In my brief time with Forrest Solutions, I have truly enjoyed my time working for the organization. Ive found the Firm to have a very flat organization with decision-making not mired in bureaucracy. As a Building Manager, I have been working with Forest Solutions for three years now. They have a Messenger Center in our building, which has three messengers in total. I correspond regularly with the messenger staff, in addition to Forests assigned Operations Manager, who consistently plays an active role in overseeing the staff and ensuring that all operations go smoothly.From the moment that I began working with Forest, the Operations Manager (at the time), Luther Hoffman, immediately reached out to me to set up a meeting to discuss the services that the company offers and to explain how their services can improve my tenants experience within the building. When Luther was recently promoted, he played an active role in ensuring that there was a smooth transition with his replacement.Their recent hire of Lead Messenger has exceeded my expectations. She remains in constant communication with me and my tenants and really goes above and beyond in her role.I had also attended a COVENE event where Forest had been responsible for staffing at this event (servers, bartenders, cleaning staff at the event, etc.) and it was very well and tastefully done. The entire staff was well spoken, courteous and attentive.I would highly recommend utilizing them and the plethora of services that they offer!

I worked for Forrest Solutions in Boston MA. My boss Ken Johnson was the worst, he was always in a bad mood. He would never do any work just hand it off for others to do. The mail room was horrible training. I wouldn’t work for this place again

Once it was safe to go back out, I reached out to Forrest Solutions (at the recommendation of a friend) to find work. Stacey was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for and has been getting me regular temp work for the last two months. Now, you get out what you put in... Professionalism. Respect. Punctuality. Im convinced if you show up and have a solid work ethic, Stacey and Forrest Solutions will treat you well and do everything they can to get you work. Im truly grateful for them this holiday season.

Daniel Weisinger is a liar. He placed me in a temp to perm role with a prestigious company and said it was a 3 month contract and if they were impressed with my work then they would offer me the role. I took the position and was confident that I would receive the permanent offer. 3 months later, Daniel informed me that I would no longer have the position there. I was devastated and asked why. It turns out that they had already made the offer 3 months earlier to another candidate they found through Daniel and she was unavailable to begin for 90 days so they only needed a filler person in the role. I was furious that he acted with such horrible ethics and integrity. I sacrificed three entire months at a job that was not leading to anything. No benefits, medical coverage or even interviews with other companies because I was entirely focused on earning the position I was at. Daniel could have been honest about the role being filled already and found another person that was happy to temp only. He was deceitful, selfish and is not of good moral fiber. Be aware that this person cannot be trusted as a recruiter and will only do what is in the best interest of himself and his client companies. I am only one of many, many others he has conducted himself in same way with.

Honestly I don’t understand these negative reviews. I am a professional dancer, and teacher and I have had to turned down numerous jobs because of my other employment opportunities. Forrest and Stacey Garacia in particular has always been so kind, empathetic and even encouraging when I needed to turn down jobs or even cancel last minute. I have lived and worked in NYC for 20 years and never experienced that level of care. As long as you are a hardworking, self sufficient, self motivated, intelligent human then the work is rather easy. I have met many amazing friends working with Forrest and and though I don’t depend on them to make bulk of my income I have found them incredibly useful when I need some extra help. When reading most of these “bad reviews” I see a lot of poor excuses. It’s not that hard. Be available, be on time, work hard, pick up your check.What part am I missing?I highly recommend Forrest Solutions to the right person.

At first you are called in, because your CV looks good, take tests, fill out the massive amount of paper work all to learn; You are just another number on their list. To find a decent recruiter that doesnt sound like a Robot in NY, is a needle in a haystack.

I quitted a job for a position with BMO, Forrest solution was contracted. Super bad communication, it felt very disorganized. If I could less than one star I would. They will get rid of you as soon as they can. Don’t trust them.

Dennis Valsco is the most unprofessional person at Forrest Solutions. I interviewed extensively for a position within the company and was told the I was liked and would be called back by the end of the week. this is week 3 and Dennis has ignored all my calls and emails. I had to block my number for him to pick up the call. Do not use this company they lack the most basic communications skills

Feel like giving 2 stars, but want to be fair. Forrest Solutions gets 5. Maggie, the recruiter gets 1 for a lack of integrity.Less than professional interview process in regards to integrity of recruiter.Communication was fluid before the Friday interview.During the interview I learned of the timeline for training and start date.I expressed no conflicts and that I would hold dates open.At conclusion of the interview, the recruiter, Maggie, walked me to the elevator and said,Thank you. You will DEFINITELY be hearing from us on WEDNESDAY.Regardless of the outcome, I was optimistic about working with Forrest Solutions for the current or future positions.Wednesday came and went. On Thursday I sent an unobtrusive email to thank her and interviewer and to confirm my continued interest.Maggie never contacted me again.When another opportunity opened, I expressed the closing of my availability.Never received a reply.If no interest or promise was offered, I would not have expected a reply.I spoke with Forrest Solutions to inquire about their policy, and shared my experience. The agent was apologetic and assured me that this was not in keeping with company policy.Therefore, I give Forrest Solutions a high rating, but Maggie a poor one, resulting in 4 Stars. Delivering a promise and not following through is not only rude and unprofessional, but damaging to those who are in the job market.

