I am a new home owner - just moved 1 day ago, and boom my toilet is backing up into my shower. Called RR and they were here within an hour. The receptionist was very kind, and patient.The technician was very friendly, and informative. He was upfront with the pricing in the beginning and when he thought he was going to need to do something else. He worked hard and was baffled by the clog because when he thought it was fixed he wasnt satisfied with the flow. He pushed and didnt give up and was able to fix the issue based off original quote.He was very informative and answered several questions. He did advise that my pipes have a dip and if this continues to happen I may want to consider replacing the pipes!Needless to say I hope and pray that this will be a one-time occurrence!

My servicemen Walter was courteous, punctual, made sure to be clean when entering my home and not making any mess. Above all he was knowledgeable and took the time to address the issue without walking away after one try. I am so grateful for Walter, and you should be too.

I highly recommend Danny and Roto Rooter in Manhattan. He came to fix a running toilet on a holiday weekend and was super helpful. Luckily he had the necessary replacement parts on hand because hardware stores were closed for the holiday. Danny was patient during the many obstacles of what should have been a less complicated job- the water shutoff at the fixture was stuck so we had to find a ladder with no super in the building and check a bunch of access panels for the water main shutoff. Danny was a pro the whole time and fixed the problem!

The technician Albert was a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly. I will definitely request him for all my future plumbing issues.

The plumber who was supposed to come between 330 and 530 was quite late.He was very polite very knowledgeable and did the job quickly. What I find fault in is the fact that one bathroom clogged sink cost $408 and change. I find that an exorbitant price to pay for clearing a drain

Had a flood in my basement on Saturday night into Sunday morning. Called them at 6.45 AM and they had someone here by 8 AM. Helped find a critical problem that needed to be fixed ASAP and scheduled a team to do that for us within just 2 weeks. Great customer service and friendly people.

We had marvelous service. We had a flood and we called Roto Rooter and Mr. Richard Alexander came that same night. He assessed the situation and helped us work with our insurance company. The crew did a great job with demolishing and packing our damaged stuff and Richard was in contact with us throughout the whole ordeal. Mr. Alexander came back to see how things were going while the men were here, and he stayed in contact with the insurance adjuster and examiner until the assessment process was done. What he did includes taking photographs and doing drawings of the affected areas. He was a real pleasure to work with. We felt confident in his and Roto Rooter’s abilities to service us and he and the company lived up to their words. The men packed and discarded the destroyed stuff and we didn’t have do the work. In closing, Richard worked with us from the beginning until the insurance company settled the claim. His service was remarkable and we were glad to work with him during such a stressful time.

The Roto Rooter representative/plumber that arrive was Alex. Firstly, he was wearing PPEs, so was I. He came in to evaluate my plumbing issues, explained it to me in a comprehensive manner, including the repair course of action and its cost. Throughout the process he was diligent in his efforts to service the job, even though there were some difficult moments. However, always showed the problems causing my plumbing issues, explained the repair process and was extremely professional, we even had a few laughs. Should I ever have service or repair in the future I asking for Alex.

From day 1 the staff has been responsive to the needs of our unfortunate occurrence. We have had a terrible overFlow of water and damage in our home and I can not be thankful for the service they have provided. The follow up of how the progress of the clean up has been great. When we needed questions answered we were immediately contacted. One gentlemen went so far as to show up at our home to check and see if things were ok emotional because of the anxiety we were experiencing while the clean up was completed to a point. We don’t wish this upon anyone but some of the employees have gone beyond what others would have done.

I had a clogged drain that was causing wastewater backup in my basement. Luis came out that same evening and spent a couple hours snaking the drain from multiple places. It wasn’t straightforward and easy to clear the clog, but he was patient and stuck with it until we finally cleared the clog around 1am. There are cheaper services out there, but they did not pick up the phone on a Sunday night, or they would not send someone out until the morning. Luis helped me get our drain working again that same night.

