to be a great cruise because it was overcast and cloudy, but God didnt disappoint! Wow, what a beautiful sunset we had, even through the clouds - the Pink, yellow, purple colors were absolutely beautiful. The cruise was on time, professional and all around lovely! If you choose to go, have fun, we did.

I have been on the day cruises and have enjoyed those, but I did not enjoy the sunset cruise. The music was so loud and at one point, they blared the Macarena song??? Not relaxing at all. They did not really go out into the ocean, but drove really slow in the harbor. I couldnt wait to get off the boat. This was not a single persons idea of fun considering they kept playing cheesy love songs that were geared towards couples. The boat had this bright fluorescent lights all around it and would have been nicer to have a dimmer light so you could enjoy the night air and stars.

It was wonderful. We went as the sun was setting and was able to enjoy the cruise and views at night. It did get a bit chilly so if you take the nighttime trip bring a sweater or small, light blanket or throw. The views were absolutely stunning.

Ocean was a little choppy so they stayed in the harbor. It was still a beautiful trip and beautiful views. For the price, it is such a great way to spend a couple of hours taking in the sights. Highly recommend. There is a restroom on board.

Great Sunset & Harbor Cruise. We left in the perfect amount of time to catch the full sunset just past the breaker, cruised the beautifully lit harbor after dusk, and paused at spots of interest where wed see things like the sea lions basking on the breaker buoy just off the bow. The cabin is spacious, the decks are spotless, the crew will talk you up while they work, and the captain controls the pitch and roll professionally. I was able to get a Groupon for 2 on the Sunset Cruise w/ drinks and they handle the voucher when you make your reservation in advance, so theres no fussing with your phone or getting digital barcodes scanned. The only things stopping me from awarding 5 stars is that the boat left 30min late and the cocktails barely tasted of any alcohol. I would recommend this service and take it again, though. We had a wonderful evening cruise through Newport Beach Harbor.

I took the sunset cruise with the boyfriend and it was neat. It was a full 90 minutes as they advertise. They have beverages (ones with alcohol too 😉) for sale along with snacks. Lots of seating space both upstairs and downstairs. Fun! Definitely recommend.

It was a nice experience!! Personally if I would to do it again, Id go on a earlier boat tour. The one we had was scheduled at 7pm so we didnt really get the full experience plus it was really cold. Nonetheless, the sunset was wonderful and we saw some sea creatures ^.^

I went on the 8:45pm cruise and found it really relaxing. It was 90 minutes; we cruised around the harbor and loved seeing the homes and the lights and other boats. We were lucky enough to see the famous Invictus super-yacht. The captain and the crew members were energetic and glad you were there. There was plenty of room to sit and walk around. We got Bud Lights with out drink ticket; wine and well cocktails were also available. Even though we arrived to Newport around 7:15pm, all the recommended parking was taken. we found a lot near the library, but ended up enjoying walking up and down E Bay and W Bay Avenue, looking at the cute beach homes.

So much fun. We are seniors with a limited budget. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for an awesome evening.

Great cruise!!!! The captain could have explained about the cruise in the beginning as to where we were headed and the surrounding area. Also that there might have been the possibility of seeing dolphins..... which we did see and made the cruise even more special. The music could have been a better selection and a little louder at the beginning of the trip.

I am a Orange County local who purchased a Groupon for this sunset cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We attended with two other couples and enjoyed watching the sunset and being on the water. The captain brought us out of the harbor to see some seals and then drove through the Newport Harbor to bring us back to the Balboa Fun Zone area. Very enjoyable evening and would recommend for out of towners and locals alike!

