Charles (seemed to be) in charge!Get to know him. Be specific about telling him what you want and you will be satisfied with what you get. I was completely satisfied with my haircut and with the way I was treatedHes first chair (furthest from the entrance) and (Im assuming from his demeanor and the way that the younger ones defer to him) the master barber in the shop. I can speak only about Charles work because he is the one who cut my hair and my wifes BTW. She was just as happy with her cut. And shes even pickier than I am.I had serious enough reservations about the three other shops Id visited in the Newark, DE area (we just relocated here from central Jersey, where my barbering needs were superbly and consistently met and my senior status was acknowledged by a commensurate discount) to postpone my haircut far beyond the normal interval (3 weeks, since I retired).The attitude in the other DE shops ranged from indifference to indignation. Charles, on the other hand, was polite, professionally skilled, attentive and (most important to me at first impression) respectful.Without reservation, I enthusiastically recommend him.jimmythesafe

Took my sons to get a haircut as a walk -in no acknowledgement that we were there nor did they tell me if there was going to be a wait time. The one barber that was there just kept cutting away while we sat for atleast 30 minutes. There was more conversation between him and his customer and a friend that decided to stop buying saying N this and N that... I know barbershops have there environment but the professionalism was not there. I ended up walking right out with my sons. The lost my business. I would not recommend this barbershop.

My barber Joshua keeps hours here on Thursdays-Mondays 7pm-11pm. Great conversation and cuts!!
