We have been part of the Nomadworks community for over 4 years and have been very happy with the service, amenities and the energy of the space. They recently added a podcast recording room and a rooftop extension which are both welcome additions in these trying times. The coworking space is well lit, spacious and kept impeccably clean. There is a good mix of tech, arts, fashion, media and design companies working out of the building. We have met some amazing companies here, collaborated with a few and made some good friends along the way. I would highly recommend Nomadworks.

Their amenities are just so many. Like i got my haircut by Crystal who is the best beautician, and then chilled in their Wellness /meditation room, then onto the roof garden. Oh yes and did some work too haha

Pricing structure is reasonable, place is kept clean, and well stocked, and staff is extremely professional and personable - Kudos to you Liz and Dan.Environment: Feels as if your working at Googles or Amazons office space. Each area has its own environment, from cool shared workspaces, to a coffee house feel, and even has private rentable studios (inclusive of a podcast studio!). Rental rates for specialty rooms are extremely reasonable too!Other Users: Other users of tis space are all professional, and come from an extremely diverse array of skillsets.All in all, Im very happy with my choice in choosing Nomadworks, and in the event my NYC based projects continue on for the long-term, I definitely plan on upgrading from a dedicated desk to a private office space!

Really cool vibe. V v wide corridors mean you can keep your distance and stay calm. Very bright windows too. Lots of fresh air

Nomadworks is an incredible space with a very, VERY excellent and helpful team. I have been a member for nearly a year and every time Ive had the chance to spend a day there I have come away feeling freshly inspired by the kindness of the staff, the inventiveness of the events, and the convenience of the layout and location. As NYC starts to very slowly and bravely re-open, I would highly suggest making Nomadworks your professional home!

I loved the coffee and tea stations. Staff so helpful and go out of their way to help. Better than the other places i’ve been to.

Team that runs this place have zero ethics. They overcharge you, they do not tell you beforehand before charging you. They kept our one months of rent and entire security deposit by making up new receipts. None of our team members are aware of those charges. Its pretty shady business.Youre better off at one of their many competitors, to avoid unfair business practice, overcharges, and them keeping your security deposit.

Amazing and convenient location, near penn station, nomad district and herald square within view of the Empire State Building. Really nice and clean place. I loved the atmosphere there when I visited.

I was really shocked when I visited. It is by far the nicest coworking space I have been to! I love the atmosphere here and the kindness of the staff. Their views of nyc are great. I feel like they have adapted to social distancing very well and enforce it through the space!

I forgot how much i missed getting out of the house and visiting a professional environment until i came here. The vibe and lunchplaces in Nomad is so inspiring.

They have a partnership with lots of spaces around the US. Nomad passport means you can visit workplace near your home all while getting HQ in nyc Nomad. I have used it and it was an amazing experience!

I can see why people come back here. They try so hard and always want to say yes, even wit tricky questions (like when I forgot my charger, and then needed to bring my kids to office)!

Terrible experience. Nomadworks team is sleazy, they would charge you without notifying you first. When we toured the place they said they’re really flexible and chill about conference room usage. They only gave us 15 hours a month of conference room space for a team of 20 of us but they said don’t worry just sit in the conference room when no one is there we are really chill about it. Lo and behold, when we ended our lease they did NOT return any of our security deposit and said it was for conference room charges. They’re not upstanding people, how can you charge someone without notifying them first.They have bad WiFi service, we have had many client conference online calls drop during the meeting. It’s so embarrassing. It’s standard to expect working WiFi.If you don’t want to lose your entire security deposit, don’t come here!

Great modern and quiet spaces to work. The staff goes above and beyond to meet my business needs. There are also weekly events where I have the opportunity to network and learn more as I develop my business. Excellent wellness, yoga, mediation, and community amenities. Overall a productive, clean environment for a competitive price.

Had such a great experience in Nomadworks.Everything was to my liking: the work space was ideal and spacious; the complementary coffee was delicious; the WiFi was speedy; and the service from the staff was excellent. Specifically, Emmet looked after all of my concerns and was quick to answer any queries I had.Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced work space in a central New York City location.

I love working at Nomadworks. They have plenty of space to take a call, the dining areas are always clean and tidy, and the staff is very helpful and professional. Im a big tea drinker so the fact that they have loose leaf/make your own tea bags is amazing.

I had an amazing experience, the staff were great and very helpful. Amazing community and really nice space. I’ll definitely be back.

Facilities are outdated, toilets have black marks all over, water filter has mold. Management is rude, says one thing but then changes course without telling you and lies about it... Their WiFi kept dropping for 6 weeks in a row and they finally got us our own router device, told us to keep it a secret from other companies as this was a favor and then charged us the router fee when we ended the lease. Don’t risk coming here to deal with shady people! The coworking area is packed with people working shoulder to shoulder, trying to squeeze every bit, making it not a comfortable place to work. Stay away!

I love working here. The atmosphere forces me to be creative and productive and the same time. Plus, they host some great events!

The speaking events here have always been pretty impressive. Definitely a hidden gem about this space. The environment is relaxed but rather productive. Their is a hamic in one of the phonebooth rooms which adds a unique feature for an everyday shared workspace.