We live in Newport and havent taken this fun cruise before; we had a great time as the Legacy was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, good drinks, and friends. My boyfriend and I had a great experience yesterday on the sunset cruise! I made sure to read reviews and do research with things like parking, etc before heading out and we had such an amazing day. We got out to balboa around 1:30/2pm, and found parking RIGHT on Main Street, so close to the beach and Daveys locker. (The parking meter was broken and wouldn’t accept our card, but luckily they allow you to pay for parking on your phone, also parking may have been super easy because we were there on a weekday). I only had to pay $15 for parking which was awesome, street parking is free after 6! We spent a few hours on the beach swimming and laying out, then we had dinner Ruby’s Diner on the pier.We checked in for our sunset cruise around 6:30. Once you check in you start lining up for the cruise around 7:15. Me and my boyfriend walked around Balboas little boardwalk to kill time. We went on the Ferris wheel and just hung out.We lined up fairly early (7:05) and were like 3rd in line. Which is great because once we got on the boat we went straight to the upper deck and got AMAZING seats! So where you are in line does matter if you want good seats. I bought us drink tickets so before we took off I went down and got us two sodas. After reading some reviews I was nervous because it said the line for drinks gets so long and there’s only one bartender. Maybe since it was a weekday it wasn’t that bad, but I got my drinks within like 5 min before we took off for the cruise.The cruise was really nice, they played nice music and we mostly cruised around the marina, looking at the amazing houses and boats. We did end up going to the end of the rock jetty’s facing the open ocean for another awesome view of the sunset. It was a nice end to the day. Everything went so smoothly and there were no issues at all! Maybe just people like not having respect for personal space and crowding our little area but that’s about it.

This was one of the best experiences we had. My two friends and I enjoyed the cruise at night after exploring the area as a day-long trip. It was so relaxing and beautiful. The moon, the stars, the beautiful buildings with their unique lightings, the waves, the small boats and the big ones that had wedding celebrations going on were all together just pure beauty. We would love to do this again.

This was the first time for me and enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was overcast and cloudy when I went, so I didnt get to see the sun set. Other than that it was great, I can only imagine how it would be if it was on a nice sunny day. I will be booking another trip next year in the summer for sure.

First time on the sunset cruise and we had the best time! The crew overall did an amazing job but there was this one female that seemed to be running the whole show. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name but she was screaming from the top of her lungs before we went into the cruise lol she made sure everyone knew what to do and made the experience super pleasant! Sort of a rough day for a boat cruise (sunset cruise), so they kept us within the breakwater, but as usual, still had a nice time seeing the sunset. The ENTIRE crew & stay was welcoming welcoming, fun and professional.Would highly suggest taking the cruise, very relaxing inboard!

We had a blast but definitely not worth $144 it said it would originally be on the site for 4 people. Glad we paid for Groupon. The drinks were stiff though and the scenery was nice. Awesome people just not worth almost $200

Beautiful trip out of the harbor for a fantastic sunset.We saw, without exaggeration, over 20 dolphins playing....including some calfs. Weather and water could not have been better...smooth as glass and temperature of 78 degrees.Would highly recommend

I needed the sunset cruise! I love the water...the whole experience was what i needed. I accidentally purchased three and gave one to each of my kids and for a selfish moment i thought about taking them back. the view was spectacular! The margaritas and pina coladas were everything! A bit pricey though. The captain was friendly and accommodating.Thanks for the peace well needed :)

My Friends and I went on our last day in town. We had a wonderful time. The guitar player was Excellent. We danced and had a very nice time. Beautiful Sunset.. I was sitting down stairs at one of the booth tables. I thought the windows were extremely dirty. It was hard to see clearly outside. Also, I just thought the cruise was too short. It seemed like it was over very quickly. Other then that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice well maintained boat, took my wife out for the sunset cruise it was a great time. I booked the last 2 slots available for that evening I thought it would be more crowded, the boat is big enough to where it does not feel like it’s at ful capacity. The bar was not pricey and they had everything you would want on board. Overall great experience we will be back again at some point for whale watching.

Had a girls night out and had a great time. The only thing is we noticed the restroom didnt have paper and they could have played better music. But other than that we had a great time. Thank you to everyone that was on the boat providing all of us with service.

We visited Davies Locker earlier to get info. on where to park. We were told to park in the parking plaza on Palm St. and that our parking ticket would be validated. Upon returning to the parking plaza, we gave the validated ticket to the attendant and were told that they do not accept the validation. (Car parked less than 3 hrs.) We were charged $15 (cash only) with a rude reception. The cruise was nice and the crew was accommodating.

We reserved the sunset cruise this past Saturday evening and we LOVED it! The staff was great and the boarding (on and off) was very smooth. The other riders were all very friendly. We had an overall great time. If you plan to book this cruise I suggest you arrive early so you have enough time to park and check in.

Didnt want to go out in the rain, called before to move reservation to another day, the person was very rude and then proceeded to want to charge 5.00 per ticket to move to another day... Then even I told him forget it he said absolutely nothing and just hung up on me..... Wow!!!!?! Non existent customer service....these guys are losers... Dont do business with them!!!
