Great location and friendly staff. They upgraded me to a room with a view of WTC. MY stay was pleasant for the most part, but I was awakened by the shaking of pipes within the walls next to my room(1907) from about 3:30am to 7am hence only 4 of 5 stars. The pipes vibrated for about 5-10 seconds intermittently every 3-5 minutes.

***Warning*** Do yourself a favor and Do not come!!We Never had so much problems in 6 days stay (and I’ve been traveling the world for years) Their staff are so rude and so unfriendly. First they had a WiFi problem in all the second floor, we told the girl at the front desk and she belittled us and didn’t take care of the problem. Two days later we woke up in the morning to a nightmare! The whole room was flooded from the toilet, So disgusting!! Our clothes and suitcases were Soaked in water. The hotel has serious problems with the sewer system and of course instead of apologizing for the damage that they caused us They focused on blaming us. In addition, the AC didn’t work in one room for two days. And thats why guys stay away from this hotel! We had a horrible experience and there’s so many better hotels in the city.

Bathroom wasnt cleaned (you can see a bunch of hair in the corners against the black tile, gross), bathroom smelled like SMOKE, the TV sound didnt work (wouldnt have been a huge issue but our first two days in the city it was cold and rainy, so we spent more time in the room than planned), and all of these concerns were met with dismissive answers from front desk well see about it. Well check on it. Well see what we can do, until we had to persistently ask that they be tended to. Only the bathroom getting cleaned was actually addressed with any effectiveness. Definitely not expecting much for the price in such a good location, and I get that its a holiday weekend, but the MINIMUM we expect is for the room/bathroom to be clean. Also the walls are paper thin and when the room next door uses their water a very high pitched sound serenaded us in our room.

It’s fine, I suppose. But there’s a woman at the front desk is apparently to tell all of the guests “I’m sorry but no.” Someone asked if they could sit on the patio. No, the restaurant that uses that space at dinner has it blocked off. There’s a sign in the elevator that coffee and tea are available at the front desk. Can I get a cup of coffee? “No, we don’t have coffee. We have coffee tablets and you make it in your room.” Of course, there aren’t coffee cups in the room. “Can we get housekeeping service today? “ “no, you need to request it 24 hours in advance.” And, of course, there’s the extremely common now phenomenon of a website which says they have breakfast, and a sign on the elevator door that says there isn’t any. I get that post-COVID traveling is more of a challenge, but it would be nice for the hotel to inform you of the challenges ahead of time.

Small, not managed and very dirty rooms - not cleaned / Bedsheet had smell - I had to stay for 4 nights but ended up moving to another place after first night. Ended up moving to Courtyard across the road which is much cleaner and nicer place and it does look like reliable Marriot property.Upon checkin I was told due to Covid they don’t do housekeeping if rooms and if you need it, need to inform front desk a day in advance. What an excuse not to keep facility clean!Never expected such bad standards from Sharaton property. Covid means you need to clean rooms more and not less. Small rooms are fine but dirty rooms are unacceptable. Lack of cleaning means more risk to travelers during Covid.Super poor experience - Stay away!

I have traveled to many states and stayed at plenty of resorts and hotels. I must say that the the Four Points in Manhattan is definitely hands down one that will remain on my top 5 list. Not only because of the location but more so the staff. Chief Engineer Noel is one of the kindest gentlemen I have met by far visiting N.Y we had a small simple problem with our room hot water. He went the extra mile to make sure that we where taking care of and that the problem was fixed immediately. You can honestly tell Noel truly cares for his guests and for his building hats off to you brother. I would also like to give a big thank you to General Manager Patricia for having us in her wonderful hotel keep up the good work. I will definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking for a warm cozy trustworthy place to rest in Manhattan.

I’ve been a Marriott loyalist for the past decade. This hotel was extremely disappointing primarily due to its lack of cleanliness. The rooms smell like mildew and our sheets were ripped and stained with what appeared to be dried blood. We asked for new sheets and they brought us replacement sheets that were equally as dirty. The pillows were abysmal. This is the worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at. I know it’s not the highest end within the brand but it’s lack of cleanliness was very very disappointing.

