I had a new cat-back exhaust installed in my pickup. I told the gentleman behind the counter what I was looking for and he made a recommendation with the muffler. I decided to go with his suggestion. I couldnt be any more satisfied with the installation. It came out professionally, and exactly how I anticipated it. In all, I now have a custom exhaust, installed correctly, at a reasonable price. If there was anything that couldve been improved on, I wouldve appreciated a phone call when the job was completed. The gentleman behind the counter did tell me that it was going to take about 3 hours, I just figured that I they wouldve called me when it was finished. Other than that, it was a first class job. They were very friendly and professional with their customer service and their craftsmanship.

We did not have our car fixed here but I wanted to write a review because of the above and beyond kindness of one employee. Our toddler got sick on the highway and we frantically pulled off looking for a place to clean him up and change him. An employee came out to check on us and when we explained the situation he quickly found us some plastic bags and brought us boxes of tissues from his own card. We weren’t even paying customers. I will absolutely bring my car here if I need it repaired. Thank you!

After the Blizzard a few days ago. My car was leaking fluid. I . Meineke had good reviews and I live close by so I decided to give it a try. The Manager called me told me that my car was 1000 miles due for oil change. I was surprised because my last oil change was 3 months ago and hardly dry any where. I agreed to the oil change but turns out I was scammed into. I checked my old receipt from my oil change turns out I only 12000 miles in 3 months. I was lied. There are scammers here. Its sad because they perpetrate the stereotypes mechanics are thieves. I advised if you go here please ask detail questions and be firm on your decisions. I dont recommend this place.

My entire family has been taking every car they owned here for 15+ years and NOT ONE bad experience yet. They will tell you what you need and what the best option is so you’re not getting screwed over. They have done pretty much everything for cars and if they couldn’t do something, they knew who to talk to and where to send us to get things done! The atmosphere is very humorous and the workers there don’t mind having a conversation and getting to know a little about their customer! I definitely recommend this place to EVERYONE

Im a driver for the Vietnam Veteran of America. We picked up donation for all of our Vets. The truck I drive, the exhaust slash shield broke off due to the heavy rain. I went inside to see if I could get help. I explained the situation. Told the gentleman that the shield was being held up by just one bolt and asked how much. He said its not just one bolt and to look at would be $150.00 I said wow but I was willing to pay. Then he said I had to wait until the rain stops. At this point the gentleman became very Negative and unhelpful . I then ask if I can borrow or rent the one socket I need to remove the shield so I can continue to pick up my donations. He said NO!!! I pleaded and respectfully ask to please help a fellow US Navy vet and he said, he was a vet also. But he didnt care. This person made reference to me as you people and called me boy At this point I understood that a fellow veteran was not going to help a fellow veteran with a simple fix on his truck. This experience will have a long lasting effect. I hope that this man goes home and reflects on how he treated a customer and a wounded vet. . With that said...... Thank you for your service Sir.

Came in just before closing... tire tore off my trailer on the thruway...manager was real nice, and Justin, who did the work never lost his cool when it was a real pain to these ancient tires off the rims. They all had a good attitude, even though it was right before closing on Memorial Day weekend! Give these guys your business! They deserve it!

I love bringing my cars here. I see the review left by Juan Machado and have to say he lied and embellished a lot just to give this place a bad name. He failed to mention they have three bays in this shop and that day only two mechanics. He also failed to say all three were full. Juan also failed to mention that it was raining so heavy the parking lot was one big puddle. He was offered to wait until one of the mechanics was done and they would see if they could help. Juan tried throwing the veteran card around and the reply he got was the guy behind the counter was also a vet. Juan also failed to mention that when he was given a price for having this shop fix his problem he refused to pay again saying he was a vet. I have been a customer at Meineke for years and always love the service and atmosphere here. I hate that these reviews people put up here are always so negative and one sided. He wanted something for free and was told no. Apparently telling someone no and expecting payment for services will give your business a negative review. I hope Google removes this mans review as it is full if lies! To the men in Meineke you keep up all the great work you do. You are by far the only shop in this area that gives the customer the truth and you tell customers whats needed and what can wait for later. You guys rock!

In a time when things are so uncertain and you run into a problem, its hard to know who to trust. I walked in and with concern and a smile- Chris remembered me and that I had been there before. Immediately I felt better! When I tell you this is the place to go when you just dont know whats wrong with your vehicle.A full look over took place and Im happy to report it really wasnt as horrible as I imagined. So trust me when I say this is the place to go. Communication was there was there every step of the way! They have no hidden agenda because they want you to feel comfortable enough to come back. Which I did!!!! 5 stars is just not enough for all they do here!!

Rolled into their yard as our truck died. It was a Saturday afternoon, there was a storm about to hit, and we were trying to get to Texas. Chris and Craig could not have been more helpful; they got us in, diagnosed it, and fixed it while we went for lunch. Super sketchy! I went in because I had a flat tire in the front due to a screw. I asked them for two new tires in the front and they put it in the back. Then when I bring it to their attention they told me just to keep an eye on it! The next day my tire was flat. The customer should always be right and dont debate it.

