I love going to Holiday Hair to get my hair done, Cheyenne is absolutely amazing !! Ive been going there and seeing her the last two appointments Ive made and she absolutely does NOT disappoint. Shes very professional and shes very attentive to exactly what Im trying to achieve with my hair goals. I will always back there to get my hair my done and I will always keep Cheyenne as my hair stylist. She really knows her cuts, style and color and I was super pleased with my new highlights.

Just had my hair done this morning. Must say, not a happy customer! The only thing I really like is the color! Cheyenne was very friendly & SEEMED like she knew what she was doing. The cut, though, appears very amateuristic. It felt like a rush job, even though I was there for over 2hrs (normal for hair color). I got home, only to discover she had not rinsed all the color out at the back of my head/neck!! Still sticky!Definitely not worth the price I paid!!!

So about 2 weeks ago i went to holiday hair in newark to get my hair done last minute & my regular stylist was booked up so i went to holiday. i sat in the chair with dye for 48 minutes to process. did have a lot of roots grown out so i think that’s why it sat longer, but the girl told me 30-35 minutes and i used my phone timer just in case to help me remember. my scalp was slightly red, but i thought it was just from her using brushes/etc to get the dye in. the next day my scalp hurt & became itchy, & looked somewhat irritated. i have so much dry skin coming up from itching the hell out of my scalp. what do i do?! my head wasn’t itchy like this until i got my hair done 😢

Just took myself and my daughter for a cut. Unfortunately i dont remember the ladies names, however they both did exactly what we asked for. Having a preteen who wants/needs a spunky hair cut, the lady definitely delivered that!! As for us both, we are both very satisfied with our services. Definitely recommend!!

I have had my hair cut totally the opposite way I told them I wanted it cut another words I have had my hair wacked but Cheyenne took her time with me and cut it a little at a time until I was satisfied. Chelsea Pash is absolutely amazing. She’s very knowledgeable about minority hair textures and she has never once turned me down for a lightning process thinking my hair was fried when it’s actually just my natural hair texture. It’s something a lot of us struggle with when we try to receive salon services unfortunately.

I have been going here for several years. The last two times service has gone down hill. I had made an appointment a month in advanced when I arrived it was not on her schedule. She fit me in but cut my hair really fast. I did not get the same service I normally did. Last week when I had my haircut and styled I was charged a $10 charge for length. I have short hair. I have never been charged this fee before.

The hairdressers in this salon are always friendly, having fun with their customers and each other, and yet give professional care to each patron. My stylist is especially friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and remembers me each time I am there. The hair care products available for purchase are affordable and help me care for my hair at home.

I had my hair done at Holiday Hair a total of three times. My stylist, Molly, has fixed me up right every time and is even patient with every bad hair choice I’ve made in the past and transforms my hair to exactly what I want. She is kind and keeps a good conversation throughout the hair process along with the lovely ladies there which makes it a homey experience. ❤️ 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone !

Great haircut as usual. But, I was charged a service fee on my tip using my debit card. I was NOT notified that there would be any extra fee of any kind. The customer needs to be notified!

My stylist was Chelsea, she was very knowledgeable, and also asked me what i wanted, showed me options on colors for my hair. She also asked if i needed eyebrows waxed, because I had this service done before. Told me what she was doing step by step and was SUPER friendly and funny. Will definitely come back!!

I went to this location for the first time after getting a terrible hair trim from a different salon and stylist Molly fixed my hair! Helping regain my trust with letting anyone trim my hair. I came in and the girl with green or purple hair (I can’t remember) told me someone would sign me in shortly. There were 3 stylists working. Someone came in after me and we’re told it would be 10-15 minutes. So I asked how much longer it would be until I could sign in. The blonde girl said she could sign me in and it would be another 20 minutes. I had already been waiting 20 minutes just to sign in. I decided I’m not waiting 40 minutes total just for an eyebrow wax; especially when the person that came in after me was told a shorter time. I left and went to the one in Heath. I got right in and out, no incompetence at all. I don’t plan on going back to the Newark location. You guys need to get yourselves together. Thanks for wasting 20 minutes of my time for nothing.

They have upgraded the whole salon and new employees which are amazing and the older ones were amazong as well. They have a great crew that work great together. I loved my hair style I got. It was just trimmed and angled with layers but ive had some horrible experiences with just getting my hair trimmed for it to grow longer. The girl I had used fest products as well. Theyre kind of pricey though. It is 15$ just to get your brows waxed when I used to pay 8$-9$ for brow waxing.

Staff is super caring and precise with everything. I would recommend Molly I trust her with doing my hair especially color.

Went in to get a shadow root done and she, Ebby, did not use foils. She used way too much hair color on my regrowth. it dripped all over the blonde middle hair and ends. there were spots of brown hair color that stained the blond. not once did she apologize. then she had to use bleach on my blond hair that was already damaged to remove the brown hair color she accidentally dripped all over and damaged my hair further and still charged me $85 for my roots and a hairstyle that she didnt even do. she barely got my hair dry. I still have brown hair color spots on my blond ends it looks horrible.she used way too much hair color on the top, way too much. she was just supposed to do my roots. she did about four inches of brown on the roots. Instead of getting a shadow root that is blended, I got harsh lines and no blending. it just looks horrible. I just wanted to warn everybody not to get your hair color done by Ebby. She never once apologized. she charged full price still. I was in there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. thats four hours just to get my roots done. the manager was there, however, she tried not to look at me so she wouldnt have to talk to me. ridiculous

Ok I wasnt going to do this but the more I look at my hair the madder I get! Came in last week wanted to get my hair(trimmed) up and shaped up to grow out from a previous really bad haircut from some where else. First of all everyone in there was very friendly and thankful for their tips they received from their clients. And everyone I saw that got their hair done came out looking great except me!! Of course it had to be me! My girl was not friendly and did not listen to what I said. I stated that I was trying to grow out my hair, wanted my sides longer and stacked up in the back! Ok what part of that says chop the hell out if it so I cant do anything with it?? I ask her to style it bc it was so short and flat to my head and all she did was put paste in it. I cant even believe I paid for it let alone give her a tip which I never got a thank you for!! I read reviews bf I went and one girl didnt have very good reviews and guess who got her?? And I didnt know her name until I ask then it was too late!! Thanks Ebby for giving me the worst haircut I have ever had in my life! I am so embarrassed to go anywhere bc it is hideous!!!! You just ruined any chances of me ever coming back and hoping to get a different girl!! Not sure where you got your license but you need a refresher course!! Not a happy client!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Staff was quick and friendly. I got a sidecut and loved it but decided it needed to be moved up a bit to allow for a more natural side part. Went back 3 days later for a free fix and it was a mess this time. Didnt notice until later but there were tons of baby hairs and even long hairs that were completely missed all along the cut that made it look just botched and messy.

Met my fiance here so thats pretty cool
