Great massage! But terrible mani pedi and customer service.I was feeling super relaxed after my massage and it all went downhill from there, and I left in a crappier mood than when I walked in, after spending more than $400 and 4 hrs!My first nail technician was asked to switch to another customer while she was in middle of my pedicure. She left me without a massage and an obnoxious lady took over who was almost screaming at me for reminding her what I had asked for originally. She pulled off too much skin, used her sharp nails to take off excess paint and was not apologetic. I left with painful bleeding cuticles, and most of the paint immediately chipped off. Some lady from the front desk and other staff constantly kept interrupting and the whole environment was chaotic and stressful.To end it, the front desk staff was so unfriendly and were not really interested to take any feedback. So I left and decided to not come back again, what a shame since the massage was good.

I went here for a girls day with a few of my friends, and our experience couldn’t have been better. Everyone in the spa/salon was welcoming and friendly. The two front desk ladies were so accommodating when we were there, and helpful and patient when I had called w questions. Daisy did my massage and it was amazing, not to forget the mimosas. Amazing spa!! I have been going to Allure since I moved into the City in 1999. Every service is impeccable!! I often receive compliments on my manicure and pedicure. Kathy is my go to professional at Allure. However, when she is not available I have worked with others and everyone there is an A+. It is worth a bit extra for the quality you can see in their work. Fanny is the professional I use for my hair.

Overall experience was good, but I felt like for what I was looking for (no drinking champagne or anything like that), I could have gone somewhere much much cheaper for the same result. I felt like they did an all right job, but for $170 for 2 ppl I could have gotten a lot more elsewhere since I wasnt looking for bells and whistles. Everyone was very professional, communicated well and kind. The work was sort of sloppy however, which was disappointing cause we expected better. Felt like a midrange tier sort of spa.

I needed a massage because of the back pain Ive had. I told Margarita the employee who works there where I was having pain and problems, she was so welcoming and loving. After the massage I started to feel relaxed and loose. The back pain Ive been having went away after that massage. I would 100% recommend this place! they are so professional and safe by following the Covid 19 guidelines. Everyone wears a mask.

Allure day spa in manhattan On Sunday 11/8 I entered the business because I was interested in doing a pedicure. Upon entering I noticed 5 of the clients were not wearing masks. This is a small salon with no ventilation and no windows so I was amazed at what I saw, and this is actually the second time I tried to give this place a try since it so close. The first time I went on the second or third week in October, there was an event going on of about 9 women getting mani pedis and they were not wearing masks either. That day I did have an appointment but I was so discouraged and upset to see that they weren’t following guidelines in such a small space with no windows or ventilation I just walked out. I really didn’t want to follow up with a complaint but with the raise of COVID, I feel it’s my duty to report this establishment. I for one know I will never go there again as my health is so much more important then a pedicure. And to my surprise one of the stylist was applying makeup on a client with a mask half way on and in such close proximity to each other I was just so displeased that’s when I decided this isn’t the place for me!

The overall experience was very relaxing and professional. Id definitely come again.

Deep tissue massage is everything

Allure Day Spa is an excellent place to get a massage and feel like you are away from it all. I had Michelle as a masseuse who provided the deep tissue massage. We were talking the first few minutes and then I dozed off. She worked my knots in my upper back over and over...I fell asleep. It was deep but not painful at all. Excellent pressure. Thanks Allure!

I hosted my baby shower sprinkle here for 12 people. The staff was courteous and accommodating to the needs of our group and everyone enjoyed their services. None of my friends had anything to say negatively. Even though it was busy, I would recommend the mani pedicure and the massage. Ive been coming here for years--every time Im in Manhattan. This spa does not disappoint! All the professionals are amazing from facials to massage to wax to hair to nails! I especially recommend Marta. Shes an amazing esthetician. Also book with Christiana for massage. She works very hard to get all the kinks and knots out and make you feel better. The spa always has a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Also very fun for bridal and birthday parties.

We were here for a bachelorette party. Nails were done amazingly and lasted long. I have really tiny nails and they covered everything unlike other places. Massage was great but too short to relax for me. We purchased as a package.