The room was fine other than the constant sound coming from the sink pipe, the thin walls that allowed me to hear full conversations in the hall and heavy walking coming from upstairs. But to put the cherry on top I discovered on my 3rd night after going to change the sheets on the bed, I found what looking like urine stains on both the mattresses. I am extremely disgusted and I will be cutting my stay short. I have the room booked for 2 more nights but I won’t be sleeping here.

The location of this hotel is excellent, I came here for business meetings but had time to explore the surroundings on foot easily after work. Very friendly service at check-in/checkout - and was also upgraded which was really appreciated. The room was good with a lovely view towards midtown. After getting a new one, i had to circulate among trash bags in the hallway to reach my door. The room was clean. There is some work being done on the building outside and the noise is really strong starting at 7 in the morning Saturday included. I had to request fresh towels after 4 days. I know it is COVID but the staff needs to make it clear that your room will not be refreshed during your stay. I stayed 6 days. Service here is just unprofessional. I had told one of the gentlemen who works during the overnight shift at the front desk that my partner would be arriving later on in the day to use my debit card to reserve my room for another night and i explained to him that the asian man from the day before had notified us that if the person on the name of the card is not present then the card cannot be used. I tried showing him my I.D and told him that i authorize my partner to use my card, he basically told me i didnt require and I.D to check in if the card is already on file. I tried explaining to him what the asian gentlemen from the previous day had told me and he kept telling me that its wrong. Then he thought throughout the entire conversation that i was trying to check out. In which i told why would i be checking out if im telling you someone is coming down to use my card??? The gentlemen gave me a run around and just made it difficult when i asked for a simple task of leaving a note for the next person arriving. At the end of the conversation told me that i needed to fill out the form which didnt make sense because theres 2 people on the reservation which already tells you that there are 2 people staying in the room he then denied to leave a note for the next person arriving. This is unacceptable service and there should not be a whole arguement process to complete one simple task. This hotel needs serious improvement.

From the moment I entered the hotel - a beautiful experience. Whatever youre teaching the staff here (especially Christopher, and more about him later) - you should have them teach the rest of your brands. Welcoming, efficient, kind, gracious.. are some words that come to mind when I think about the front desk staff. I was on a business trip and my MacBook Pro was on its last legs. It was a Sunday. I couldnt find any nearby printing places. I was calling a musical show (Im a union stage manager for live theatre) and the show would have not gone on without my script. Christopher and his co-workers told me they could print for me... not only that, but when I forgot my flashdrive there, Christopher screamed down the block to me, and ran to me to hand it over in person. You just dont find this level of customer service many places these days. I was supremely impressed. My friend who was with me also was - to the point that she said she would be happy to have Christopher work for her (shes in customer service).Loved. Loved loved.

On Dec 18 to 19, 2019, my five-year-old son and I had the harrowing experience of a night at your hotel in NYC, at 66 Charlton St.This hotel is perpendicular to one of the busiest streets in the world, as it serves as an entrance to nearby Holland Tunnel. The hotel is also covered up and blocked off by a large construction project. That construction project means no Ubers, Lyfts, or Taxis can pick guests up at the hotel. On Dec 19, in the morning, my son and I required a ride. I asked the front desk, Since there is construction restricting access to the Sheraton 4 Points Hotel, and since Uber and Lyft require a pick-up address, what pick-up address do you recommend that we use to call on our Lyft?Your hotel manager replied, Just drag the pin on your screen to the street corner, and theyll pick you up there.I replied, That is not an exact science, do you have a contingency address I can use? No, just drag, your GM replied. So, I dragged the pin. My son and I ventured out into the 26 degrees weather. What came next turned into a wild and dangerous goose chase.Left no other option, we used your managements prescribed drag and drop method of Lyft detection. In minus 4-degree wind chill temperatures, on one of the busiest streets in the world, the Lyft could not find our address. The drag-and-place method proved highly erratic, and the Lyft was several blocks down the road. My son and I ran, but that Lyft would not wait. Then we called a second Lyft. Further location problems. Then a third Lyft. Finally, when getting into the Lyft pulled over at one of the busiest streets in the world, we got nearly clipped by another car.We narrowly avoided a total tragedy because your staff refused to adopt minimal forward-thinking on behalf of us, the guests. Your staff allowed a chaotic situation to unfold where, with basic care and planing, chaos might have easily been avoided. Instead of acknowledging the construction and its potential for risk and inconvenience, and instead of putting in place a contingency address, your staff demanded a nonchalant, could-care-less, not-our-problem, 1-star mentality. Your staff put my son and me in harms way, where alternatives were readily available.

