Magnificent job!! I have a studio apt, my family room and stairs that had not been professionally cleaned like in 7years, so you can imagine how my rugs where. I mean I tried my best to keep up with them but after a while the rugs where screaming for help. NY Steamers to the rescued! My rugs came out amazing. They smell so good! And all the stains are gone! NY Steamers were extremely professional and their job is top notch. We moved into our home and the carpets were extremely dirty. They took carpets that werent cleaned for 20 years and restored them to almost new! Came to visit a friend in NYC, and my dog had an accident on their really expensive area rug. It was so embarrassing. The owner and staff were extremely quick in response and scheduled me the same day! Worked with them twice on my mattress (which was deeply stained by an unknown blue substance during my long distance move). I’ve used this company twice and they’ve done an excellent job on both rugs. The first time was a large coffee stain and the second was red wine. Both rugs were completely restored. I wish I could leave ten stars! I spent an afternoon researching various companies over the phone because I am on very limited budget but had a very smelly carpet. It seemed clean after vacuuming but every summer for the past few years there has been an odor to it that was very unpleasant. Even though their estimate was in the same ballpark as all the others, Meirs manner and patience with my list of questions was outstanding. And so was the wonderful job their employee did on my rug. My mother’s drapery was beyond filthy and needed to find a solution for her since we would get disgusted just by looking at them. I googled top drapery cleaning companies and found NY Steamers. They were on time, explained the entire process to me prior to getting the job done, they were honest, which is not a given as Ive had terrible past experiences with other companies, and they were very thoughtful of my house, making sure to put covers on their shoes and towels all around. Its not often a company surprises you with excellence, and pride in their work. This company did. I had scheduled an appointment, and last minute realized I could not stay home. I prepared my cleaning woman. I tried to prepare the rooms, but realized it was too much for me. Imagine how I felt when I returned home to see my carpets, and expensive wool rug looking great, and everything in its rightful place!!! This company even put little pieces of plastic under the wood legs of my chairs, so that the wood wouldnt stain the carpets!!! Was tired when I came home, but immediately perked up up when I saw how thorough, and thoughtful, this company was. Honest, reliable, and thorough. Cant recommend them enough.