I have been coming here for about 4-5yrs mainly for waxing. I have had massages and facials as well. The massage by Crystal was a few years ago but a wonderful experience as well as the red head woman which was more recent but I am not positive her name is Michelle. Michelle asked all the pertinent questions so that I left the session and all pains I had were gone! More recently Justina has the magic touch! Fran, I believe gave me a wonderful facial and explained how to maintain and use products purchased. Marta is my go to girl for waxing but I have used other girls like Margarita who are wonderful but recently a new girl Paula has beat them all!I must admit when I called to make my last min appointment I was leery of the name I never heard but you will not be disappointed! Paula has a little secret that absolutely changed my waxing experience! I will happily use new girl Paula again in a heartbeat!

After having some less than stellar spa experiences I can honestly say that this place is beyond accommodating. I came here on a Tuesday for a facial and a trim and was taken in right away. At least three upbeat staff members offered me something to drink (your choice of tea, coffee, champagne, water) and provided a fresh towel and robe.I was especially pleased with the facial because Marta is a pro at extraction. I am highly sensitive to pain and yet it was minimal and bearable. Parts of my face were red for two days, but that is expected from any facial so plan accordingly for some down time. The end result is well worth it. She was sensitive to my needs and recommended a skin care regimen specific to my skin type. I will definitely be returning. As far as the haircut goes, I didnt get an elaborate cut or style, but I will say that my hair was not cut too short which is always a concern of mine.I am coming back for a couples massage and I highly recommend this setting for groups. Very clean, professional, and friendly staff!

There is plenty of room for improvement in service and communication. There was a lot of waiting without an explanation of why or details of what was happening next. Also there didnt seem to be a lot of flexibility. We reserved 3 hours for our sizable party ahead of time. But when we tried to tweak our services, they seemed reluctant to allow for any change, even tho only 10 minutes had passed since we turned our requests in. It would have been nice to receive confirmation when we first made the request online. Despite all this, the massage I had was great!

Life is always so rush, rush in NYC, days filled with anxiety and stress. When I enter Allure Day Spa, knowing I am going to have the best facial with Ursula Kotulsa, I instantly am filled with joy and calmness takes over.Pass 6 years I have had a facial with Ursula once a month. Facials are a necessity, like brushing your teeth. I am 59 years old and look like I am 40. Ursula is the sweetest and kindest person I know. She is very thorough in her work. She is persistent to remove any black/white heads, gives me the best face masques, and removes all my stressful wrinkles. I am always happy and beautiful when I have a facial with her. Everyone needs a good obsession, facials with Ursula happens to be mind. Definitely money well spent!!!

The person that did my facial was very knowledgeable and suggested things to clear my skin. My massage was very relaxing and she got all the knots out of my back. Allure Day Spa is the only place in NYC that I trust for a good facial. They correctly analyzed my skin as dry, sensitive and prone to breakouts. Allure does a great job of cleaning out my pores, and leaving me with healthy skin. Most other spas (even after I tell them my skin is prone to blackheads and breakouts) just slather a lot of expensive creams and oils on my face, which clogs my pores and leads to a breakout a few days after the treatment. Allure is the only spa that gets it right for my skin. Both Marta and Kathy are excellent to work with!

Terrible. They covered me in something I was deathly allergic to and then didnt apologize. I asked for one treatment and was given something not even on the menu. Like a bait and switch. The manager is manipulative. Completely incompetent staff. Overpriced. They had no protocol in place for allergic reactions. No filing an incident report. They just pretended like it didnt happen. They dont even have you fill out any information.

Ive celebrated my birthday here twice with a spa party, had two of my girlfriends celebrate there birthdays here with spa parties and not once were any of us disappointed with the quality of service, or level of professionalism they displayed to us. The head of staff there even knows who I am whenever I call to make a reservation no matter how long its been since my last visit. This is the only spa I will indulge myself at!

This place was bustling on a Friday morning when my fiance and I came to get pre-wedding massages and manicures. The staff was really attentive and friendly, and we enjoyed our services, but know that its more of a salon atmosphere than a relaxing, luxury spa atmosphere.
