This is my favorite barber. I have never had a bad cut. Most of the chain places will be hit or miss until you find the one or two people who rock. Not here!The staff here is always friendly and professional. Their cuts are always sharp and well done.For the best experience, call and set an appointment beforehand. Once youve gotten your cut, ask your stylist for his card. Each guy there has his own card and, assuming you love your cut, getting his card will help you schedule your next appointment directly with him.Check these guys out- you wont be disappointed.

I came in this morning to find out their pricing. I asked how much to shape-up my beard? Their response you cant get an appointment today. My first thought was, did they even hear my question? I ask differently I just want to know how much it would cost to so my beard. Their response...uh uh its 35 for an appointment. Other guy says: no he asked about a beard. Barber: oh $25 for the beard. My conclusion this place is not worth it. I only came in because my barber was closed and this place was not even worth 5 minutes of my time. #FirstImpressions

Nothing exclusive about this place.its either uneven or not straight I would stay away..just a bunch of men standing around to see who they gonna mess up with there knifes.. they dont follower instruction At all 🏃 🏃..there are better out there

Shop is nice and clean. All the barbers are very professional and welcoming. Appointment was right on time and my haircut was quick and I was very pleased with the results. Definitely recommend this shop.

He is super friendly and very professional which makes you feel comfortable when you come to the shop. The staff are friendly as well. The owner (Javier) is always making sure his staff are polite and respectful to any customer that arrives whether is an old or new client. Also, the shop is always clean which is very important! The owner is very classy and professional, I was so impressed. After moving from LA to Delaware, I had almost lost all hope for any professionalisms in this state. I took my son to get his hair cut unfortunately, due to some miscommunication, the barber I scheduled with was not there. I love how they cut my son’s hair so I decided to go back the next day. I almost didn’t. All the barbers there are respectful and considerate, as a women getting my son’s haircut I appreciate that. Midway through my son’s haircut, the owner came over and apologized for what happened the day before and let me know the haircut would be on the house. So classy, something you don’t see too often. Hands down the best shop around, great cuts and great customer service!

I still have a grudge (which I want to let go of) against this place. I came here in 2014 summer and this place was pretty new. I was a kid that wanted a summer cut and a longer top with 3 sides and I guess the guy was too busy listening to the World Cup and he just used a 1 blade all over my hair. I couldn’t even comb a single hair, even with gel. Thankfully, it wasn’t during school so I didn’t get roasted. I hope this place has improved and now I have let my grudge go.

When I first moved to Newark, DE I was looking for a barber shop and Exclusive Kuts was right around the corner from my house. I stepped in and Javier greeted me, whats up, I said I just moved here from NJ and looking for a barber. J said I can hook you up. So I took the chance and let him cut my hair and he explained every thing to me while he was cutting my hair. This barber shop is not KID FRIENDLY! I just moved into this area 2 months ago & I called to ask if they take walk ins & discussed my kid age the guy sound convincing and was like come on in. I asked multiple barbers could they cut my son hair they all claimed they were booked but I just spoke to someone so I asked one guy and told him the deal like I just talked to a guy over the phone he took me but I waited about 3 hrs and my kid was starting to get very impatient he’s 3 they guy who shaped him up was purposely trying to take long so I could just leave. The second time I came I asked again some other ppl because the guy didn’t give me his information and charged me $20 for my son *SHAPE UP. They all said no even some didn’t try to make eye contact so I left and had to travel somewhere else and it made me upset you know he’s a little boy and he’s MY KID😡 and he’s not bad in the chair but I’m guessing they don’t like new ppl or kids.

As mention in other comments Javier greet me and was kind to have one of the boys, another Javier to take care of me. Javier did a good job with just asking what i wanted. I was pleased with the hair cut and bear trimm. Definetly my new barber shop.

When you’re a professional in your craft and you mess up not once, not twice but three times and your customer gives you a chance to fix your mistakes, you don’t puff up your chest and make excuses, you own up to your mistake, apologize & try to fix it. A cocky “professional” is a terrible business person, especially a barber. It’s a shame one bad experience can make a barbershop lose 3 customers & get a bad review. My people support me and prefer to go where they know everyone is appreciated and respected. So happy to know losing 4 cuts a month for one person and 4 cuts every other month from 2 other people is “no big deal”. I’ve never heard of any barber complaining someone comes in every 7 days to get a fresh cut and a says he ‘can’t do it without pushing the hairline back’ because he’s afraid “it’ll look like he didn’t even do anything”, sound like a skills problem to me. This has been my routine my whole life & now it’s a problem... lol. Enjoy the loss of $200 income, I’ll take all of my business to a barber who doesn’t brag he knows what he’s doing but shows he knows what he’s doing. I will say the owner is very friendly, so its a shame his worker Lorenzo got them a bad rating. Learn to respect your customers who treat you well/pay you and when you mess up, just humble yourself, don’t make excuses and do whatevers reasonably necessary to keep their business.

I get there at 530pm to cut my sons hair and doors are locked and music blasting. Website and and signs on door says they are open til 7. Guys comes out and says they are not taking anyone else and to come back at 9am. Yea Im never going there again.

Definately the best barbershop in delaware. I had a hard time finding a good barbershop when I first moved down to delaware from philly. I am very picky on who cuts my hair and my sons hair. It was sad to leave my barber in philly and start searching for somewhere new when I moved. A friend from work reccomended i go to Exclusive Kuts and go to Javier. When I walked in I was greeted by the man himself and I asked who was Javier the first thing he told me was which one lol. I said the owner he stated he was the one. I said I need to get a hair cut from you i heard good things about here. I tried nearly most of the barbers there to catch a feel on which barber i can stick with. I must say that it is hard to choose cause they all cut great. Javier the owner himself and a guy name Alejandro are my main two guys I go to. But if either one are not there im not afraid to get my haircut with any of the other guys in there. Love the atmosphere and a bunch of great barbers that know what they are doing.

I went to get a haircut at 6 o clock. Advertising says the shop closes at 7, however doors were locked. False advertising, please switch shop hours if you are going to be locking the doors at 6.
