Rapid oil change, checked all fluids, blinkers and lights. The techs (worked as a team) communicated everything they did as well as prices for oil change options. They had a great attitude and seemed to really enjoy what they do. I noticed faces there that have been working there for some time. Those two things, combined with the lack of high pressure up sells makes me plan to return again soon with our other cars!

Sean M and the guys at Valvoline in Newburgh worked like a well-oiled machine. Courteous, professional and honest about what needs to be done. In-and-out was a pleasant surprise on a Monday morning. Highly recommended for your vehicles routine maintenance.

When I had my car I always came to this place. Fast service, friendly Staff. I had oil changes, A/C serviced, transmission fluid change, vehicle inspection. If they notice something on your car that needs to be checked or fixed that they do not do they let you know. Great customer service A+

Today, I had a wonderful experience while receiving my oil change on a Saturday. The gentleman who helped me was on point checking fluids and my AC. I did not know I had an issue with my AC. As well as a filter on the floor on the passenger side . He went and changed it showing me the filth. I spent a little more than expected but it was so worth it. I definitely will recommend to anyone to try this Valvoline in Newburgh. I observed teamwork among the staff and I love that. Truly thankful today to have my vehicle service properly. Funny I just went to my car dealer last month and they never even changed this filter but charged a grip.

I used to dread going to get my car serviced wherever I leased it, but now I go straight to Valvoline and its headache-free and so worth it.

I called in the morning to find out if a battery was in stock. Taylor was very helpful in locating the battery and spoke to me concerning other services. When I went in I had and oil change, battery replaced and an inspection. They were done fast and they were very customer service friendly. .

Went to Newburgh location. Manager informed me while I was waiting that he didnt have the proper filter for my car. Very thankful he let me know. He referred my to the new Windsor location.Rob, Kevin, John and Steve had me out in 10 minutes it that long. Great service will definitely use again. Competitive pricing. I have had excellent service at other Valvoline oil changes in the past... We were driving from New Jersey up to Lake George and didnt get a chance to get it done before we left... Found that there was a Valvoline right off the highway on the way to our destination... It was a good area to pull off as there were plenty of restaurants and services also very close to the highway as this location is... Service was excellent and very quick... no waiting... We were in and out in fast and the whole took us off the highway for only about 20 minutes... I downloaded a coupon in advance so I saved $25 on a synthetic oil change... Highly recommend !

Cant stand trying to be up-sold every time I go for an oil change

Was trying to get an inspection. There was no car in front of me. The tech asked me to pulled forward. After rolled down the window told them that I need an inspection not the oil change. They got upset and asked me if I had an appointment. So after this pandemic you asked me for an appointment for a simple inspection? Which really took 15 minute to issue a sticker. I drove across street to midas, simply walk in and wait about 20 minutes to get my car inspected. You just lost another customer Valvoline.

Quick and easy oil change

Much better than Mavis depending on services. This Valvoline did an active search for possible maintenance services outside of the initial oil change I went in for. They saw some things but gave me an option depending on the severity of the problem. I had them go ahead and change passenger side head light and rear light and lift gate window wiper simply for convenience.

They preformed proficiently and professionally. No fuss and no hassle, just as it should be.

Most convenient place to have all you under the hood needs taken care of. Staff is friendly and courteous. They explain all steps of the services they provide. No pressure to get more than what you came in for. Very quick getting in and out.

4/30...Polite, thorough, professional in what they do. Face it. Its a gritty job getting into all kinds of vehicle engine compartments. Oil changes, by nature, are a task most people have never done, and would not choose to. These guys greeted me, asked what I wanted done, and set about to do it. Computerized records indicated when I was there last, and what I had done. 15 minutes, final check, paid. Done. Painless.

Went to the Newburgh location as I have been doing for a couple years and never had an issue except THIS TIME on September 12, 2020 with an employee named VICKI who was rude and extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! Because of her I will make it known to not go there again.

First of all, make sure you go on your smartphone and look up Valvoline oil change coupon, you can save about $8 or $10 dollars.I like the way they now have customers pull their vehicles in. the customer just stays in the vehicle, you can use the restroom if you want to.The pressure to try and sell air filters and windshield wipers is still there, but not as bad as it used to be.ADVISE: just tell the attendant nicely can you please just change my oil and filter and check the fluids, dont touch my air filter or wipers my spouse does that.The staff was very nice, funny, friendly.Im only giving two stars because I think paying about $90 for synthetic oil change is insane.

