My husband and I always bring our cars to Hobens. The proprietor, George Hoben, was highly recommended to me by a neighbor when I first moved back to Newburgh 11 years ago, and I was never sorry I took his advice! George and his son know what theyre doing and never try to sell you services you dont need. Last week I stopped at an out-of-town Honda dealer because my key had suddenly stopped operating my drivers-side door. The dealer said i needed a new tumbler and would need to make an appointment, 3 days in advance, for the $147 job. Luckily on my way home I stopped at Hobens and asked George to take a look at the same lock. He sprayed it with WD-40 and 5 seconds later it worked fine. When I asked what I owed him he just laughed and said, No charge!For a great mechanic right in the City of Newburgh, look no farther than Hobens. Hes at 569-0704 and hell be glad to help you out.