Never go to Forrest Solutions for seeking any job opportunity! The job description is not correspondent to the content of interview. I wonder the advertisement is a bait to steal you personal background info or data. Irada Emeluanova, the agent, she has almost no indignity nor professional skill to write job description. For example, there is two different salary in one position.

I can, however, speak about my experience with Gina M., a recruiter who has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely concerned with getting me into the right position - not just ANY position. I worked for this company when my PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY LOST THE SITE. This company, Forrest Solutions came in and within three months put their own people in and most of my colleagues lost of our jobs.Terrible.... All False Promises.

The Best Experience!

I met with a recruiter here about a month ago. She asked deep, thoughtful questions and really got to know my personal and professional goals. They suggested a placement for me and I am extremely satisfied in the direction I went after the initial interview. Oh, they had a pretty sharp office too.

Dennis Velasco and Louis Nespoli are not to be trusted. They gave me vague answers, and their vibes were just off. I asked them multiple times what the responsibilities of the job would entail but never felt I got anything transparent from them.Don’t do business with Forrest solutions. My feeling is that they are predators preying on desperate people looking for jobs. Even if you aren’t desperate, they’ve made multiple attempts to make me feel desperate like trying to scare me that if I keep staying unemployed a lot of employers will see me negatively, etc. (implying that I must take this job)Those two use a lot of negative reinforcement tactics like that to push you towards the job. Not once did I feel respected, valued, or even seen as a person instead of someone to gleam commission off of. That’s no way to treat people.

I just registered myself here. I went out on one interview through this company. I havent establish a relationship with them are this time. Im willing to give them a chance.

DONT USE THIS SERVICE!!! If I could, I would rate this less than 1 star. The client service is absolutely atrocious. I was put in contact with Dennis Velasco, and he was undoubtedly the most unprofessional human being I have ever been in contact with. I was terminated after a week of being placed in the job he found for me. Other than the interview, the only contact I had with him was him telling me not to go in the next day. I have left several messages asking for ANY type of information, but he has ignored every attempt of contact I have made in the past 3 weeks.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a staffing agency. A recruiter from Forest reached out to me regarding a position. The company seemed interesting so I went ahead and told the recruiter to send over my information. A few days went by and I called my recruiter to see if there was any feedback. Someone from forest told me that my recruiter was no longer with the company and I would have a new point of contact. I attempted to reach my new contact 3x and haven’t heard a word thus far. LinkedIn lets you know when the person is active so I know that she received my message. If the company is not interested or you don’t have any feedback as of yet, a simple message back would of sufficed.

For a job tomorrow, go to FSS!This is one of the best staffing agencies in NYC. Everyone that came into the office, including me, walked out of there with an assignment. Stacey Garacia was especially professional and landed me multiple temp-jobs. They help fit your skills with a big name companys needs. Recommended for someone trying to jump-start their career, or just do some work on the side.

There ok if your looking for a right now job. They usually have jobs starting at $12 an hour and up. They have an easy hiring process. No prove it test!

This company doesn’t help you get jobs like they promise. They will have you do all this extra work just to not refer you to job opportunities. My account manager was Greg Boudreau who was very unprofessional and didn’t even care to respond back to me for job openings. Waste of time & energy.

After applying for a part-time temp position, I was contacted by a man named Clay and then passed on to another recruiter named Drew Murray (who I found out was Division Director for Information Technology). He was easy to get in touch with in the beginning and getting back to me via email or phone call however after he realized I wouldnt be getting the position, he failed to respond to anything. The last conversation I had with him was a week after the interview and he said that he would let me know in a couple of days irregardless of whether or not I got the job. He even said he would give me feedback for future interviews but NOTHING. I left him emails, voicemails, called multiple times and he didnt have the common courtesy to let me know that I hadnt gotten the job. Its horrible to be in limbo, particularly when you know its intentional as he was so responsive in the beginning when he thought he could make some money off me. I would never apply for a position through this recruiting company again - they are so unprofessional!

This is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. The owner is obnoxious, extremely innapropriate, not trustworthy, completely full of himself, and not loyal at all. Do yourself a favor and don’t even entertain an interview, a potential opportunity, and certainly not an offer with this company. Run away, FAST! And don’t look back.