Quick and easy, stayed in car, didnt try to sell me any repairs like most other vehicle inspectors. Took about 15 minutes. Most places take an hour!!

Convenient, but would not recommend if you ever want to do your own oil change. My drain plug and oil filter were both overtightened. Im sure it would have been no problem if I could stand under the car like they can, but the job was made unreasonabbly difficult for lying on the ground. If I go back there I will be speciffically asking that they do not over tighten the drain plug and they hand tighten the filter.

This is the only place I will go for my oil changes now. They are great at this location! They are always so friendly and helpful, as well as super quick!

He was efficient and personable. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot). I always go to Valvoline (Newburgh and Pleasantville locations) for my oil changes and always have a positive experience.

Weeks ago I stopped by this location for an oil top off before a long road trip out of state -- despite being busy & shorthanded, they were so friendly and offered to help me out without wait. Decided after that Id return there again for my regular oil changes. So glad to have done so! The entire staff was friendly & efficient and the manager, Jenn (?) went above and beyond. The entire process of oil change & light replacement was quick and painless and the entire staffs positive attitude made for a great experience.

What’s up with the, “we don’t do oil changes for mini coopers” line that greeted me when I got there at 6 pm with no one in any of the bays or any lines? I’ve had my oil changed at a valvoline before. Doesn’t seem right.

Staff is impeccable! So the 2 stars is not regarding the staff, its the pricing of Valvoline. Its pretty difficult Paying $150 for an oil change, and air filter when your so accustomed to pay $20 bucks for an oil change and maybe!! $80 with the works including air filter. Not to mention you can come by anytime in between your next appointment and get your fluids topped off.(foam&wash) sadly that place is no longer open :( so we gave this place a chance and I wont go back its just too pricey for me.

Just paid $113 for a full synthetic oil change....take your car to any real shop and its $70 at most. The female that i spoke with was very unprofessional and brushed off the concerns I had brought up to her

Used to be little counter help and you had to wait a while ever after your car was done. Seems theyre doing better now.They will suggest an air filter or wiper change if you need it. I would decline and then buy and install my own filter but that only save me a couple of bucks. So theyre not making much off that add-on service which leads me to believe theyre being honest about it.I would recommend this particular valvoline no problem.

I went here simply because I didnt have time to change it myself, as I have for years. Finally decided to let someone else do it, as after 30 years of doing it, Im tired of setting up the ramps and dealing with the mess. They check all the fluid levels, air pressure in your tires and your air filter. I think even your wiper blades. Some people get a little pissy about it, thinking theyre trying to rip you off... But I can tell you, the air filter they replaced for me in a big Ford van was 22$. Thats not some crazy high price. In fact, I believe I pay almost that much to buy one that I then have to install myself. Suffice to say, Im going to start bringing in my wifes car as well. If possible, go first thing in the morning during the week. Saturday there is a zoo.

Quick but insanely expensive...first time i ever paid $65.00 for an oil change. $17 more than Mavis, $24 more than the town mechanic. like is said, it was quick but never again, i dont mind waiting an hour or so for a savings of $17 or $24.

So yesterday I went to Valvoline to get an oil change. The person who came out and spoke to me stated it would probably be about 30 minutes which I was fine with. I ended up waiting about 50 minutes when finally it was my turn to go. The technician got a floor mat and some plastic for the seat and proceeded to a car that had gotten there after I did. So I was already pretty annoyed that I had been skipped in line and was just about to get out and say something when I saw the tech get in the customers car and immediately roll backwards into the car behind him.So as im sitting there waiting for the tech to get out and check for damage, he just drives the car right up to the shop and gets out and begins working on it, not saying anything. He was apparently hoping no one saw what he did. I went inside and told all of the people waiting, including the two individuals whose vehicles were damaged, what had happened. We walked back outside and I, along with another customer went to leave because I wasnt going to have incompetent workers giving me an oil change. By the time I drove away, and as the customers are looking at there cars for damage, the tech still isnt saying anything. Trying to pretend it never happened.I couldnt believe what I saw, and I cant recommend enough that people steer well clear of this place.

WTF is up with their pricing. $88 for an oil change on a 5 year old Chevy Spark. NEVER AGAIN. And they wait until they have started to tell you. Make you stay in the car, get started, then slam you with the inflated price. Had I known in advance, I would have driven away.