Michael was polite and handled our issue quickly. He was also not bad to look at 😉

I was so terrified of having someone in my apartment, but Danny was so organized, clean and professional, I felt safe the entire time - he even wore plastic booties before entering my home, had to go back to his car to get tools, and then put NEW booties on when he entered my house. Service Technician, Mr. Leo Sala, arrived punctually at my home to unclog a drain preventing my washing machine from draining and causing my slop sink to overflow. So easy to schedule on-line. I get my confirmation email and a call the next morning 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. Junior was amazing! He took apart our old, broken, bathroom faucet (with a saw no less!) and replaced it with a beautiful new fixture. He was prompt, professional and a really nice guy. Powerflush toilet system replaced June 2020 after toilet leaking. Toilet leaking again a few days ago, service technician came out and determined leak from gasket that needs to be replaced. Charging me over $500 and claiming it has nothing to do with Powerflush system being replaced. Complaint escalated to a manager without adequate resolution from this company to assume responsibility. Gasket showed have been replaced in June with Powerflush system. This company does not act in good faith. Consumer beware.

Great service, had a plumbing issue and they came within about 2 hours of calling, they even called with an updated time in advance. The guys walked through everything with me, solved the problem and walked through everything at the end. A supervisor also came by to ask how everything went. Everyone was amazingly helpful and they were very upfront with expected costs, nothing hidden or thrown in at the last minute. Mike2054 arrived when they said he would, but it was much later than the 12:00 to 4:00pm time frame that was set up. However the company offered me a discount for my time which I appreciated.I was replacing a bathroom sink faucet housing unit. I had to negotiate with Mike on the cost of the faucet, but once cost was dealt with, he got to work and completed the job within an hour.Mike was overall an easy going guy, even when I put pressure on him; he maintained his professionalism. I was pleased with Mikes work and more importantly Mikes patience.I have a bad back and I lack the technical knowledge to do what these guys do. I understand that sometimes you’ll have to pay for their knowledge and fitness. Overall I think I got the best deal given the circumstances. Therefore given all that didn’t go right I give them 5 stars

On April 23rd I was visited by two of your employees. One was arrogant and was giving me misinformation as well as assuming things that were not true. Disappointed to see someone like that in my home.Later that day I was visited by Mr. Robinson. He used the camera to try to determine where the problem was. Fortunately for me, his assumption was incorrect, but his mannerism was very professional.The gentlemen that came on Thursday April 25th and today April 26 are great. Pedro has been working non-stop since he has arrived. They are still working due to the rainy weather we are currently having, but they are easy to talk to and work with .

Tom was quick to understand my problem with the toilet flushing issues. He worked quickly and cleaned up the work area before he left my home. I have used Roto-Rooter several times and have never been disappointed.

Mike and Jakai came out to my home and was able to remove Styrofoam and paper from my sewer. Apparently, the Styrofoam must have entered by sewer through my gutters where construction work has been happening next door. As a result, water in my backyard was not draining and I was unable to flush the toilets in my house. I am thankful that they were able to move the obstruction and now everything is back to normal.

Mr. Sider #2228 arrived as expected, late in the evening. Quickly presented the costs and reviewed the situation which was a clogged kitchen drain. After running the snake through he drain, he quickly realized the problem quickly was elsewhere. He determined where the problem was and quickly brought mew piping and fix the system. He left the workspace clean and in working order.. A very good job indeed.

The service was great but the price was outrageous. They just replaced the ball set in the tank of three toilets for a cost of $305.00 per toilet, thats highway robbery. If I ha known what they charge I wouldnt have used them. They get you when you call and ask what they charge to come out, I was told they will let me know when they come out. The plumber said $305.00 but I didnt hear him say per toilet, if I had, I would have told him no. So be careful when you call them. $1105.92 to replace three flaps in the tank of toilets, a ripoff, they didnt replace the toilets.

I used your company for the past three years and was fully happy with the price and the service. However, this year the service wasnt as extensive and the price increased from last year about 40%and the work was less because this year was preventive maintenance and previous years was actual back-up. Previous years the window of showing up for appointment was right on time. This year it was 3 hours beyond time frame with no phone call.