Let me tell you about the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and why I will NEVER stay with a Marriott again. I am now only loyal to Hilton. My family and I arrive at this hotel at 9:30pm after a long day of traveling. It was my husband and I and our two year old daughter. We are so excited to get settled and get our little one to sleep because it is her bed time and the front desk people tell us that they sorry for the inconvenience but that they overbooked us and that they have no room available. Mind you I never received any email or call absolutely nothing!!! It is mid December so it is freezing outside and there are no hotels available within a 100 mile radius. I am crying with my tired two year old baby girl in hand. My husband is frantically calling all hotels in the area and it is not until almost midnight when we find a Quality Inn that can take us in for the night all the way in Jersey in a very dangerous part of town. I felt sick to my stomach putting my daughter in danger and my husband felt awful doing this to his girls but we had no choice. It wasnt till 2am by the time we got to the hotel and were settled. We called Hilton which we are reward members with and they stayed on the phone with us for an hour desperately wanting to help us find something. Thank goodness they did and we were able to check in the next morning to a Hilton in the city. I can tell you that I never write reviews but I felt inclined to do so. I hope you all never experience what we had to go through.

This property is fantastic - it has pharmacy and grocery stores just around the corner, and though their gym was under renovation we were provided access to a gym just across the street. We particularly enjoyed being so close to the subway, making accessing theatres and museums stress-free. This property is also very close to a myriad of restaurants; we are vegan and were a 7 minute walk from many vegan eateries in the area.My only caveat is that the rooms are not sound proof, so I would recommend requesting a room on the back side of the building so that you do not have the noise from the street midweek (the weekend morning was fine). Of course, if you arent a light sleeper OR get up early then this wouldnt apply to you ;)In terms of airport access: we took the subway to Penn Station & then trained to Newark. It was about a 45 minute travel time and hassle-free.

Smaller quarters at a great price - this Four Points delivered. Great housekeeping, good service by the front desk staff, the room was in excellent condition. The only complaint might be the heat stability of the room - otherwise, excellent!

A very well maintained property at a great price for the city. Close to Dominic Ansel bakery, Aveda, and other Soho sights and a short walk to Washington Square and Union Square. A quick and easy subway ride from Penn Station

We stayed at Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village for three nights in May 2019. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, floor was quiet. Only down sides were the construction going on outside the building and the fact that there was no fridge in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

All-In-All a wonderful stay. Very helpful staff who all seemed to genuinely appreciate our visit to their hotel. Couldnt help but notice, as well, the appreciation of booking directly with the hotel. Will do the same for upcoming bookings. Hotel couldnt be better located for exploring not only SoHo, but also that area of the Hudson River Bank/Walk. Always felt safe, and always greeted with a smile and a hello from hotel staff.

Just stayed at the Four Points for two nights and couldnt be happier. Staff was great, friendly and helpful, room very spacious (for New York), clean and comfortable. Across the street from the subway which took you virtually anywhere in New York for $3!!! (and directly to Penn Station).Great location in Soho, walkable to many bars and restaurants.House keeping was some the best Ive had in a long time and the price was very, very reasonable for New York hotels. This is my new hotel to go!!

