I have come here twice now and gotten a cut from Alfredo each time. Gotta say - probably the best haircut Ive ever gotten - and at a reasonable price. Sad to hear theyre moving locations soon, but while they were here the atmosphere was lively and service was great!

Drove 1 hour to Shave Artistry and I’m glad that I did! Clean and great environment, fun and respectful staff, and the barber was ready for my son’s appointment. We’ll be back!

Ive known the owner (Javier) since I was in high school. He used to cut my hair back at my hometown and when he moved I never hesitate to drive to his spot. To be honest, I dont know why their are so many negative reviews, Ive gotten haircuts from Javier and most of the other staff from older to younger and they always made sure I came out fresh and made it worth every penny.

The cuts are good. The price is good. The hours of operation are more a suggestion. Thats an hour of my life Ill never get back. A little more professionalism next time gents.

Didnt get the barber that was recommended to me from Cuts Creative when I got a shampoo there. But the place is dope... hairline was a bit off... but since I just moved here im looking for a better barber there... or at least a better shop.

Ive been going to this same place b4 the new ownership. I decided to test them out to see what they was about. I was impressed. So far I like it the atmosphere, the space look spectacular so much more room than it was in the past. All the barbers are all onpoint as far as I seen especially the Dominican Kat that hooked me up today. I travel that extra distance to go to that barbershop and it a barbershop thats just 5 minutes walking distance from me. I choose Shave Artistry!

Josh always blesses my cut with his skills. Hes done all sorts of cuts on me and I know he knows how to cut long, medium, and short hair any style you want if youre willing to work with him.

I love this place since new ownership took over in September 2015. Javier the owner and master barber is a top notch gentlemen. Its not always easy for me to feel comfortable going to new bbarbeshops as a woman, but Javier made me feel right at home. All of his barbers are professional and friendly as well. The place is beautiful, and they are all about customer satisfaction. Since I started going back in January, I havent stopped since.

One of the best barber shops I have ever been to walked in to this with a messed up hairline from another shop and the owner he noticed that and fixed it for me the guys in this shop are hair doctors never seen any other shop with the experience these guys have they are the best in Newark period.

Overall Id say this place was okay, but I certainly wouldnt come here again.Pros: clean, well-lit, good location, open lateCons: wayyyy overpriced (theres a million places to get a haircut in Newark and this place charges too much), and the staff were all high as a kite from the moment I sat down to the moment he finished (about an hour and a half later-no joke). I dont mind the green at all, but if youre taking blades to my head youd better be sober as a PRIEST.

Got my fresh cut by Jay!!! Another Barber messed my beard up from a different Barber shop. Went to Jay and he REVIVED ME!!! Praise God for that young man ! Now my wife lovin me even foresee. Blessingss

One gentleman was playing video games on a wall mounted television. The other was attending to a customer. Sat down and after fifteen minutes the man playing video games says he was ready to take me. I walked out. Unprofessional.

I’m literally looking at the sign in the door that says they’re open till 9pm and they’re saying ‘sorry we’re closed’ and it’s not yet 8pm even.

The experience was very bad. the barber didnt listen to me what hair style i wanted to get, he did a hairstyle on his own, the moment i noticed it was very different from what i wanted, he started making excuses he wants to go home he is getting late, please dont try this place it s a bunch of people with no experience in hair cutting.the place is a waste of money for hair cutting. the next day i had to go to another hair cutting salon.

Haircuts here take 1.5 hours. barbers talk and walk away from you in the chair multiple times throughout the cut. might not be all of them that are guilty of this but certainly most of them. did not get the haircut i had asked for and i didnt ask for anything special at all. just go anywhere else lol

This is the only barbershop I have been to where the barbers talk more than they cut, while in the process of cutting a clients hair. Poor customer service and the haircut that you get isnt what you pictured. On top of that the gentlemen that was cutting my hair said Damn, Sorry bout that atleast twice. Avoid this place.
