I took my mom to this spa for the first time. They recommended to do a microdermabrasion facial for her skin tone. Her skin was bruised and she got black marks on her face. I took her to them and they put ointment on her skin and told us that it will go away within a week. It didn’t go away and she has scars on her face. I do not recommend their service. Also, they charged us $495 for another client of theirs by mistake and told us that they will reverse it. It has been a month nothing happened. I called them many times and left voicemails, no response. They don’t even take my calls any more. We’ve been charged over $600 for no reasons. Horrible experience overall. Customer service plus bad facial that leaves marks on face. We are planning to take action so their licenses get suspended. Please aware and don’t go to this place and get robbed. I feel so sorry for my mom.

California Skin Care & Day Spa was an amazing experience that I recommend any female in the CA area. There are 7 different rooms, offering everything from steam saunas, a clay bed, an ice room, oxygen rest area and much more. The price is unbeatable and the employees are friendly, hospitable and welcoming. You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

I absolutely love CA day spa! These guys are amazing! I bought a prenatal massage package and felt pampered. Marie has magic hands! She helped get all the knots and kinks out. My body feels like melted butter walking out of here :) I continue going here after my babys birth and highly recommend it.

I don’t recommend this place. They are very good salesmen, but in my experience the service they sell is underwhelming. They charge the same prices as more inclusive spas, for example, Burke Williams or even Massage Envy, with less impressive massages.The below is my experience and only mine. Perhaps others experienced something better.At first they seem very friendly and enthusiastic about their services. But at the hint of unhappiness, they did not seem interested in retaining me as a customer.I had a very weird massage. The massage took place in a room most likely used for facials. So it was less than relaxing — strange machines around the room. The massage itself was fine. Was it worth $100? No. The lady seemed somewhat experienced but certainly not as experienced as professional services. She lathered my entire body in oils but never bothered to wipe it off. They also failed to tell me the massage was over. So I ended up waiting for her to come back for about 10 minutes before I realized it was done.My major gripe, however, is not the kind of strange environment or behavior but instead the reaction of the front salesperson or the masseuse, but their reaction to my confusion. When I went to pay I explained that no one told me it was over and that I was still completely lathered in oil. The masseuse questioned whether I was even oily. Really? I think I would know whether I was oily (and frankly she should know because she used it on me). But that’s not even the point — I’m spending $100, the least you can do is just be apologetic for what was clearly an oversight. Anyway, after that their moods changed and basically wanted me to pay and leave.The point is — I don’t plan to go back. I can get better service for that amount of money at many better locations. But that’s not why I won’t return. It’s because of the customer service. I truly hope they treat others better than they treated me.

Amazing! My girlfriend and I went for a couples massage. The massage was so good. My muscles feel great and my body has never felt better. Super friendly staff with a very relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend that you give this place a try!

I treated my mom for a California facial for her birthday today. It was both of our first time at this spa. And OMG..... it was absolutely amazing! We felt so rejuvenated after our 90 minute session and we are definitely returning.

She massage and the therapist is good, but there has construction work in the front, so I parked my card on the back side, there were plenty of parking lots.

She is meticulous on hair removal, and makes you comfortable in an uncomfortable situation . I have been going to Elena at California Skin Care and Spa for past 15years, there is no need to go anyone else.

I really enjoyed the last facial I got from this spa. It was extremely relaxing and I loved it. I forgot the name of the person who gave it but she really deserves all the kudos that she can get for expertise!

I came here with a melasma problem on my face. I tried lasers and creams and nothing worked. I spent thousands of dollars on different treatments that did nothing. I drove to San Ramon for months to see a special top dermatologists that treated melasma. My face was in worse shape than when I started. So I decided to try this day spa in Newark, right down the street from my house. Elena recommended the herbal peel, the peel lasted about 4 days total. The results were AMAZING!!!! I felt so good about myself. I wanted to thank California Day Spa for giving me the confidence I needed.

Elena is the owner of this Spa and I have been going there for quite a long time. She recommended me some products such as Image with SPF 50 moisturizer, EGF and I used these products for my skin repair as well as the moisturizer. I love these products because I could feel my skin tightens and the EGF was very soothing to my skin and hydrates my skin deeper than I expected. All the products I have bought from her and I am still using them give me 150% satisfaction. I would highly recommend to all these products and you wont regret using them.
