Halie Dixon a representative from Mondo reached out to me regarding a job opening. Halie was upbeat and personable during the first conversation. After the initial phone call I was the one reaching for updates. That was something Halie should have done. While I did get the job, Halie was not forth coming with all the necessary paperwork. After much frustration and a family emergency, I decided to part ways. Again Halie was not responsive. I had to email her more than once regarding my pay, since I was never given the direct deposit information in a timely fashion. As of 9/10/20 Im still waiting for my pay check. Very unprofessional and I will never use them again.

I also had a great experience with Mondo (Alex Rawa). Alex placed me with a temp-to-perm role. During the placement process/interview, Alex was thoroughly on top of all the details at all times. As other reviewers have mentioned, I felt as though I was Alexs only client, even though he probably has a tremendous workload. Further, if I ever had any questions about anything at all, he was always available. He is great to work with and Id definitely recommend working with Mondo!

In the end of 2019 I had just relocated to the NYC area and was looking for a full time job. One afternoon, I received numerous emails from various recruiters. However, only one stood out. Alex Rawa from Mondo. Not only did he email, he followed up with a phone call and a text message. He made me feel like this was it, this was the job he was going to help me get. After a quick phone call Alex was able to give me vital information about the position and guided me towards the interview process. Throughout the entire interview process, Alex was always at my disposal. He also followed up after every interview. The process was very quick and Alex was able to keep me organized and always ready for the next step. Since working with Alex, I have recommended him and Mondo to other people I know looking for new opportunity in the NYC area. I had a great experience with Alex and Mondo.

Hands down, the most un-ethical, worst recruiting company I have ever worked with. I was pressured to accept a contract job before I had even been given an offer. Like others have said, they pepper you with an excessive number of phone calls and texts. They claimed that they had a company ready to make an offer but needed me to accept it on the spot or I would lose it (exploding offer). After I told them I would need to think about it and was busy that day they continued to call.Because of this experience I did some research on them, which, in retrospect, I should have done before interviewing through them. From that I came to the conclusion that this would be a very bad company to work through and passed on the opportunity because I would have been forced to work through them. We didnt get to the phase of having to negotiate a contract, but based on what I experienced and other reviews Im sure that would have been a very painful experience that had a strong chance of killing the deal.Its a shame because both the end client and I would have liked to work with each other, and they had multiple openings that would have been a good fit. In the end neither one of us wanted to work through this recruiter and would have been forced to on the deal. There are some 3rd party recruiters that can really help you as a candidate. This one will actually hurt your chances of working with a company because you would be forced to work through Mondo on a subset of open positions, add negative value to the equation and ends up being a lose/lose for everyone involved.

Received a personal email from Caroline Corrigan asking if I was interested in an opening. I replied and received no response at all. I then followed up about a week or so later and still no response. Makes you wonder about Mondos approach and overall operations. Is everything canned? How do they make their selections? How do they choose who to respond to or ignore? Are all the positive reviews fake? This red flag is one that shouldnt be ignored.

As an employer (with a signed contract, but no positions filled), my experience with NYC account director at Mondo was very disappointing. The disorganization, lack of transparency and complete lack of respect for others’ time is astonishing. Dismissive and just downright rude. Customer service is certainly not part of their business model.

A few days later, I received an extremely bland email from Brittany advising me, in literally 1 sentence, that Mondo has decided to go with another candidate. Respectfully accepting this outcome, I emailed Brittany (and the VP+Director - yes, a ballsy move) thanking them their time and effort, as well requesting that they provide any kind of feedback for me so that I may develop as a professional. Cue radio silence! Clearly, they did not feel it was worth it (?) to send me another email to even acknowledge mine. Really got the feeling that they do not care about their prospects - you are just another resume helping the recruiter hit his/her quota. Felt very blind-sided, especially when the director (person in charge of the final decision) mentioned that I would be a great fit to the team. If only I was treated with the same respect AFTER the decision, this rating would not be 2-star. Oh well, such is life, and I accept it. Well, that was my experience. Best.

I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn Wilson for the entirety of my candidacy. This was my first time working with a recruiter who I felt didnt see me as just another resume in a pile of 0s and 1s. I was kept up to speed on all matters of importance, and the interactions were lighthearted, positive, and overall, very human.
