This place made my Bag BRAND NEW!!! and it’s Black owned!!!ITS AND EXCEPTIONAL BAG REPAIR SHOP
The jury is still out. Waiting to be notified about my beautiful pale yellow bag I had dyed to country mustard color. Dropped off 4/2/21.
Finished the repairs in a timely fashion. Work was excellent quality, and the staff was really nice.
Meticulous and professional handbag repair. Great customer service and communication, including with respect to options on pricing and restoration services. I strongly recommend and will be back when I inevitably damage my next bag.
Another amazing restoration from Artbag. This is the only handbag repair store I trust with my high end bags. My Chanel jumbo classic looks so beautiful. Thank you Chris for another job well done!
If I could give this place a negative one star I would. To clean my pocketbook cost $220 total . It took one month for me to get it back . The store told me if they couldn’t clean my bag I would be refunded . When I received the call from the store he stated I would be highly satisfied with my results. On 11/16/2020 I came to pick up my bag and my bag was completely dirty . At first I walked out upset and didn’t say anything but then when I went outside and the sun hit the bag and I seen how dirty is was for my $220 I went back in the store to speak with the person who cleaned it . The store stated they would clean it again and have it by Friday . WHY WOULDN’T YOU CLEAN IT PROBABLY THE FIRST TIME . I wouldn’t trust you to ship me a clean bag after that . The person gave me $50 back ONLY FOR FOR A DIRTY BAG AND HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME TO TELL A FRIEND about the store . If I was a male I feel I would’ve gotten all my money back and I feel as a female they didn’t care . Only because I was parked by a hydrant is why I didn’t call the police to get my whole $220 back . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO GET YOUR BAG CLEANED.
New handles! The original handles of my beloved Christian LaCroix handbag were badly damaged by over use. I became distraught when advised by another repair shop that the handles could not be repaired as the needed materials were no longer available. Chris at Artbag suggested a clever option of using another type of leather for handles - which worked like a dream! I love my handbag more than ever. Also the service was first rate and very friendly. Will definitely go to Artbag for future repairs. Thank you Artbag!
Stumbled across this website it was okay
I have sent two of my wifes older handbags to Art Bag for various repairs and both times the work was done very well. The materials used were similar in look and quality to the original handbag components. My only suggestion for improvement is customer service. They should have a genuine customer service trained rep answering the phones, All in all... My wife was very happy with the repairs. We would recommend Art Bag to anyone.
I had a great experiences with Artbag. They restored a reptile bags handle and refinished my Marni bag. Great Work!
I was very disappointed with the service at Artbag. I dropped off my Nancy Gonzalez crocodile bag to have the shoulder strap fixed and asked that they also secure some loose leather strips that make up the basket weave look on the outside of the bag. I also asked that they fix any worn leather on the outside of the bag, including the worn corners. The salesperson, Estelle, assured me they would and wrote up my receipt. After 3 weeks my bag was ready for pick up. When I looked it over I noticed that the corners were not fixed. I was told that it would cost an additional $250 to fix them, I had already paid almost $400. Estelle insisted that we had not discussed the corners and that they were not included in the original quote. My son was with me that day and he also heard her agree to fixing them. I dont mind paying for good service but I certainly do not like being deceived. I will never use them again. I wish I had listened to my friends and gone to Superior Leather.
I took photos of 2 Prada handbags and sent them in for an estimate. The estimate was $500, but I decided that since they were expensive bags I would do it. One bag was a nylon bag with a puncture hole. They ran a leather strip across the bottom to cover the hole. It looked like it was manufactured that way; perfect. The other bag was a canvas satchel with red leather trim. The canvas was dirty, the leather had faded to an ugly pink color and the strap had torn almost in half near where it was attached to the bag. It came back looking like new. I was totally happy with the work they did on both bags. I was amazed that this did this and only charged me $350 because it was not as big a job as they had estimated based upon the photos. WHAT A GREAT COMPANY!!!
Artbag is NOT where you take things to be repaired. My wife took a bag there for a simple repair and cleaning. Theyre way overpriced for the work they did, and the bag looked worse after the cleaning was done. Too many other places to go get repairs done.
Excellent repair work on a leather wallet and exemplary customer service. Highly recommended.