The amount of disgust and incompetence is unbelievable from this company I’m so glad I quit. Somehow I worked for FSO and then got switched to FSS and they lost my bank account information and none of these people were able to inform me that I had a check waiting for me there they just assumed I should know. And then when I asked they’re like “oh yea it’s here” you care to mail it to me or inform me to pick it up? No because that’s too much work. After repeating to multiple people my availability somehow I still received phone calls on my unavailable days to see if I was available to work apparently you know they lost the email. And when I resigned somehow 4 days later (TODAY my ONCE AGAIN UNAVAILABLE DAY) they call me and left a voicemail to see if I can go cover. It’s such a joke one can only laugh at their incompetence. No one gives you any direct answers to anything either so prepare to be super aggressive and hound these people to get CLEAR explanations. You get bounced around from one recruiter to the next, and no one knows what you’re talking about. Oh and prepare to be assigned sites that have absolutely nothing to do with the job descriptions you’re looking to work, working in low class sites where you have employees of this company cursing and disrespecting you. If you have any complaints honestly just quit because NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING. Hope this place soon goes out of business. I lasted only 5 months. The first site I wanted to quit the second week because of ill treatment from the manager and another unruly employee. The run arounds on employee labor laws seem to get blurred with these incompetent managers at the sites. It’s ridiculous. Best advice read up on the laws and educate yourself so you’re not feeling like something is wrong with you. and let me not forget they will message you on LinkedIn even though they have your email but you know probably it gets lost in the paper trail of a mess they haveBEWARE STAY AWAY

Dont believe the hype. This agency, is highly unprofessional, and offers poor customer service.This company came recommended however ultimately disappointed at the highest degree. Upon meeting with the recruiter (Gail B) I was told I possesed an excellent skillset, previous experience, and excellent education (multiple degrees). Finding me a position would be easy and in fact there was one immediately available. I accepted the offer for a 4-month contract which I was to begin with 7 days. I was further told once this contract was complete there would be a better opportunity already scouted for me based on my interview and what she saw my strengths as. After telling me I could start I never heard from recruiter again without my own initiation of conversation 1 week, 3 weeks, 1 month later. To this day All i got was a half ass apology, no real explanation as to why I never started what they offered, and a promise that another assignment would be immediately found. That was 5 Months ago. Thanks for nothing FSS, Thanks for nothing Gail !

Mr. Stevens did absolutely nothing for me. All he did was lead me on to believe that he would be assisting me with finding a job. Then he stops answering my calls and emails. How professional is that??

I worked there maybe about 10 years ago....The worst job Ive ever had. I would rather recommend someone to work at McDonalds than this horrible, unprofressional, and unsympathetic company. My brother was murdered during the time I worked there and they provided no sympathy and only gave me 3 weeks to grieve. Demanded me to come back to work only to be fired 3 weeks later with some stupid explanation. Disrespectful and a waste of time. Im now a successful teacher, loved by my staff and students and I wish I could take back the years I wasted working there. I hope they lose all their employers and money under the orange mans preseidency. Piece of crap place.

Why would any grown man need to enter their high school info on employment forms? I have been an emplyoyee at FSG for 4 years now and this company is constantly growing and progressing in this industry. HQs offers training to all employees that enhances skills and creates growth as an employee. The support from my Directors have been excellent and really helped in some interesting situations. Kudos to our executives that listen to their employees needs and take action to improve in areas that need it. No company is perfect but FSG has genuinely prooved to me that they are here to make us better as employees and that action will enhance customer service to our clients which is key for success.

I absolutely love this company! I am an aspiring actor and I need work that revolves around my life of auditions and the occasional underpaid acting job. Before I found FSS, I kept bouncing around between different companies that would promise to be everything that an aspiring actor needs in an employer. Then, they would proceed to offer me less pay, less flexibility and less hours then we had initially agreed upon.When I finally found myself at FSS in an interview with Scott, I thought it would be another round of false promises. However, Scott has proven to be a man of his word. When I call him he immediately picks up the phone. If I tell him I need work, he will make it his mission to fill up my schedule. If I tell him I booked an acting gig he is genuinely happy to see me succeeding, even though my acting career does not help him in any way. If I go a while without getting in touch, he will touch base to check in on me and see what I need from him. If there are any upcoming training opportunities I can take advantage of, to add to my resume and increase the number of jobs I am qualified for, Scott makes sure I am aware of them.Scott also keeps me up to date on different full time opportunities that are available to me. He is aware that those jobs wont work with my schedule but he wants to make sure that, as my recruiter, he keeps me aware of all of my options.Pam and Jeffrey are also pretty incredible! Pam was a temp worker for FSS before she was a recruiter so she is a great resource for when I have questions about how to conduct myself on a new assignment. Jeffrey comes in person to each assignment and helps make sure that the temp workers have everything we need.In short, I know some people who reviewed this company were not so happy with their experience. But, I would suggest they reach out to Scott, Pam or Jeffrey because those three people are really trying to take care of their temp workers and make a family atmosphere at FSS. And, from what I have seen, it looks like they are doing a damn good job!

Worst company ever just look at their rating that should be a warning to all, if not go see for your self and let me know how that turns out. I can go on and on why this company is so bad for anyone but their isnt enough space for me to input that. Just do yourself a favor dont waste your time. End of the day they only care about one thing making money of you and giving you peanuts in return for your experience and hard work.