Hotel was within walking distance of SoHos Prince Street, Dean & Deluca and other great shops! A short cab from Katzs Deli and other great restaurants! Very quiet, peaceful location - I felt very safe. San Marino Italian restaurant in the hotel provides fast room service and delicious food/desserts! Room was very clean - large flat screen, desk, comfy bed, iron, hairdryer, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap provided along with many other amenities. I was very pleased with my choice and would gladly stay here again! The staff made me feel very welcomed and took care of all my requests! They were super friendly and made my stay an excellent one!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in Four Points SoHo village and it was a great stay. Front desk staffs are the best, friendly and supportive. The hotel room was small, but it was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The location was great too. The hotel was close to several lines of subway and few minutes away from tons of shops and restaurants. The neighborhood gets fairly quite compared to Mid-town, so we felt relieved from hustling day tours at night. If you look for more spacious rooms and facilities with more perks, this wont be your choice. But if you need clean and simple SPG service in a convenient location with reasonable price, this is the best hotel. We will stay here again!

The Four Points Soho staff is phenomenal. The team at the front desk is exceptional - any time of day or in the dead of night. They are sensitive, perceptive and ALWAYS helpful and incredibly responsive. They make me feel like I am at home. I select to stay at this location when I am in NY because of the most amazing, happy, and customer focused team that is employed there. They anticipate needs and provide exceptional service, all while making me feel like I am the only guest staying at the hotel. They are terrific!!

I have stayed at this location quite a few times. I would like to start by saying it has always been a great experience, and the staff has typically been so nice and helpful and theyre always in such a good mood. This particular visit Emely helped me with check in and she was competent and pleasant and we had some fun banter as she was checking me in. The rooms are always exceptionally clean, and the room staff are also very nice and quick to greet you. I will still, even after the issue described below, recommend this to others as i see this as an isolated incident.the reason for this current review is that my room had not only issues with the toilet flushing, but more importantly, the shower flooded the entire bathroom, seemingly due to poor sealing on the door. when we notified the front desk, we were told to bring our bags down and they would relocate us, and we did so. this was around 9am. i asked if we would not have our new room until check in at 3pm. i was told, yes were really busy and booked so we wont have your new room ready until 3. Considering the issues we had in the room and also I am an SPG member, i would have expected at least a mention of an attempt of getting us into a room earlier than that, or explaining why it was not possible to do so. is it not possible to say, get one room quickly cleaned upon anothers check out so that we didnt have to be further inconvenienced and be without a room for 6 hours? I didnt feel there was any sort of sympathy or additional effort considering our situation. Lastly, Im really not sure how the location would not be aware of that issue already-and if they were, why were we booked into that room?

The MOST comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel in recent memory. The shower was very nice with decent/adjustable pressure. There was a hair dryer and a nice little coffee/tea assortment & bottled water. I stayed in a room with a king bed, and I was on the 15th floor, but the view was a bit of a letdown, just because of the location. The TV is huge, so you really have to be in the bed to watch it. The room and bathroom are both just a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but I have not stayed in many NY hotels, and from the reviews Ive read, it would seem the room size was pretty typical; the giant bed took up most of the room, but I loved it so much my only complaint is that check out time was at noon because I would have enjoyed another hour or two in that bed. I had free Internet access in the room. Brian at the front desk was very helpful when I needed a car called, and the bartender (Judy, maybe?) was a sweetheart. I enjoyed watching the end of the Grammys with her and two other hotel guests. Also, my requests for toothpaste and extra creamers (at different times) were both met almost instantly. There is a safe in the room & they held my luggage for several hours after checkout while I explored the city. I would stay here again; its close to the blue line subway which you can take in right from Port Authority Bus Station, if you happen to be coming into the city by bus (or via Amtrak for that matter, as the Penn Station stop is also on blue line). I didnt have a chance to try the food. Overall, for the very reasonable price, I was very happy with my choice of hotel, especially because travelling on a budget, the short walk to the subway (a few blocks away) was enormously helpful. And as a woman traveling alone, I also felt nice & safe here.

Great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The current construction made it difficult for the via driver to drop us off at the front door and the workers started their day very early (woke us up).

The 4 pts SOHO is my home away from home as I stay there for business every month and sometimes twice a month. The facillity is immaculate and I know I will get a great nights rest in their plushy, comfortable beds. The distinctive feature of this hotel is definitely their staff. After a long trip, they make me smile and welcome me back.. They are concerned about me and make me feel like part of their family. The front desk group, Patricia, Emily, Jessica, and Nick deserve special recognition for their superb customer service skills. I love staying there and recommend it to my family and colleagues all the time.