Its tough to find people who know what theyre doing, that are honest and that actually care. These are the guys. Had a difficult exhaust repair that involved some custom work and these guys were top notch. Not only that, they were extremely friendly! But this place is so honest and up front about any issues with your vehicle, and they give free estimates on the problem,.. that I had to write a review lol and this is my 1st review. Probably the best place Ive been to for fixing my SUV.

Quality work- fair price. I got a quote and repair the same day. I was pleased that repairs were completed quickly and before promised. My only comment was there is a place on line that claims to make appointments on a corporate level at your local shop. i made my appointment 5 days ahead of time and the corporate level never notified the shop. Luckily they were able to complete my repairs without much delay.

The entire staff at this Meineke was wonderful. I got an appointment fast, they got me in fast. They got me out quickly and since I think I had resolved the problem (sticky emergency brake cable) they could not find anything wrong and it was NO CHARGE! Thanks Guys!!

2006 Lexus needed exhaust repair and stopped by Meineke on my way home. Dan greeted me and quickly had my car in the bay to get an estimate. The price was very fair and I liked that Dan showed me where the work needed to be done and talked out my options with me. Dropped off my car during lunch two days later and they had the car done when they said it would be. Paid the same price as the estimate. A great shop, wish I had found them sooner.

Always brought my car to them since they are close to my job. One day they quoted me high, got a better offer close to where i live, so i took that. brought it back to them, they told me take it back to whoever i brought it to. Okay, thats what i did and never went back to them. If you going to get mad at me for trying to SAVE A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS then we dont need to do business.PS when they say they finished with your car but they have it on the lift looking it over, itll be another hour or so, then when you get there they tell you the hour look over was free. ITS NOT TRUE, They werent looking over anything for an hour.I called and asked how much longer, they gave me the on the lift, look over, will be done in an hour BS. A coworker and I passed by like 7 minutes after that on our way to a client. My car was parked outside and other cars were on the lift. they couldnt say anything they just held their head down the whole time.

These guys are great, they do great a great job and they tell you what you need when you bring the cars for repairs or check out your car. They always call you and let you know what needs to be done to your vehicle

If you are a female, don’t go!! They will take advantage of you. They told me I needed repairs that weren’t even necessary without even checking my car. Idiots! I will definitely be sure to tell everyone I know that this is not the place to visit if you want honest, fair PRICES and EQUALITY for single mothers or people who aren’t familiar with automotives. Called up asking about a muffler swap. They said come right over. Got there and they had my car inside within 10 minutes. Look at it and told me my options/price. I gave the go ahead and walked over to dennys for a quick lunch and my car was finished soon after. Sound was better than expected and the atmosphere of hanging at this shop was one of a kind. 100% worth driving a hour to see them.

I went to Newburgh today to get a quick oil change; I have a pretty beat us skid plate under my jeep and didnt realize that some in-and-out oil change establishments wouldnt be able to take it off. After my first try failed and reading some reviews I drove into Meineke.They had my car in the shop within 10 minutes of pulling up. Kris, their lead technician was phenomenally kind and extremely professional. After raising up the vehicle, he walked me through and educated me on all of the aftermarket equipment on my jeep (recently bought it used). After they finished the oil change, the T-bar it protected was so bent that the skid plate couldnt be put back on. Kris personally torched an extension on the skid plate to allow it to be reattached, no charge whatsoever.Staff was awesome, personal, and fast. Made a loyal customer out of me in one visit.

I brought in my car for an exhaust problem, the pipes came apart at the coupling. Was quoted for 150$ and told it needed to be welded and “it wouldn’t work but he could do the job” then continued to tell me I needed a whole new exaust system because it was “rotted.” The only thing I needed was a band clamp. I’m a 17 year old kid so I don’t know if they were trying to take advantage of me but I fixed it myself for 13$ and an hour of my time.

Brought my car in for a flat tire. They told me my engine manifold (top and bottom) was bad, car had 100,000 miles on it so I said okay it very well may be (even though I had no symptoms of this) after leaving and paying $2000, my check engine light was still on. They also informed me they hadn’t changed the oil, which they should have done if they changed the entire engine manifold? and made me very suspicious. Following this I brought it back to be serviced 3x, at first it was just they forgot to turn the check engine light off, then it was the mass air censor $300, then it was a pigtail $50, now my check engine light is on again for the EGR valve... all things associated with my engine manifold. My guess is they misdiagnosed my first problem and it was just the EGR valve and have charged me $3000 to fix it (when it should’ve been $300), and still haven’t fixed it!! and have the nerve to make me wait 2 hours and charge me $50 for a pigtail?!? or they don’t have enough business so they break something different every time you bring you car in so you have to keep coming back, either way, don’t go here! I am filing a formal complaint!

I believe that I was taken advantage at this location. I brought my car in for a New York State inspection and walked out with a brand new rack and pinion? $1500, Didn’t know that was part of the inspection. Will never be back.

Had dropped my miata off due to the fact that the mounts for the power steering rack separated from the sub frame. I thought I would have had to do an entire sub frame swap. A few hours afters dropping off my car, I got a call from dan explaining what would be done to the miata, which was to build a skid plate and weld the rack back on. A couple of days later, the miata steers like a race car, quick and precise and also have a skid plate for extra protection on such a low car. I am extremely satisfied with the price and work. You have a customer for life.
