I recently moved to the area and was happy to find a local family owned repair shop. The John and Debra are extremely friendly and accomodating. They are open early which made for a convenient drop off before having to go to work. They completed the repair to my satisfaction and proactively reached out to me to let me know when it was complete. These guys are great!! My engine blew and they put in a new one. They communicated well, explained all the charges and really made me feel comfortable doing such a huge job! I recently went to a Retail chain for an inspection and was told Id have to pay close to $1,000 for repairs so the vehicle would pass. I brought it to Johnny Roccos and it turned out it only needed a thermostat. They saved me over $600! These guys are great!!

Johnny Rocco’s is my go to for all about repairs! They replaced the engine in my wife’s 2004 Subaru WRX, it came out great still runs well 10,000 miles later! John and his guys are very professional and know their stuff. Honest pricing for all reapirs and worked well within my timeframe!

Wonderful service with fair prices. They re-did my exhaust system and muffler in no time. Will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and will go back next time my car acts up. Also the staff was extremely friendly and caring. They went above and behind to tell us there was a rebate on the exhaust days after the job was done which they did not need to do. I really appreciated that.

I am all the way in Dallas and intended on buying a car that was there in NY. This seemed to be a good place to have my car inspected for troublesome issues. After the inspection was done they gave the car a stamp of approval and I purchased it. I now have the car and it is in great condition. This car is also a manual so inspection of the gearing was very important. All is well in the land and they did a GREAT job of inspecting the car I now love.

I would highly recommend this shop.My vehicle had been towed to a different mechanic where it sat for days without being repaired or even looked at. After finally receiving an exorbitant quote long after it was brought in, I took a chance and called Johnny Roccos based on their good reviews. I was given a much more reasonable quote over the phone so I had my car towed here and the work was done the same day.Overall I was impressed by the speed and professionalism of the staff, and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs work done on their car in the Newburgh area.

Excellent diagnostic work of a challenging electrical problem on an older vehicle; kept labor costs very reasonable for this type of work. Johnny and Debra communicate very well with their customers; during the process Johnny called several times to update me on what they were finding. The overall repair price for parts and labor was good.

Bought in some control arm bushings that came to me un-pressed and he put them on my car for free, albeit it was a quick job

Pulled in to have my timing belt set properly as it was off by a tooth so it ran pretty bad. Had the car fixed in a short time, and not only that, but I also had my oil and filter changed and an inspection performed while it was over there. Saved me a great deal of time. Had them work on multiple of my vehicles and always came out swell. Definitely recommend these guys.

Great shop took my car there to get my clutch fixed they did a great job and the mechanic even gave me some tips. as a new manual driver that was awesome would definitly go there again

Fantastic experience! Johnny and Deborah were very welcoming. Johnny completed a full synthetic oil change and diagnostic on my 2007 Prius, providing me with a wealth of information that I otherwise would have missed (showing me under the hood). Deborah was kind and offered me a free cup of coffee while I waited for the service. They even noticed that I was military and offered my a discount up front. Overall, an ideal experience for visiting a mechanic -honest, time efficient, competitive prices, etc. Highly recommend!!!

This shop is by far the best repair shop Ive been too! Great customer service, honest, reliable and fair prices. I am so happy I found Johnny Roccos and I plan on having John and Mike service all my vehicles from now on.

We were looking at a used car and brought it in to have it looked at. Deborah and Johnny talked to us afterwards about what he found, and was patient as I asked a lot of questions (this being our first used car, we were nervous). I then called back again to ask a follow up question, and the mechanic who talked to me (not Johnny) was really friendly and understanding. Overall, we had a great experience with these folks and recommend them highly. I never felt like they were trying to tell me what I wanted to hear, or that they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need. They’re good people.

The owner and his wife are very kind. They went out of there way to help by grandmother and also made several calls to try and find the right rims for me when I was in a bad rut and didnt have much money. He even gave my grandmother a ride so she wouldnt have to sit in the heat. Fantastic team over there. 10/10 would recommend.

Johnnys has serviced my last 2 Hondas, trying lower cost repairs first when it was possible and explaining each repair thoroughly enough for a non-car guy to get. I recommended Johnnys to a car-guy friend, who switched from his old mechanic to Johnnys. Loyal customer.

Its hard to find mechanics who have unquestionable trustworthiness; these guys are without a doubt one of them. Very professional people when it came to fixing my dads 2005 Nissan Pathfinder LE when its transmission failed, as well as my 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ when it came to ripping out its failing clutch slave cylinder. This shop does everything in a timely manner and treats customers with the utmost respect possible. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone, no matter how big or small your cars problem(s) is.

One of the best mechanics ive ever been to. Had a very strange check engine light issue w my honda that John got to the bottom of. I felt like I was treated like family.

Phew! Dodged a bullet! Almost bought a second-hand car from a dealership up the road, and Johnny looked at it and within a few minutes called me over to advise against it. He brought me under the lift and showed me tell-tale signs of it having been under water and in a fender bender. Some of this was obvious but some of it wasnt. He said he sees it a lot and has a running list of sellers hes wary of. I was struck with his honesty and thoroughness, and while I was very disappointed about the car (we had driven two hours to look at it, and it seemed oh-so-promising), I couldnt be more satisfied with Johnny. Further, he and his wife were total pros in setting up the appointment and accommodating me on what was a very full day for them. I have a very good mechanic where I am, but if I were in Ulster County, I wouldnt hesitate to make Johnny my go-to!

Good place to get your car checked and fixed. Specifically for Honda and Acura

Timely and reasonably priced service. We own an Odyssey and an Accord. We used to take them to a shop in fishkill or Morehead in Newburgh. Johnny Roccos has friendlier service at better prices. Wont be going anywhere else again!