Updated Review (10/30/19): I rated Nomadworks 5 stars around the time I terminated my full-time membership and transitioned to working occasionally out of the space. I can no longer do so in good conscience. It seems like the staff no longer takes as much pride in the space as it once did. Heres whats happened since my original review:* I wrote my original review immediately after I canceled my membership. I canceled halfway through the month. Like many coworking spaces, Nomadworks requires a full months notice to cancel your membership. At the time I canceled, the staff told me that since Id been around for a while, theyd be happy not to charge me for the additional month. I wrote the Google review because I was so happy with my treatment. Lo and behold, I was charged. I thought I could trust the staff who told me they could handle it, and I was wrong. I managed to negotiate this down to half a month. This one was on me. I dont hold the staff responsible for enforcing a predatory policy, but I do hold them responsible for their communication and documentation failure. It also appears my membership was never canceled, since...* The month after I thought wed agreed my membership had ended, I was billed again! I responded to the invoice I received to underscore this point, but my response was ignored, and my card was charged. It took over 24 hours to initiate a refund.* The internet stops working sporadically—although, to be fair, this was a problem when I was a member.* The bathroom stalls are out of toilet paper regularly enough to cause concern.* There are rarely paper towels in the paper towel holders.* Per my last count, two of the four second-floor call box lights were not functional. (These lights are already green, for some reason, and using the call boxes is unpleasant.)* The spa water is often more of a spa desert.Original Review:Nomadworks is the best! My team is partially remote and a lot of us live in the NYC area. We get together here, and I work out of here about half the time. Its a wonderful environment, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it if youre looking for a spot to work in midtown that feels bright and isnt too cramped.

The company I work for has been renting a private office in Nomadworks for about a year now. Weve bounced around from coworking buildings before, but really found our home here! The staff is always super friendly and helpful to us whenever we need anything. Yoga class is probably my favorite part.

Honestly, a fantastic place to work and build a sense of community. I love how flexible the environment is. Moreover, the staff is really genuine and a pleasure to talk to - and very responsive to the communitys needs.Over the last 5 years, a huge part of my work life has been revolving around Grind, and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Nomadworks offers entrepreneurs quality work space that is open and well designed. As an architect, I find the layout works well for collaboration. The large number of differently sized conference rooms is a huge plus as well. The corner location gets great sunlight which makes working in the space much more interesting. Unlike most other co-working spaces, Grind allows for much more generous layouts and seating. The price is very affordable for startups and the staff is incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this space as a good go-to place to get serious work done!

Came here for a meeting - pretty nice space. I could see it getting a bit cramped if you dont get an office, but its definitely nice enough to work from if the price is right.

Ive been a member of the Grind since they opened their Park Avenue location and have appreciated the professionalism of the team and community enough to bring my current non-profit [Innovations for Poverty Action] to a Team Room at this location. Its PERFECTLY located for our Washington, DC and New Haven teams to visit as its within walking distance to both Penn Station and Grand Central. Also, the food choices in the neighborhood are AWESOME. Bottom line is that the Grind team is has been welcoming, accommodating, and top-notch professional [especially when weve hosted Board meetings and Regional Director meetings]. We looked at a lot of other co-working spaces and landed at the Grind because it has exactly what we need and our NYC team members really love it here.

NomadWorks is a great space to work out of. Our company always gets great service from the front desk when we need help with printing or booking rooms. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure our needs are met in a timely manner. After having worked at multiple WeWork locations, NomadWorks takes the cake for being a clean, quiet, comfortable place to work from!

I have been working at Grind Spaces for almost 2 years. The coworking space is clean, friendly, and the staff is very helpful when needed. There are team rooms and individual seats -- we love their cafe/event area. Keep grinding!!

A wonderful place to visit

Nomadworks threw an opening party to celebrate their partnership with UpFlex - which was apparently private. I work in events and wanted to see the space for possible future use so I brought some friends from my department to check it out. The girls checking people in were so rude and told us that it was a private event and RSVP was needed. OK, that makes sense but then why was it posted on public forums like Eventbrite and PulseD? Absolutely ridiculous. They basically shooed us away and if this is what the people that work at Nomadworks are like, I dont ever want to use the space.

Conveniently located, functional and lots of day light. A good mix of nice vibe and « a place to get work done ».

I cannot imagine my self working anywhere else anymore. I joined Grind 9 months ago, and it immediately felt like joining a real warm community. Established comoanies here were willing to hear my story and provide support. Moreover, logistics for the day-to-day work are so easy to manage thanks to the support of a great on-location team. one last thing is the location of the space: right in the middle of the city, in a very lively neighborhood, close to the main transportations and subway lines. If I have to recommend something is maybe 1- increase the visibility of the space by organising some events with key speakers, 2- organize some events or activities for the Grind community from time to time to reinforce the feeling of belonging-to-a-community.

I used Grind as my workplace for years, but after a management changed - Ive decided to leave. Its now a dirty, overfilled, space. The staff has been reduced and is clearly overwhelmed. Management is rude seemingly clueless.
