They have the worst and oldest boats and I do not recommend this place at all!
A group of us ordered Amazon Local vouchers for the 2-hour cocktail cruise to celebrate a birthday. We tried to contact Deo Juvante for over a month to coordinate scheduling of everyones vouchers so we could all take the cruise at the same time. They told everyone to call back in a week when the new schedule was up. When we did, they told us another two weeks. Then it was a month. Then they stopped answering the phone. Then their voicemail box was full. We never got to use our vouchers.Thankfully, Amazons customer service is excellent and they gave us a refund when I explained this. Im glad this company wont be getting a penny from us.
Got a groupon to go with my wife and it was a bad experience. All of my interaction with Deo Juvante screamed that they didnt care about providing quality service and only taking your money.When we arrived and were trying to find a space a man walked up and knocked on my window and said if were here for Deo Juvante the parking is full and to head next door and park... only to find out parking next door was paid parking. We walked over and asked about it they said their parking was not full and seemed to care not in the slightest someone is apparently poaching their customers and trying to charge them. When I went back around to try and park in the space it turns out parking was indeed full and was told parking is my responsibility. That is fine but dont tell me its not full and then give a lame excuse when it is.After buying a couple beers for my wife and I after going back and forth parking as I am entering the boat they are confiscating any alcohol upon boarding the ship. If you are going to sell alcohol to your customers off the boat some sort of notice or sign posted that we couldnt bring it on board would of been nice, again just showing they dont care about service and are trying to milk money off their customers.Once on board the ship we began moving and things seemed okay. The ship is not fancy or luxurious. There are white plastic chairs on tops and appetizers which look like microwaved frozen stuff, God help you if you paid full price for this. Then all of a sudden the ship starts to turn around. It seems we are dropping off a passenger, and the passenger being dropped off hearing why we are confused comes to us and explains the situation. She had received an advertisement that had said there would be a live DJ and a dance floor, which of course there was none. The manager or owner or whatever had said oh we didnt make that advertisement. This is where I lost any last bit of faith in Deo Juvante, if people are poaching your parking and putting out false advertisements you as a business owner need to step up and take some responsibility. To make matters worse when she disembarked the guy said loudly to everyone Ladies and Gentlemen this has never happened and as far as I am concerned she had a mental breakdown. No she didnt, she lad a legitimate complaint about false advertisement.They had a free drink ticket to which when we went up for some cheap beers were told it was extra even though on their drink list it showed they werent. When questioning what we could get with the drink ticket without paying extra they listed beers not even on their list.The rest of the cruise was uneventful and had the service been much much better I would say its worth the groupon as the views were quite nice, but as it stands with their utter lack of care for the customer I say skip on this one.
A male customer service representative for large charters just hung up on me for asking if there was parking. Rude is an understatement.
Friendly captain and crew. Put up with our group being more than a little zany.
They jsut cruise around in the harbor...they say dinner but the food they provide is just snacks...
